Indian Oaks Introduce
Welcome to Indian Oaks, a 55+ manufactured home park situated at 780 Barnes Blvd in Rockledge, Florida. This established community offers a specific lifestyle tailored for individuals aged 55 and over seeking a tranquil and neighborly environment. For local users exploring "RV parks near me" or considering long-term living options within a manufactured home setting, Indian Oaks presents itself as a potential choice.
Based on available information, Indian Oaks has been described by some residents as a "Great 55+ manufactured home Park," highlighting its appeal as a quiet and age-restricted community. This suggests a focus on providing a peaceful atmosphere conducive to the lifestyle preferences of its residents.
However, it's essential to consider all available feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community. One resident, who reported living in Indian Oaks for eight years before deciding to move, shared concerns regarding recent changes in management and maintenance. This review indicates a perceived shift in the community's upkeep and financial priorities. Specifically, the resident mentioned that Homeowners Association (HOA) fees are now directed towards the maintenance and renovation of an adjacent RV park, despite the mobile home owners not owning the land. This raises questions about the allocation of resources and the benefits received by the mobile home park residents.
Furthermore, the same review pointed out issues with the drainage system, leading to water pooling in yards and at the ends of driveways during rainfall. The long-term effects of this faulty drainage are described as causing erosion to yards and foundations, suggesting a potentially significant infrastructure problem. The resident also expressed dissatisfaction with the office staff, describing them as "uncaring and indifferent" to residents' concerns. This aspect of customer service is crucial for resident satisfaction and overall community well-being.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," it's important to note the distinction between Indian Oaks, which primarily features manufactured homes for long-term residency (specifically for the 55+ demographic), and a traditional RV park that typically offers short-term or transient stays for recreational vehicles. While the review mentions an adjacent RV park under the same ownership, the core offering of Indian Oaks appears to be geared towards permanent or semi-permanent living in manufactured homes within a designated age-restricted community.
For individuals seeking a 55+ manufactured home park in the Rockledge area, Indian Oaks may initially seem appealing due to its established presence and the positive feedback regarding its quiet environment. The sense of community within a 55+ setting can be a significant draw for those looking to connect with peers and enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
However, prospective residents should carefully consider the concerns raised in the detailed review. Issues related to HOA fee allocation, potential infrastructure problems like the drainage system, and reported negative experiences with office staff warrant thorough investigation. It would be prudent to inquire specifically about these matters, seek clarification on maintenance responsibilities (particularly regarding trees and land upkeep), and understand the management's approach to addressing resident concerns.
To gain a balanced perspective, it is recommended that potential buyers or residents:
- Contact Indian Oaks directly at (888) 504-1155 or +1 888-504-1155 to inquire about current conditions, amenities, and any recent updates or changes in management.
- Visit the community in person to assess the environment, the condition of the grounds, and the overall atmosphere.
- If possible, speak with current residents to gather a broader range of opinions and experiences beyond the publicly available reviews.
- Review the community's rules and regulations, as well as the terms of any lease or purchase agreement, to fully understand the financial obligations and responsibilities of residents.
While Indian Oaks is presented as a 55+ manufactured home park in Rockledge, Florida, the available information suggests a need for potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence. Understanding both the positive aspects, such as the quiet environment, and the reported challenges related to management, maintenance, and infrastructure is crucial for making an informed decision. When searching within the "RV parks near me" category, remember to differentiate between communities offering long-term manufactured home living and those primarily catering to recreational vehicle stays. Indian Oaks appears to fall into the former category, serving a specific demographic seeking a 55+ manufactured home environment.
In conclusion, Indian Oaks offers a 55+ manufactured home park setting in Rockledge, FL. While some residents have appreciated its quiet nature, recent feedback highlights potential concerns regarding management practices, HOA fee allocation, infrastructure maintenance (specifically drainage), and responsiveness to resident issues. Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to conduct comprehensive research and on-site visits to determine if Indian Oaks aligns with their individual needs and expectations for long-term living within a manufactured home community.

Indian Oaks Reviews
I have lived here for 8 years and have recently decided to move. And it used to be well managed and maintained. Now, the people who own this develop also own the RV park next door. Now our HOA fees go to the maintenance and renovation of the RV park. We do not own the land here and yet we are responsible for the upkeep of the trees. The drainage system is faulty as well. When it rains the water pools in the yards and at the ends of the driveways. Years of this have eroded our yards and foundations. The office staff is uncaring and indifferent to residents concerns. Don't bother buying here, you will be very disappointed

Jul 10, 2024 · Debra WhiteThe people that gave bad reviews about Indian oaks should not have ever lived there. One person was evicted and the second was also evicted but is taking the park to court. We don't allow convicted felons to live here.
Jan 28, 2019 · Kathy BantaThis modular home park is not a place you want to purchase a home in. Not only does management not care about the homeowners....they dont care about this community. The rules they try to implement and impose are unfair and borderline discriminatory. I would not let my family or friends own or rent from stagecoach LLC. They own the land. The management tries to bully the residents and the home owners association is a joke too. Do not and I repeat...do not buy or rent here. It is NOT a 55 plus community like they advertise. Non compliance with the equal opportunity housing act also. I'm not writing this to be on hate for Indian oaks. Its beautiful. But management and the HOA are jokes. I speak from experience. I have family here.
