Carson Harbor Village Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" in the Carson, California area, considering a long-term stay within a mobile home community? Carson Harbor Village, situated at 17701 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA 90746, USA, presents itself as an established option. You can contact them at (310) 515-0651 or +1 310-515-0651 for inquiries. While detailed information regarding amenities and official services online is limited, insights from long-term residents offer a glimpse into the community's environment and potential appeal.
Understanding the atmosphere of a potential new home is paramount. According to a long-term resident who has lived in Carson Harbor Village since 1993, the park has experienced some decline over the years. However, this resident also points out a significant advantage: the space rent is among the lowest in the surrounding area. This affordability factor could be a major draw for individuals and families seeking cost-effective long-term housing solutions in Southern California. Furthermore, the same reviewer mentions that homes within the park typically sell for around $250,000, suggesting an opportunity for homeownership within the community at a relatively accessible price point for the region. Despite the perceived decline, this resident concludes that it's "not a bad place to live really," indicating a level of overall satisfaction, particularly considering the financial aspects.
In contrast, another resident who has lived in Carson Harbor Village for eight years offers a different perspective on the community's social environment. This reviewer describes the other residents as "really reclusive and cliquish," leading to feelings of isolation and loneliness. This feedback suggests that while the park might offer affordable living, potential residents seeking a strong sense of community and frequent social interaction might find it less fulfilling. It's important to consider individual preferences for social engagement when evaluating this aspect of Carson Harbor Village.
Considering these two reviews, Carson Harbor Village appears to be a community with a significant focus on affordability, potentially making it an attractive option for those on a budget in the expensive Southern California housing market. The opportunity for homeownership at a relatively lower price point is also noteworthy. However, prospective residents should be aware of the potential for a less socially integrated environment, as highlighted by one of the reviewers. It's crucial to weigh the financial benefits against the potential for social isolation based on individual needs and priorities.
In the context of "RV parks near me," the information provided does not explicitly state whether Carson Harbor Village accommodates RVs for long-term stays. While mobile home parks sometimes have designated spaces or allow RVs, it is essential to directly inquire with the park management about their policies on RVs, including availability, hookups (water, electricity, sewage), lot sizes, and any specific regulations for RV residents. Given the park's location in Carson, it benefits from the proximity to various amenities, shopping centers, employment hubs, and transportation links within the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.

In summary, Carson Harbor Village presents itself as an established mobile home park in Carson, CA, with the potential benefit of lower space rent and relatively affordable home prices for the area. However, potential residents should be mindful of the reported decline of the property over time and the contrasting feedback regarding the community's social environment, with one resident describing it as isolating. Carson Harbor Village Reviews
Been living here since 1993. Place has declined since, space rent is lowest around. Homes sell for around $250,000. Not a bad place to live really.
Jan 17, 2025 · Charles KerrI've been living here for 8 years and throughout 8 years of me living here, other people living here seem really reclusive and cliquish which is why this place is really isolating and lonely to live in
Feb 15, 2025 · Joshua BuchananNeeds to have a cable for high speed internet. The mobile homes are old, needing an upgrade. However I do want to add one balance that this place is gated. It has a swimming pool, a repairman, a pool table, a refreshments bar/meeting room, & a community laundry room. It also has a picnic table & a viewing platform for a forested area.
Jan 03, 2021 · Lisa Ann TyreeI live here. The facilities are usually clean. If u dont have a community issued ID card u cant do anything here. If u have a pet keep it in doors as there's coyotes inside of the parks wetland. Yes the wetland is the most beautiful park of living here as it allows for more biodiversity than the surrounding area. Would get 5 stars but my neighbor is awful. As they are extremely religious and feel they are superior to me.
Sep 20, 2018 · GiGiIf you ever call after hours to obtain help the on call lady is rude and condescending. She had the nerve to yell at me and call me a liar. The worst and will not help with anything. Why would they put someone who obviously hates their job to help people. Hope they get rid of her soon.
