Big Oaks Long Term RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "rv parks near me" in the Melbourne, Florida area, particularly for an extended stay, Big Oaks Long Term RV Park, located at 6370 N US Hwy 1, Melbourne, FL 32940, USA, is an option to consider. This park appears to cater primarily to long-term residents, offering a community environment for those seeking a more permanent RV living situation in the Space Coast region of Florida. While no phone number was provided in the information, the address can be used for location purposes.
Based on the limited customer reviews available, there are both positive and concerning aspects to consider regarding Big Oaks Long Term RV Park. One significant issue raised by a potential contact is the difficulty in reaching the office or management, with the individual stating they had been trying for months without success. This lack of communication accessibility could be a major concern for prospective residents needing to inquire about availability, policies, or address any potential issues.
On the other hand, a current resident offers a more positive perspective on the management within the park itself. This reviewer identifies Big Oaks as their home and highlights an issue related to the store located at the front of the property. According to this resident, customers of the store sometimes park inconsiderately, blocking driveways and creating safety hazards by obstructing visibility for residents trying to enter or exit the park. This situation appears to affect both access to individual homes and the overall traffic flow within the RV park.
Despite this external issue with store customer parking, the resident praises the management of Big Oaks Long Term RV Park. They specifically mention that the management has taken proactive steps to address the parking problem by putting up caution tape to establish boundaries, aiming to ensure the safety and ease of movement for all residents. This suggests that the park's management is responsive to resident concerns and willing to implement measures to improve the living environment within their control.
Considering these limited reviews, the environment of Big Oaks Long Term RV Park seems to be primarily geared towards long-term living, fostering a sense of home for its residents. The presence of a store at the front might offer some convenience, but the associated parking issues could detract from the overall experience. The management is portrayed as amazing and proactive in addressing internal community concerns, which is a significant positive aspect. However, the reported difficulty in contacting the office or management initially raises a red flag for potential new residents.
Regarding services and features, the reviews provide limited information. We can infer that the park offers long-term RV site rentals. The mention of a store at the front suggests some level of on-site convenience, although its primary purpose appears to be serving external customers, which can lead to parking conflicts. The management's action of using caution tape indicates an effort to maintain safety and accessibility within the park, which could be considered a feature benefiting residents.
Given the lack of comprehensive information and the conflicting viewpoints in the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a detailed overview of all services and features. Potential long-term residents should try to ascertain information on essential amenities such as:
- Types of RV sites available (size, hookups: water, sewer, electric).
- Laundry facilities.
- Restroom and shower facilities.
- Wi-Fi availability.
- Community areas or recreational facilities (if any).
- Park rules and regulations, especially regarding long-term stays.
- Pet policies.
The reviews do not contain any specific promotional information. For local users searching for "rv parks near me" for a long-term stay in Melbourne, FL, and considering Big Oaks, it would be crucial to overcome the reported communication barrier to obtain essential details. This might involve physically visiting the location to inquire in person, especially given the lack of a readily available phone number in the provided information.
In conclusion, Big Oaks Long Term RV Park appears to be a community focused on longer-term RV living in Melbourne, FL. While a current resident praises the management's responsiveness to internal issues like parking obstructions caused by store customers, a significant concern is the reported difficulty in contacting the office or management. Potential residents should be aware of this communication challenge and the potential parking issues related to the on-site store. Further investigation is needed to ascertain the full range of services, features, and the overall environment of the park for those considering making it their long-term home.

Big Oaks Long Term RV Park Reviews
How can anyone even reach the office or the management? Been trying for months now and no luck...
Apr 29, 2025 · Autumn ParrishThis is my home and the only issue is the Store out front they act like they're more important than us. The customers park wherever they want sometimes blocking drives to not only the homes but in and out of the park They make it not only dangerous but almost impossible to see trying to leave. The management is amazing and has gone as far as putting up caution tape to set boundaries so we are all safe and able to come and go from our homes.
Mar 20, 2023 · Ayme MartinI recently purchased an RV from the manager of the park. He was friendly up until the point he had all the money in his hands, at that time he switched up on me so fast I wasn't sure it was really happening. I asked if I could pay him to use an extension cord to run a fan as it was well over 100° in the RV, he denied the request rudely. So I walked a few houses down to where a friend lives to get a few cold waters and as I'm walking back into the RV he then starts accusing me of trying to move into it then and there. I have the screen shots which I will provide. I personally would not give this park a second thought bit because the children are so young, you should be made aware of who is in their company.
Sep 17, 2021 · Loni Deshotelas for the below post I know personally the whole story has not been told. After being told the rv had to be moved Immediately and was not, purchaser left rv for 2 months with no contact even though she was contacted several times by text message to come get it. The sale of this rv had nothing to do with the rv park except that it was on the property. As far as the management they are fair as long as your fair with them.
Mar 12, 2022 · Keith StephensHow do I contact the owners? There's no number to call. I'm looking to rent.
