The surrounding area of Pikeville, Tennessee, is part of the Cumberland Plateau, known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational potential.
In terms of services and features, Sunrise Extended Stay RV Park is described as a "full service campground for rv and tents." This typically implies the availability of essential amenities for both RV and tent campers, such as:
- Level campsites suitable for RVs of various sizes.
- Utility hookups for RVs, including electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp), water, and sewer connections.
- Designated tent camping areas.
- Clean showers and bathrooms available for guest use, as specifically mentioned in a review.
One reviewer also noted that laundry facilities are available, which is a significant convenience, especially for those планирующих extended stays. The park is owned and run by a "super nice couple" who are praised for going "above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home." This personal touch and dedication to guest comfort are consistently highlighted as key features of the park.
Another reviewer specifically mentions that the park is a "small quiet place for long term, 30 days or more," and that the family who runs it lives on the property. This reinforces the intimate and family-oriented atmosphere of the park. The fact that they stayed for 30 days and found it to be a positive experience speaks to its suitability for extended stays. However, there is a crucial piece of information that acts as both a feature and a time-sensitive promotional note: "At the end of this season they are going to long term camping only so come visit here while you still can." This indicates a significant upcoming change in the park's operational model. For local users or travelers planning to visit in the near future and seeking short-term RV or tent camping, this serves as an immediate call to action. It suggests that the current season might be the last opportunity for short-term stays at Sunrise Extended Stay RV Park.

Therefore, those seeking short-term stays in a welcoming environment near Fall Creek Falls should plan to visit soon. For individuals looking for a long-term RV community with friendly management and ongoing improvements, Sunrise Extended Stay RV Park presents a promising option in the Pikeville, Tennessee area.

Sunrise Extended Stay RV Park Reviews
Quiet and simple full service campground for rv and tents. It's owned and ran by a super nice couple who have went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. My husband, myself, our sons and dogs are all enjoying our stay here. Clean showers and bathrooms available for use as well. At the end of this season they are going to long term camping only so come visit here while you still can.
Jul 18, 2021 · Kristine CainSmall quiet place for long term, 30 days or more. Family run and lives on property. We stayed for 30 days. They are upgrading sites as they can. Just across the road from Fall Creek Falls State park and the surrounding area is beautiful.
Sep 19, 2024 · Bob RichardsonAwesome campground! Close to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Owners are absolutely wonderful & will go out of their way for campers! Paved road as well as a gravel road once in the campground. Private & peaceful, rural setting, couldn't ask for a better place!
Jul 10, 2019 · Susan RamseyThis was a nice and quiet campground. Fall Creek Falls SP is right down the road. The owners are very nice and will help you with anything you need.
Jun 16, 2019 · Brandon WestermanThe primitive tent sites are spacious and spaced out, which was very nice. Very close to waterfalls. Owner really makes it a priority to get to know guests and wants to make sure your stay is good. This is a dry campground, and they specifically say "we are very strict about this" in their rules. I would give them 5 stars if they made a couple of changes. 1) change the alcohol policy to prohibit drunken behavior, not the drinks themselves (most people are responsible enough to control themselves, give them the chance), 2) give the single-toilet men's room a real door instead of a stall door between the bathroom and office. Awkward! The women's room has a normal door. 3) better way to enforce quiet hours to make sure 2am radios aren't blasting. That happened during our stay, but fortunately we were very far away from them. Maybe a permanent camp host could help. I didn't want to call the owner so late & had no service to call. But in general, I'd recommend it for low-cost camping.
