CANE ROW RV PARK Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Donaldsonville, Louisiana area, CANE ROW RV PARK, located at 7775 LA-70, presents itself as a potentially peaceful and budget-friendly option. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed and objective overview of the park based on the available customer reviews, highlighting its environment, services, and features while also addressing potential limitations.
One of the notable environmental features of CANE ROW RV PARK is the presence of a "pretty pond," which contributes to the overall peaceful ambiance of the location. Guests can likely enjoy the visual appeal of the water feature and the tranquility it often brings to an outdoor setting. For those seeking a quiet retreat, the park's peaceful atmosphere appears to be a significant draw.
In terms of pricing, CANE ROW RV PARK is mentioned as being "about as low as can get," suggesting that it offers an affordable option for RVers in the region. For budget-conscious travelers, this can be a crucial factor in choosing an RV park. The affordability does not necessarily equate to a lack of essential amenities, but rather positions the park as an economical choice.
The physical layout of CANE ROW RV PARK primarily consists of gravel. Reviews indicate that all the sites are gravel, and the park appears to be in the process of adding more gravel to the sites. While gravel sites can offer good drainage and stability, one reviewer noted that it might be less ideal for those who frequently walk pets, particularly dogs with sensitive paws, suggesting a potential need for more paved areas within the park for walking. However, the gravel sites are also described as "big lots" that are "easy to get into," which is a significant advantage for RVers, especially those with larger rigs.
Connectivity appears to be a notable challenge at CANE ROW RV PARK. Multiple reviews highlight issues with both cellular service and Wi-Fi. One reviewer specifically mentioned that T-Mobile service is "sketchy" and, while it works better in the back of the park, the speed is not consistent. Another reviewer stated that if you have T-Mobile, you will get no cell reception at all, and with AT&T, you will get barely any service. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi is described as "useless," indicating that guests should not rely on it for internet access. For travelers who require reliable internet connectivity or cellular service for work, communication, or entertainment, this is a significant factor to consider.
One positive aspect mentioned in the reviews is the interaction with the management. One reviewer noted that the manager was "nice on the phone" when they called to inquire about the park. This suggests a positive initial point of contact and potentially helpful service from the park staff.
The location of CANE ROW RV PARK near a truck stop is mentioned in one of the reviews. However, the experience at the truck stop is described negatively, with all the toilets reportedly taped over and not working. Additionally, a language barrier with the clerk at the truck stop is mentioned, which could potentially make it difficult to seek assistance or information there. While the proximity to a truck stop might seem convenient for some, the negative feedback suggests that the benefits might be limited.
In summary, CANE ROW RV PARK in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, offers a peaceful environment with a pretty pond and is noted for its affordable pricing. The RV sites are large and easy to access, primarily consisting of gravel. However, potential guests should be aware of significant limitations regarding internet connectivity, with Wi-Fi being described as useless and cellular service for both T-Mobile and AT&T reported as unreliable. While the manager is reported to be nice, the nearby truck stop is described negatively. For local users seeking a budget-friendly and quiet RV park in the Donaldsonville area, and for whom reliable internet and cell service are not critical, CANE ROW RV PARK might be a viable option. However, those who heavily rely on connectivity should consider these limitations before making a decision. It would be advisable to contact CANE ROW RV PARK directly at (225) 473-9244 or +1 225-473-9244 to inquire about any recent improvements to the Wi-Fi or cellular service situation, as well as to confirm current rates and availability. Understanding these aspects will help local RVers make an informed choice when considering "RV parks near me."

CANE ROW RV PARK Reviews
Has a pretty pond and was peaceful. Price is about as low as can get. Does look like they are adding gravel to the sites and we would have stayed there but T-Mobile is sketchy. (A must for us) It works better in the back but not consistent speed test. Everything is gravel. I walk my dog a lot and hard on her feet. Need more pavement. Manager was nice on the phone when I called to inquire.
Apr 21, 2025 · Holli BertrandThe rv park itself is fine. Just gravel, but big lots easy to get into. The WiFi is useless. If you have tmobile, you'll get no cell reception. Att you get barely any service. Don't hope to do anything on the internet. The truck stop is terrible. All the toilets are taped over and not working. I hate to say but there's a language barrier so the clerk can't really help you.
May 04, 2025 · Stephanie RichardIt was a way to pass the time. No big wins and only about 4 or 5 different kind of machines. All popular ones and I like the self serve drinks
May 27, 2024 · David HammondManagement is horrible. I've been coming here a couple of days and this place a dump. Plumbing is bad especially in the casino area. Seems like management is lazy cause the casino stays filthy.....ashws everywhere, beer canes everywhere, etc. Whoever owns this place is clearly in for the money cause they doesn't care how filthy this place is. Oncw I saw a guard clean up and you know management is lazy. This can't be life
