Apr 08, 2025 · Joy YoungWe had a wonderful stay at this RV park! Kyle, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The park is kept very clean, and the beautiful views around the site were a bonus. Our girls especially enjoyed the game room—it kept them entertained for hours! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay."
Oct 26, 2024 · Stephanie GaulterLots of potential for this campground!Checking was quick. Note getting there from the north on 111, using Google Maps, it was a rough ride the last few miles before the campground.Getting into the site was fairly easy. They had 50 amp hookup with water and sewer. Fairly level but a little tight. Fire pits seem too close to neighboring sites. No cell service, but wifi coverage was really good, and they allowed calling over wifi. Instructions were given about wifi calling. Prices were good per night, around $40 for RV. They also have tent sites and a glamping tent/cabin.There are Amish businesses not too far from the campground, so you can get sandwiches, baked goods, and treats. The primary draw in this area is Fall Creek Falls. A trip to that state park offers all kinds of activities. There is an overlook of the falls as well as trails for biking and hiking. There is fishing and golf.In Spencer, there is Dead Zero shooting range, AWESOME!On premise map shows gas 5 miles down the road (take a right out of the entrance) however, after driving it, that station is closed.A plus is the wonderful service they had on Saturday night at 6:00 pm. They had a gathering at the pavilion and gave praise to our Heavenly Father and His son King Jesus! Outstanding! Loved it and was able to sing along and enjoy with others. While there are plenty of places to walk you dog, a fenced-in dog area would be wonderful. There are like 4 OTA channels with antenna. A few radio stations. They have corn hole, pool table, treadmill, movies and a TV (DVD), a small store and a small playground for kids. The bad news is that the bathrooms were disgusting. Trash overflowing and toilets were a wreck.Foliage in the campground was about 40% changed. In the surrounding area, about 25% changed. If you plan on staying, plan a trip to Dead Zero or to Fall Creek Falls State Park.
Oct 21, 2024 · Kenneth Parkhurst JrI stayed here while working a contract in the area. It is remote but so worth the drive. The owners and managers are wonderful. The facilities are clean and well appointed. Some of the sites are a bit small and mine was on an incline is the only reason I gave 4stars on the room. The sites are full hookup and there are more level ones. I would definitely recommend the park for a getaway or for a place to stay while working.
Jul 22, 2024 · Deborah LittletonThis is an incredibly beautiful area! The owner is kind and very helpful, and the people I've met here were all very nice. It's my little piece of heaven on earth!
