Cedar Groves RV Resort Introduce
For local users in the Lebanon, Tennessee area searching for "rv parks near me," Cedar Groves RV Resort, located at 1639 Murfreesboro Rd, presents itself as a highly regarded option based on several positive online reviews. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the resort's environment, services, features, and management style, while also addressing a significant policy highlighted in one of the reviews, to offer a comprehensive picture for potential local RV enthusiasts.
A Well-Maintained and Scenic Environment
Cedar Groves RV Resort is consistently praised for its well-maintained environment. One reviewer simply states, "This is a great RV Park!!" indicating an overall positive impression. Another review elaborates on the upkeep, mentioning "well manicured nightly, weekly, and monthly sites available." This suggests that whether you are looking for a short overnight stay or a longer-term arrangement, you can expect the sites to be in excellent condition and aesthetically pleasing. The availability of sites in "either a shady or sunny location" is a significant advantage, allowing guests to choose a spot that suits their preferences regarding sunlight and temperature.
Adding to the environmental appeal, the resort boasts scenic views on its south side, described as "'farm-like', and is pure Tennessee rolling foothills." This imagery evokes a tranquil and picturesque setting, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Tennessee landscape. The rolling foothills suggest gentle, pleasant scenery that contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Exceptional Management and Staff
A recurring theme in the positive reviews is the high quality of the ownership and management staff. They are described as "the best," and consistently praised for being "always friendly and accommodating." This emphasis on excellent customer service suggests that guests can expect a warm welcome and helpful assistance throughout their stay. Furthermore, the management is proactive in ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment for all guests, as they "do a great job of monitoring the noise and speed limit within the park." This attention to detail contributes to a peaceful and safe atmosphere within the resort.
Spotlessly Clean and Well-Maintained Amenities
The amenities at Cedar Groves RV Resort are also highly regarded. The "pool is a nice amenity, and is always spotlessly clean, with crystal clear water." This highlights the resort's commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing a pleasant recreational option for guests. The positive feedback about the pool's cleanliness is further reinforced by a remarkable observation: during a surprise inspection by the State Health Department, the inspector noted that this particular pool was "ALWAYS perfectly within chemical specification, and it is one of the historically CLEANEST that they monitor." This exceptional endorsement provides strong reassurance about the hygiene and maintenance of the pool facility.
In addition to the pool, Cedar Groves RV Resort offers practical and well-maintained facilities. They have a "dump station" for the convenient disposal of RV waste. Separate "his/her bath houses" are available, suggesting clean and well-maintained restroom and shower facilities for guests. The presence of "laundry" services is another significant convenience for both short-term and long-term stays, allowing guests to easily take care of their laundry needs on-site. Furthermore, the resort offers a "propane tank refilling service," which is a valuable amenity for RVers who rely on propane for cooking, heating, or other uses.
Convenient On-Site Store
For added convenience, "a store is adjacent to the office offering basic groceries, ice cream treats, and toiletry items." This on-site store allows guests to easily purchase essential items without having to leave the resort, adding to the overall comfort and convenience of their stay. The availability of basic groceries, ice cream treats, and toiletries caters to a range of immediate needs and desires.
A Comfortable and Welcoming Atmosphere
Overall, the positive reviews consistently portray Cedar Groves RV Resort as "a truly comfortable place to stay." The combination of well-maintained sites, scenic surroundings, excellent amenities, and friendly, attentive management creates a welcoming and enjoyable environment for RV travelers.
Important Policy Regarding Guests
While the majority of the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, one review highlights a significant policy that potential guests with younger family members need to be aware of. A reviewer with a brand new 5th wheel recounts an experience where they were "told my 16 year old daughter is not allowed to stay there. Wow!" This indicates a potentially strict age restriction policy at Cedar Groves RV Resort regarding overnight guests. The reviewer's strong negative reaction ("crap hole") underscores the unexpected and unwelcome nature of this policy for them.
This policy is a crucial piece of information for local users who may be traveling with teenagers or young adults. It is essential to inquire directly with the resort management about their guest policies, particularly regarding the age of visitors who may be staying overnight, to avoid any unexpected issues upon arrival. While the reasoning behind such a policy is not provided in the review, it is a factor that could significantly influence the decision of potential guests, especially families.
Promotional Information and Target Audience
Based on the overwhelmingly positive aspects highlighted in the reviews, Cedar Groves RV Resort can effectively promote itself to local RV enthusiasts by emphasizing:

- The beautiful "farm-like" scenery on the south side of the park, showcasing the natural beauty of Tennessee.
- The exceptional friendliness and accommodation of the ownership and management staff, who also ensure a peaceful environment by monitoring noise and speed limits.

- The overall comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that makes it a "truly comfortable place to stay."
The target audience for Cedar Groves RV Resort likely includes:
- RV travelers seeking well-maintained and scenic campgrounds in the Lebanon, TN area.

- Campers who value clean and functional amenities, including a pool, laundry, and bath houses.
- Those who appreciate the convenience of an on-site store for basic necessities.
- Local RV owners looking for a reliable and comfortable "rv park near me" for short getaways or longer stays.
However, it is imperative that the resort clearly communicates its policies regarding guests, particularly any age restrictions for overnight stays, to avoid negative experiences and ensure transparency with potential customers. Highlighting the reasons behind such policies, if any, might also be beneficial.
In Conclusion
Cedar Groves RV Resort in Lebanon, TN, appears to be a highly commendable choice for local RV enthusiasts seeking a well-maintained, scenic, and comfortable camping experience. The resort boasts excellent amenities, including a remarkably clean pool, convenient laundry and propane services, and an on-site store. The management and staff are consistently praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, ensuring a pleasant and peaceful environment. However, potential guests, especially those traveling with teenagers or young adults, should be aware of a reported policy restricting overnight stays for certain age groups and should inquire directly with the resort for clarification. Despite this specific policy, the overwhelming positive feedback suggests that Cedar Groves RV Resort is a truly great option for many local RV travelers looking for a top-notch "rv park near me."

Aug 23, 2018 · Perry FordSo I'm in Tennessee with a brand new 5th wheel. I had the thought to save a few bucks and called this crap hole after driving past and was told my 16 year old daughter is not allowed to stay there. Wow!
Sep 13, 2024 · Brandon KeyWouldn't let me stay because I converted my van into an RV?!? If it was just a van I was good, it doesn't look at all bad on the outside... I just changed the insides..... I wanted to yell into the phone, "why do you think I'm calling an RV park!?!? I have an RV". I don't think there's a lot of intelligence at play. Turning away RVs at an RV park.... WOW now I've seen it all.
Oct 27, 2023 · Justin FrizzellStayed at shady acres three weeks ago in my RV asked to stay on Saturday night said that our vehicle was too old now for us to be at the park. They have many units there that are well over 10 years old like mine. The condition was worse than what mine is. Mine is in good condition for a 1996.
Dec 09, 2023 · Missy RobbThey won't open pool on a 90 degree day bc they can't figure out chemicals but yet has been open for 2.5 months either they are lazy or state is failing the chemical tests
