The environment surrounding Clairmont Crest is situated in Asheville, a city known for its scenic beauty in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. The area boasts a vibrant arts scene, historic architecture, and a generally mild climate. The specific environment within and immediately around the Clairmont Crest property itself is not detailed in the provided information. However, being located on Sand Hill Road suggests a setting that is likely accessible and potentially integrated within a residential or semi-residential area of Asheville. For those seeking the natural beauty of the region, Asheville offers proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking trails, and various outdoor recreational opportunities. The convenience of the location in relation to local amenities, shopping, and services would be a key factor for those considering long-term residency in a mobile home park.
Information regarding the specific services and features offered at Clairmont Crest is somewhat limited and potentially subject to change based on recent reviews indicating changes in ownership and management. Traditionally, mobile home parks offer residents a space to park their mobile homes or RVs on a rented lot. These lots often include basic utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups. The responsibility for maintaining the individual mobile homes or RVs typically falls on the resident. Some mobile home parks offer additional amenities such as community centers, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or recreational areas. However, the provided reviews do not explicitly detail these aspects for Clairmont Crest under its current management. Potential residents would need to inquire directly about the specific services included in the lot rent and any additional amenities available within the community.
One of the key features often associated with mobile home parks is the sense of community. Clairmont Crest is advertised as "A Family Friendly Community," which suggests an environment that aims to be welcoming to families and foster a sense of belonging among residents. However, recent customer reviews paint a somewhat different picture, indicating potential shifts in the community dynamic and management priorities. These reviews mention changes in ownership and management, which can often lead to changes in policies, fees, and the overall atmosphere of a community. Potential residents should be aware of these recent experiences when considering Clairmont Crest.
Based on the provided customer reviews, there are some significant points to consider for anyone interested in Clairmont Crest. Several reviews highlight a change in ownership and management, with some long-term residents expressing dissatisfaction with the new direction. One review mentions a significant increase in lot fees after the change in ownership, suggesting a potential rise in the cost of living within the park. Another concerning point raised in the reviews is the alleged lack of communication and support for long-term residents displaced by unforeseen events, such as a flood. This raises questions about the current management's responsiveness and commitment to the well-being of existing residents.
Furthermore, there are suggestions in the reviews that the park might be shifting its focus towards attracting new residents with new trailers and higher lot rents, potentially at the expense of long-term residents with older homes. The implication of a possible transition towards a 55+ community, coupled with the alleged displacement of an elderly resident, could indicate a significant change in the community's demographic and focus. These are serious allegations that potential residents should be aware of and investigate further.
Given these recent reviews, it is crucial for anyone considering Clairmont Crest as a potential "RV Park Near Me" or a long-term living option to conduct thorough due diligence. This would involve contacting the management directly to inquire about current lot rents, included services, community amenities, and policies. It would also be beneficial to try and speak with current residents (if possible) to get a more comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the community environment and management practices. The significant discrepancies between the advertised "Family Friendly Community" and the experiences shared in the reviews warrant careful investigation.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given data. Therefore, it is not possible to comment on any specific promotions or incentives that Clairmont Crest might be offering to attract new residents. Anyone interested in such information would need to contact the park management directly. It is advisable to inquire about any special offers for new residents, as well as the long-term cost structure, including potential future increases in lot rent and any other associated fees.
In conclusion, while Clairmont Crest is located in the desirable area of Asheville, NC, and is advertised as a family-friendly community, recent customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding changes in management, increased costs, and the treatment of long-term residents. For individuals or families searching for "RV Parks Near Me" for long-term living, a thorough investigation of the current conditions and management practices at Clairmont Crest is strongly recommended. Potential residents should not solely rely on the advertised description and should seek up-to-date information from the management and, if possible, current residents before making any decisions.

Clairmont Crest, A Family Friendly Community Reviews
Used to a decent place but it's changed hands a lot. Sure miss the Bowers.Been there since 08 and got displaced by the flood. Lost our place and yet have had any communication from the new owners. Just told nothing available from the site manager. But yet plenty of livable places getting hauled out to bring in new trailers for you to buy and pay a 850+ lot rent so they don't have to keep up with the trailers. It seems they welcomed the flood so they can get rid of the people that have been there for a long time. Gearing for a 55+ community? So displacing a elderly women at 70 with zero communication that lost mostly all the things is okay for these new property owners.** Since I am unable to comment on the reply below. All that rambling on about help and aid from Florida doesn't mean a thing when you ignore the real issue. A fixed income elderly women that rented a home that the park owned is now homeless with zero regard on placing her in another unit. As I said prior. Plenty of trailers that are livable being moved out which could house some of the displaced people that you so much care about.Still ignoring the issue of a displaced elderly lady that rented a place from the park that they owned. It's not that we feel, it's a fact. It's simple black and white.
Jan 25, 2025 · Ben RI lived here for over 3 years. Management sucked, and property owners sucked.Lot fees went up every year (just a little) but when the park got new owners it shot up almost double. There are better MH parks out there...keep looking.
May 26, 2024 · Joseph McHughHave lived here for 2 years and I love it. Nice, quiet neighborhood, good friendly neighbors, and the property manager, Don, is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to deal with.
May 08, 2024 · Matt FryeI called and asked if he had any rentals available and I explained that I had two small dogs and two cats and all he said was I'm sorry sir and then hung up. Real professional sir real professional. Didn't even give me a chance to explain myself or ask any information about myself. It was really rude and get if you don't allow pets but all you have to do is maybe give me a recommendation for somewhere else that does instead of just hanging up on me. I wouldn't want to live in your park anyway.Keep up the good work !
Feb 25, 2020 · Charles HunterWe rented an rv space there because my husband has to travel for work, it was pricy but a nice, quite location. However, the job told us on the 3rd day of the month we had to move to South Carolina by the 5th. We just paid $850 lot rent on the first. I’ve tried calling every number I can find to see if they would pro-rate the lot rent since we were only there 4 days. I’ve left multiple messages and no one will call me back.Seems to have poor customer service.
