Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that offer river access and camping opportunities, Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp, located at 4005 Dike Rd, Woodland, WA 98674, USA, is one option to consider. However, based on recent customer feedback available online, it is crucial to approach this park with caution and be aware of several significant concerns raised by visitors.
While the name suggests a combination of RV parking and moorage facilities, the reviews primarily focus on the boat launch and the overall condition of the park. One positive aspect mentioned is the convenience of the launch for accessing the Lewis River, Columbia River, and Lake River. One reviewer specifically noted that "It's a very convenient to launch," which could be appealing to those looking to explore these waterways. The park also charges a launch fee, with one instance reporting a $10 fee paid by individuals launching kayaks.
However, the positive feedback regarding the launch convenience is heavily overshadowed by negative comments concerning the facilities and management. Multiple reviewers have expressed serious dissatisfaction with various aspects of the park. One reviewer stated that "The bathrooms are disgusting," which raises significant concerns about the hygiene and maintenance of essential facilities for campers and boaters.
Further criticism is directed at the boat launch itself. One reviewer described the launch as "trash," elaborating that "if you go too far back you will hit a hole and high center your trailer." This poses a potential risk of damage to vehicles and trailers attempting to use the launch, making it a significant safety and usability issue for boaters.
Concerns also extend to the structural integrity of the park's infrastructure, with one reviewer noting that "The dock is falling apart." A dilapidated dock can present safety hazards for users and detract from the overall experience of accessing the water.
Perhaps the most concerning aspect highlighted in the reviews is the alleged behavior and attitude of the park owner, identified as Jim. One reviewer provided a scathing account, stating that the owner "sits on his high horse" and predicted negative and dismissive responses from him regarding any complaints. The reviewer further went on to suggest that visitors should "Keep your doors locked though..... Jim is the mayor of tweaker town!" This is a serious accusation that, while unverified, should give potential visitors pause and warrants extreme caution.
Another incident reported involved kayakers who felt they were given preferential treatment to fishermen at the launch, despite ample space being available. They mentioned being asked to hurry up and move their kayaks after paying the launch fee, leading them to conclude that they "Probably won't use this launch again." This suggests potential issues with how different types of watercraft users are treated and managed at the facility.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the condition of the bathrooms, the state of the boat launch and dock, and serious allegations about the owner's behavior and the safety of the area, it is difficult to recommend Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp to local users searching for "RV parks near me" without significant reservations. While the location might offer convenient access to the rivers for boating, the reported issues appear to outweigh this single advantage.
There is no information available in the provided reviews regarding typical RV park amenities such as hookups (water, electricity, sewage), campsite conditions, picnic areas, or other services. Therefore, it is impossible to provide an assessment of these aspects of the park. The focus of the reviews is primarily on the boat launch and the overall negative experience encountered by those using it.
In the absence of any positive feedback regarding the RV camping aspect of Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp and the significant negative comments about the launch facilities, hygiene, and alleged owner behavior, local users are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution if considering this location. It would be prudent to seek alternative "RV parks near me" with more positive and reliable reviews, especially those that prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of their guests.
If, despite the negative feedback, you still wish to inquire about Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp, you can contact them at (503) 819-0048 or +1 503-819-0048. However, given the nature of the reviews, it would be wise to proceed with extreme caution and potentially consider a visit to the site to assess the conditions firsthand before committing to staying or using the facilities.
In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, Stevens Moorage RV Park Camp in Woodland, WA, presents significant concerns regarding the cleanliness of its bathrooms, the condition of its boat launch and dock, and serious allegations about the owner and the safety of the environment. While it offers convenient river access, the numerous negative aspects suggest that local users searching for "RV parks near me" should likely explore alternative options that offer a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming experience.

Apr 21, 2025 · Nicklaus TaylorWe launched here yesterday to paddle the Lewis, Columbia, and Lake River. It's a very convenient to launch, but we found preference to fishermen as we were asked to hurry up and move our kayaks even though there was plenty of room. We both paid the $10 launch fee. Probably won't use this launch again.
Apr 21, 2021 · retaEdited Review in response to lying owner! First it was NOT my camper and the park owner APPROVED both campers before coming onto the park. So he lies, slanders people, plays games, and my personal review is that this is a slum lord trailer park. Second the lady in the motorhome on the left in the pictures said I hit her RV at 35 MPH in my 1 Ton pick up. Please see pictures to see the truth! Witnesses said I had 6 to 8 inches to spare. If I had hit it, the "18" sign in the pictures would be damaged, but I never touched it per witnesses and pictures. Plus a Cummins 3500 packs a lot of damage if it hits something. I was pulling forward, so any damage would be on the LEFT. But no damage on anything to include the Park Manager approved trailer that I was hauling for 2 residents as a good deed. Third, I DO NOT have dementia and old lady in the Motor home with the plywood door started it. The Park Owner is a belligerent drunk, please see picture. I have more pictures of broken down trailers he approved. Park owner, THANK YOU for printing more slander and the only defense to slander is truth. So unless dementia is in my medical records which it is not, you have 0 defense. The punitive damages have been documented and I was going to let this issue drop, but you crossed the line again.
Mar 25, 2019 · ShawnaLaunched a 26 ft boat here last August. Owner was very helpful. The launch is a tight area for larger boats like mine but certainly doable with care and caution. Took me 10 minutes to back down launch tie up boat, park pickup & trailer and walk back down to my boat. I had no problems for me or my truck when parked for the day. The trailer park is a bit old, but people need to live somewhere. Owner has a kind heart for those down on their luck and that's why the older RV's. Not everybody makes six figures a year. All in All, I will definitely use them again. Oh and owner is a treasure trove of local info if you ask.
