Crestwood Manufactured Home Introduce
For individuals in the St. Helens, Oregon area searching for "RV parks near me" with a focus on long-term stays or those considering the benefits of mobile home community living, Crestwood Manufactured Home, located at 2154 Oregon St #3, St Helens, OR 97051, USA, presents a community with a reputation for friendliness and a sense of safety. Inquiries can be made by calling (503) 397-1988 or +1 503-397-1988.
The environment at Crestwood Manufactured Home is described by a recent resident (moved in August of the previous year) as "a nice place to live" with "Lots of Friendly Neighbors." This strong emphasis on neighborliness suggests a positive social atmosphere within the community, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a welcoming and supportive living environment. The same reviewer notes that the park is "Fairly Quiet but not like a Graveyard," indicating a balance between peacefulness and a sense of community activity.
The physical environment is characterized by "small" yards where residents primarily rent the space. However, the reviewer points out that "almost everyone has done some Landscaping, showing Pride in their Home," and that "Some are even fully Fenced." This suggests a community where residents take ownership of their individual spaces and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the park through their landscaping efforts. The presence of fencing on some properties may offer added privacy or security for those residents.
Another aspect of the environment is highlighted by a resident who mentions "quite a few Kids around where I live" who engage in activities like riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters, or playing ball in the streets. This indicates a family-friendly atmosphere with children present within the community. To ensure safety in light of this activity, the reviewer notes the presence of "Speed Bumps," emphasizing their necessity and the sheer number of them ("14 of them to get to my place!"). This abundance of speed bumps suggests a focus on traffic calming within the park to protect the children and other residents.
In terms of services and features, the reviews provide several insights. The mention of renting the space implies that residents own their manufactured homes but lease the land on which they are situated. The inclusion of landscaping and fencing by residents indicates that they have the autonomy to personalize their living spaces within the park's guidelines. The presence of speed bumps is a significant feature aimed at ensuring the safety of pedestrians, particularly children.
Regarding parking, one reviewer explicitly states, "No parking on the Street. But there are several Guest Parking Areas scattered around." This policy suggests that while on-street parking is prohibited, the park provides designated guest parking areas throughout the community, which is convenient for visitors. However, residents likely have designated parking spaces associated with their individual lots, although this is not explicitly stated.
One former resident describes the park as having "No frills" and mentions "High micro management" but also states, "I always felt safe I was a good manager of my property." The comment about high micro management could suggest strict adherence to community rules and regulations, which might contribute to the sense of safety but could also be perceived as restrictive by some. The reason for selling, according to this former resident, was the "rent going up every year," indicating a potential concern about the cost of living in the park over time.
A crucial piece of advice for newcomers is provided by one reviewer: "If you're coming here for the first time, ask before you come how to get to where you want to be! Unit Numbers are NOT what you expect!! (Odd may be on left OR right. NONStandard sequence. Unit Numbers NOT always visible.)" This highlights a potentially confusing layout or numbering system within the park, making it essential for first-time visitors to obtain clear directions to their intended destination.
While Crestwood Manufactured Home is primarily a mobile home park, the platform category "RV parks near me" suggests that it might also accommodate RVs, particularly for longer-term stays. Mobile home parks sometimes have designated sections or policies for RVs. To determine the availability and terms for RV stays, including hookups and site specifics, direct contact with the park management is necessary.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. Mobile home parks may occasionally offer incentives for new residents, such as reduced lot rental fees for an initial period or assistance with moving costs. To inquire about any current promotions or the availability of mobile home lots or potential RV spaces, interested individuals should contact the park management directly at the provided phone numbers. When calling, it would be beneficial to ask about the current lot rental rates, the sizes of available lots, the terms of the lease agreement, the specific rules and regulations of the community (including those related to landscaping, fencing, and parking), and any amenities offered beyond the basic infrastructure.
In conclusion, Crestwood Manufactured Home in St. Helens, Oregon, appears to be a community characterized by its friendly neighbors, a sense of safety, and residents who take pride in their landscaped yards. It has a family-friendly environment with children present, and the numerous speed bumps indicate a focus on safety. While there is a mention of potentially high micro management and annual rent increases, the overall sentiment from residents highlights a positive living experience. The non-standard unit numbering system is a key piece of information for first-time visitors. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay in the St. Helens area or considering mobile home living, contacting Crestwood Manufactured Home directly will provide the necessary details about availability, services, and any current promotions.

There are so many speed bumps of verying degrees that it would be quite impossible to get hit by a car as a pedestrian. Plus the quiet sounds of wildlife at night are very soothing. The homes are nice and well maintained. Thete id s high caliber og people who live there and they are very friendly.
