Belmont Loop RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Woodland, Washington area, Belmont Loop RV Park, located at 1880 Belmont Loop, Woodland, WA 98674, USA, offers level sites with reliable essential utilities. However, recent reviews highlight several important factors potential guests should consider regarding the park's amenities, cleanliness, management presence, and potential safety concerns. You can contact Belmont Loop RV Park at (360) 938-6300 or +1 360-938-6300 for further information.
One reviewer who stayed at Belmont Loop RV Park for a month noted both positive and negative aspects of their experience. On the positive side, they found the sites to be level with reliable power, water, and sewer connections. They also reported good cell service and a pleasant breeze in the area. However, this reviewer also pointed out significant drawbacks, including the absence of on-site management, unclean bathrooms, perpetually full dumpsters, and the fact that the laundry facilities were out of order indefinitely, a detail not disclosed until after check-in.
Another, more concerning review details a potentially hazardous experience upon arrival. This guest reported that attempting to hook up their RV to the power resulted in a power surge that physically knocked their husband down and caused blue electrical discharge, shorting their power cord. After purchasing a replacement cord for $400 in Kelso, they moved to a different site, only to find it also had no power. This reviewer also emphasized the lack of on-site management, leaving guests to troubleshoot issues independently.
Based on these direct user experiences, a detailed introduction to Belmont Loop RV Park should address the environment, services, and features with an objective perspective:
Environment: Belmont Loop RV Park offers level sites, which is a positive aspect for ensuring a comfortable and stable setup for RVs. The lack of shade, however, could make stays less comfortable during hot weather. The presence of a "nice breeze" is a minor environmental benefit. The surrounding area is not extensively described, but the good cell service suggests reasonable connectivity to the outside world. However, the unclean bathrooms and perpetually full dumpsters detract significantly from the overall environment of the park, indicating potential issues with maintenance and waste management.
Services: The essential services at Belmont Loop RV Park appear to be the provision of level RV sites with reliable power, water, and sewer hookups. The availability of laundry facilities is mentioned as being out of order indefinitely, which is a significant service disruption, especially for longer stays. The lack of on-site management means that guests are largely responsible for resolving issues themselves, although management is reportedly responsive via phone and email. The good cell service is a positive aspect for communication and internet access via personal devices.
The reviews do not mention other typical RV park services such as Wi-Fi, restroom and shower facilities (beyond their uncleanliness), recreational areas, or organized activities. The focus seems to be on providing basic utility hookups rather than a full suite of amenities.
Features: The key features of Belmont Loop RV Park, based on the user reviews, are:
- Level RV Sites: This ensures ease of parking and setup for RVs.
- Reliable Essential Utilities: Power, water, and sewer connections are reported as reliable at the individual sites.
- Good Cell Service: This allows guests to stay connected via their mobile devices.
- Responsive Off-Site Management: While not physically present, management is reachable by phone and email and is said to be responsive to inquiries.
- Pleasant Breeze: A minor but potentially welcome environmental feature.
However, these positive features are counterbalanced by significant drawbacks:
- No On-Site Management: This can be problematic for immediate assistance with issues or emergencies.
- Unclean Bathrooms: This is a major concern for hygiene and comfort.
- Full Dumpsters: Indicates potential issues with waste management and can lead to unpleasant odors and pests.
- Non-Operational Laundry Facilities: A significant inconvenience, especially for longer stays, and the indefinite nature of the outage is concerning.
- Lack of Shade: Can make sites uncomfortable during hot weather.
- Potential Electrical Hazards: The reported power surge that caused injury and damage is a serious safety concern that needs to be addressed.
Promotional Information: The provided user reviews do not contain any promotional information. In fact, the feedback leans heavily towards cautioning potential guests about the lack of on-site management, cleanliness issues, and potential electrical hazards. Any promotional material from the park would need to address these significant concerns to be credible. Given the negative feedback, potential guests would be wise to seek detailed information and assurances from the management regarding the resolution of these issues before making a reservation. Inquiring about the status of the laundry facilities and the measures taken to ensure electrical safety would be particularly important.
In conclusion, Belmont Loop RV Park in Woodland, WA, offers level sites with reliable essential utilities and good cell service. However, the lack of on-site management, unclean bathrooms, full dumpsters, non-operational laundry facilities, lack of shade, and a reported serious electrical incident are significant drawbacks that potential guests must carefully consider. While the off-site management is said to be responsive by phone and email, the absence of immediate on-site assistance can be problematic. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Woodland area should weigh the reliability of the basic utilities against the reported issues with amenities, cleanliness, and safety before choosing Belmont Loop RV Park. It is strongly recommended to contact the management directly to inquire about the current status of the facilities and the steps taken to address the concerns raised in the recent reviews.

Belmont Loop RV Park Reviews
No management on site, the bathrooms weren’t very clean, dumpsters always full. Was not told that the laundry facilities were out of order, indefinitely, until after I checked in- and I was there for a month. Level sites with reliable power, water and sewer, but no shade. Management is available by phone and email and they are responsive. Good cell service and a nice breeze that blows through the area
Aug 01, 2024 · Alysia BraddockFirst spot the power surge knocked my husband down when he tried to hook up. Blue electric shot out and shorted our power cord. ( 2019 fifth)Went and bought a new cord for $400 in Kelso 😡. Moved to a different site, still no power. No manager on site, you are on your own.
Apr 22, 2024 · Kathy BakerThe RV Park is brand new, but I highly doubt the washrooms have been cleaned since opening. We were never able to gain access to the shower. After taxes the price was just shy of $100. Overall, we were disappointed.
May 07, 2024 · Daisy DaffodilSimple, quiet, clean, new. Stayed for 2 months while relocating and no complaints. Was happy with my stay.
