Sunny Oaks Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Ocala, Florida area and are open to exploring options that include mobile home living or investment opportunities, Sunny Oaks, located at 6800 NW Gainesville Rd, Ocala, FL 34475, USA, presents an interesting case. Based on recent customer reviews, this mobile home park is currently undergoing a significant transformation under new management, offering both challenges in its present state and potential for the future.
One of the initial reviews paints a stark picture of the park's condition prior to the recent changes. The reviewer described the place as "absolutely disgusting!!" and the apparent mobile home for rent as "absolutely horrible!!" This feedback suggests that the environment of Sunny Oaks, at least in the past, suffered from neglect and poor maintenance. The reviewer's disappointment with being shown such a property by the office indicates a potentially significant need for improvement across the park.
However, a more recent review offers a contrasting perspective, highlighting the positive impact of new management. This reviewer acknowledges that Sunny Oaks "was a very run down mobile home park before the new managers took it over." They go on to state that the new management has "cleaned up tremendously" and is currently offering "great deals on the mobile homes that need fixed up and the ones they have fixed up already." This suggests a significant and ongoing effort to improve the overall environment of the park through active cleanup and renovations.
The ongoing renovations are a key feature of Sunny Oaks under its new ownership. The reviewer expresses optimism that "This will be a nice park once all the renovations are complete!" This indicates that while the park may still be in a state of transition and may not yet be aesthetically pleasing throughout, there is a clear vision and active work being done to upgrade the properties and the overall community. The fact that deals are being offered on both "fixer-upper" mobile homes and those already renovated presents different opportunities for potential residents or investors, depending on their preferences and capabilities.
The new owners are commended for making "huge turnarounds impacts on small communities," suggesting that their efforts at Sunny Oaks are part of a broader positive trend. The reviewer expresses enjoyment in witnessing such transformations, indicating a belief in the potential of Sunny Oaks to become a thriving and desirable mobile home park in the Ocala area. This positive sentiment about the new management's approach is a significant factor to consider when evaluating the park's future prospects.
Despite the positive direction under new management, the reviewer who provided the update felt that the "current condition is not above the 1" star rating. This highlights the reality that the park is still in the process of improvement and may currently exhibit signs of its previous state. While progress is being made, potential residents or visitors should be prepared for ongoing renovations and potentially some areas that are still in need of attention. The reviewer's willingness to give a higher rating "in due time" suggests that they believe in the park's potential but acknowledge its present limitations.
Given that Sunny Oaks is a mobile home park, the services and features would typically cater to long-term residents. These might include basic utilities hookups for the mobile homes (water, electricity, sewer), potential on-site management, and possibly communal areas or amenities. However, the reviews provided do not offer specific details about these aspects. It would be prudent for interested parties to inquire directly about the availability and condition of utilities, on-site services, and any community features that might be offered or are planned as part of the renovations.
The promotional aspect of Sunny Oaks at this stage seems to revolve around the "great deals" being offered on mobile homes. This could be an attractive opportunity for individuals or families looking for affordable housing options in Ocala, particularly those who are willing to invest in a fixer-upper to their own specifications or prefer a newly renovated home at a potentially competitive price. The ongoing transformation itself could be seen as a long-term promotional point, suggesting that investing in or moving to Sunny Oaks now could mean becoming part of a revitalized and improving community.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Sunny Oaks might not be a traditional RV park catering to short-term travelers. However, the platform category might include mobile home parks as a broader housing option. If you are interested in long-term living in the Ocala area and are considering a mobile home, Sunny Oaks under its new management warrants further investigation. The potential for affordable housing through fixer-uppers or renovated homes, within a community that is actively being improved, could be a significant draw.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information about the current condition of Sunny Oaks, the availability of mobile homes for sale or rent, the details of the "great deals" being offered, and the specifics of the ongoing renovations and planned amenities, it is essential to contact the park directly. You can reach them by phone at (855) 862-8837 or mobile +1 855-862-8837. Speaking with the new management will provide you with firsthand insights into the current state of the park and its future potential, allowing you to make an informed decision based on your housing needs and preferences in the Ocala area.

Place was absolutely disgusting!! The park and the apparent Mobile home for rent was absolutely horrible!! The fact that the office told me to stop by and take a look at it, and it looked like that, says ALOT!!!
Aug 15, 2019 · S RThis was a very run down mobile home park before the new managers took it over. They have cleaned up tremendously and are running great deals on the mobile homes that need fixed up and the ones they have fixed up already. This will be a nice park once all the renovations are complete! I enjoy seeing people make such huge turnarounds impacts on small communities. Great job so far by the new owners. I would give more stars but the current condition is not above the 1. In due time it will rate higher
Jul 09, 2021 · Tammy NI don't know how much the rent runs in sunny oaks for a place named after two of the worlds most beautiful things the sunshine and oaks its the opposite. My sugar coated opnion is that it Could be a nice place if management took the effort to clean it up a bit. My actual opinion is this it's run down and looks like the rentals need more than just a pressure wash. I sure hope for the sake of the people living their that they clean this place up soon.
Dec 03, 2020 · Momma Bird247Horrible place. I'm not from Florida. I tried to rent a lot at this park and was mislead. Basically, I was told the meter would be fixed BEFORE I moved in the trailer, which after speaking with Duke energy, it needed to be replaced. Long story short, the manager couldn't find ANY professional to complete the repairs to the meter so I could turn electrical on because they owed moneys for past repairs to meters. It was said I would be able to move in on time so I paid my deposit and first months rent. 10 months later I haven't been able to move in and I do not have my money back. Please do not moved her at all. Or at least make sure repairs are completed before giving money. Again, I'm not from here and where I am from NO ONE does business like this. Just don't deal with them at all.
Aug 16, 2020 · Keyshia KearseThis park needs to be totally renovated. It has some potential but in the current state it is pretty rough. Definitely is in need of maintenance and cleanup. The location is way off the beaten path but reasonably close to everything Ocala has to offer. There is an operable laundry area.
