Bernard Trailer Park Introduce
Welcome to the detailed introduction of Bernard Trailer Park, located in the historic city of St. Augustine, Florida. When searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring options for long-term mobile home living, understanding the specifics of each community is crucial. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Bernard Trailer Park, combining publicly available information with a focus on what prospective residents might consider.
Bernard Trailer Park is situated at 86 N Whitney St, St. Augustine, FL 32095, USA. This address places it within a vibrant area of St. Augustine, offering residents proximity to various local amenities, attractions, and services. St. Augustine is known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and diverse community, making it a desirable location for many. The park's specific location on N Whitney St suggests it's likely nestled within a residential or mixed-use zone, providing a sense of community while still offering access to the wider city.
For those looking for a long-term solution rather than just a transient RV stop, Bernard Trailer Park operates primarily as a mobile home community. This means it caters more to individuals or families seeking to establish a permanent or semi-permanent residence in a mobile home, rather than offering short-term RV parking for tourists. As such, the services and environment provided are geared towards sustained living. Potential residents would typically own or rent a mobile home unit within the park and pay lot rent, which usually covers the use of the land and access to communal utilities or amenities provided by the park management.
When considering the environment of a mobile home park, several factors come into play. These often include the general upkeep of the common areas, the condition of individual lots, and the overall atmosphere of the community. While specific details on the aesthetic of Bernard Trailer Park's common areas are not extensively detailed online, mobile home parks generally aim to provide a safe and orderly environment for their residents. The park's phone numbers are (904) 417-0433 and +1 904-417-0433, which can be used for direct inquiries about the park's current appearance and any specific community rules or amenities.
Regarding services, mobile home parks like Bernard Trailer Park typically provide essential infrastructure for residents. This often includes access to water, sewer, and electrical hookups for each mobile home lot. Some parks may also offer communal amenities such as laundry facilities, common recreational areas, or even basic landscaping services for shared spaces. It's important for prospective residents to inquire directly with the park management about the specific services and utilities included in the lot rent, and what responsibilities fall to the resident.
The features of a mobile home park often revolve around the lifestyle it supports. For those seeking "RV parks near me" with a focus on long-term stays, Bernard Trailer Park presents an option that emphasizes community living in a mobile home setting. This can be appealing to individuals who prefer a more grounded, neighborhood feel compared to the transient nature of many RV campgrounds. The community aspect often involves a sense of camaraderie among residents, and the stability of a fixed address. However, it's worth noting that "RV parks near me" as a search term usually implies short-term stays for recreational vehicles, so users specifically looking for that might find Bernard Trailer Park's long-term mobile home focus to be a different offering.
Promotional information, while not directly provided for Bernard Trailer Park in the traditional sense, can often be gleaned from understanding the general market for mobile home living. Mobile home parks often promote themselves as providing a more affordable housing option compared to traditional stick-built homes or even some apartment complexes, especially for those seeking homeownership without the high cost of land acquisition. They can also offer a sense of community and independence. However, it's crucial for interested parties to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park, speaking with current residents if possible, and carefully reviewing all terms and conditions of residency.
It's important to address certain aspects that have been brought to light through public feedback. Some reviews indicate that there may be specific income requirements for prospective residents, reportedly around 3x the rent, which could translate to an $18-20 per hour salary minimum. These reviews suggest that such requirements are not always disclosed upfront and that application fees may be non-refundable even if an applicant doesn't meet the criteria and is subsequently rejected. This highlights the importance of asking detailed questions about all financial requirements, including income thresholds and the refund policy for application fees, before committing any funds. Understanding these policies explicitly can prevent potential frustration and financial loss.
In summary, Bernard Trailer Park in St. Augustine, FL, appears to be a mobile home community geared towards long-term residency rather than short-term RV parking. Its location offers access to the amenities of St. Augustine. While it may present an option for stable mobile home living, potential applicants are strongly advised to thoroughly investigate all financial requirements, including income verification and application fee policies, directly with the park management before proceeding with an application. This objective overview, combining general park information with publicly available feedback, aims to assist individuals in making informed decisions when considering Bernard Trailer Park for their housing needs.

Bernard Trailer Park Reviews
Imagine having to earn 3x the rent to live in a trailer park. Even high end apartments in the area aren't asking for this much. They also don't tell you that those are the income requirements until AFTER you pay the application fee. Look elsewhere and don't waste your time with the application fees when they won't take you unless you make an 18-20 per hour salary minimum. With that money, you could rent a better one or two bedroom apartment.

Oct 03, 2023 · Stetson ShannonAlthough my mom was able to find a roof for over her head, there was no heat or ac. There was also no fridge. It was essentially just a shell. Most of these units seem to be taking advantage of people that have nowhere else to go so why would they complain? Most of these trailers were rotting away the last time I seen them up close about 2 years ago. My mom lived here right before she contracted meningitis and passed away after a 3 months hospital stay. While she was thankful for somewhere to stay, she may not have contracted meningitis if she wasn't in this dirty trailer park. She really didnt let me know how bad it really was before it was to late to help. A lot of these trailers are probably inhabitable and the ones that might be okay, definitely have a a lot of cleaning up to do. They recently added a nice, white privacy fence, they used to have a chain link fence. Hopefully they'll upgrade inside the trailer park as well instead of just covering it with a different fence. RIP mom KKD
