City Lake RV Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a blend of natural beauty and convenient amenities in Tennessee? Consider City Lake RV, located at City Lake Rd, Crossville, TN 38572, USA. This RV park has garnered positive feedback for its well-kept grounds, excellent fishing opportunities, and the friendly service provided at its bait shop/office. It presents itself as a peaceful and relaxing destination for both short-term and potentially longer-term stays, subject to specific park policies.
One of the standout features of City Lake RV, according to visitor reviews, is the exceptional fishing available. If you are an angler looking for "RV parks near me" where you can easily access great fishing spots, City Lake RV might be an ideal choice. The presence of a bait shop on-site, staffed by "really nice ladies," adds to the convenience for fishing enthusiasts, providing easy access to supplies and local expertise.
The park itself is described as "very nice" and "well kept," suggesting that visitors can expect a clean and orderly environment during their stay. This attention to maintenance contributes to the overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that many guests have appreciated. For those prioritizing cleanliness and a well-cared-for setting when searching for "RV parks near me," City Lake RV appears to deliver on these aspects.
In terms of services and features, City Lake RV offers RV sites with hookups. While most sites are equipped with sewer hookups, it's important to note that a dump station is also available for those in sites without direct sewer connections. This infrastructure caters to the practical needs of RV travelers, ensuring a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. The nightly rate for RV sites was reported as $25 during the summer of 2024, providing a relatively affordable option for those exploring "RV parks near me" in the Crossville area.
It is crucial for potential visitors, especially those traveling with pets, to be aware of the park's policies regarding dogs. Reviews indicate that dogs are required to be on leashes within the campground. Additionally, there are reportedly "no dog signs all over the lake close to the campground," which means that dogs are not permitted near the lake in the vicinity of the camping area. One guest mentioned that accessing the lake for their dogs to swim required driving down the road and walking over a mile on a trail. This is an important consideration for dog owners when evaluating "RV parks near me," as it may impact their enjoyment of the lake with their pets.
The review mentioning the stay limitations is also significant for those considering an extended visit. According to one guest's experience during the summer of 2024, the park had a policy of a one-week maximum stay, followed by a required one-week absence before being able to return. This policy might influence the decisions of travelers looking for longer-term "RV parks near me" or those planning to stay in the Crossville area for more than a week at a time.
While the positive aspects of City Lake RV include its well-maintained environment, excellent fishing, and friendly staff, it is essential for local users searching for "RV parks near me" to also consider the limitations regarding pet access to the lake and the potential restrictions on the duration of stay. These factors could be key in determining whether City Lake RV aligns with individual needs and preferences.
In terms of promotional information, none was explicitly provided in the reviews. Therefore, local users interested in City Lake RV are encouraged to contact them directly at (931) 788-2034 or +1 931-788-2034 to inquire about current rates, availability, and any ongoing special offers or promotions. Speaking directly with the park management will provide the most up-to-date information regarding pricing and policies.
In summary, City Lake RV in Crossville, Tennessee, offers a peaceful and well-kept option for those searching for "RV parks near me." Its highlights include great fishing opportunities and friendly service. However, potential visitors should be aware of the park's policies regarding pet access to the lake and the reported limitations on the length of stay. By considering these factors alongside the positive aspects, local users can make an informed decision about whether City Lake RV is the right choice for their camping needs.

City Lake RV Reviews
Great fishing. Very nice well kept park. Really nice ladies working at the bait shop/office. Peaceful relaxing place. Will be returning.
May 05, 2018 · robelec4I lived here half of the 2024 summer. You can only stay 1 week at a time then can come back in a week. $25 a night for rv sites. Most have sewer hook ups but theres also a dump station. Dogs always have to be on leashes in the campground, and there are no dog signs all over the lake close to the campground, so they can't even go to the lake unless you drive down the road and walk over a mile on a trail. That was hard on my dogs to not be able to swim in the lake they can see...

Nov 02, 2018 · Tim HedgecothGreat little place. I've actually never camped there personally but I live in the area. I know several people that have camped here and absolutely love it. The price is great and it is very quiet and not too many people around. Right next to the lake which is a no-wake lake so there are no load boats coming in and off the water. Power and water is Available there. Easy access to town and far enough away from everything! Great camping spot for sure!
