Hilltop Mobile Home Park Introduce
Hilltop Mobile Home Park is located at 35 Lagorce Dr, Candler, NC 28715, USA. For local users exploring the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it's important to note that this platform can sometimes include listings for mobile home parks, catering to those seeking longer-term residential options rather than just temporary RV stays. While the name might initially suggest recreational vehicle accommodations, Hilltop Mobile Home Park provides a setting for individuals and families residing in manufactured homes in the Candler area, near Asheville, North Carolina. You can reach the park management at (828) 423-6071 or their mobile number, +1 828-423-6071, for inquiries.
The available customer reviews for Hilltop Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture regarding the living environment, maintenance, and costs associated with residing in this community. One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with persistent noise issues, alleging that loud "Mexican music" is played "all day and all night." The reviewer claims that neither the law nor the park management has taken any action to address this disturbance, leading to a highly negative perception of the living situation, described as "Mexican hell." This review raises significant concerns about the quality of life and the management's responsiveness to resident complaints regarding noise pollution.
Another review corroborates a negative overall impression of Hilltop Mobile Home Park, describing it as "very run down" with "trash everywhere." This suggests a significant lack of upkeep and poor maintenance of the park grounds. The reviewer criticizes the value proposition, stating that the lot rent is high despite the evident neglect. Furthermore, this review details additional costs that are not typically included in lot rent, such as water, trash service, and lawn care, which are all mentioned as extra monthly expenses. Perhaps most alarmingly, the reviewer claims that prospective tenants are required to pay substantial upfront fees for essential infrastructure: $3500.00 for water line installation and $3000.00 for electric service connection. The reviewer expresses disbelief that these costs would be the tenant's responsibility, which is an unusual practice for mobile home parks where such infrastructure is generally considered the owner's investment.
Based on these two reviews, the environment of Hilltop Mobile Home Park appears to be problematic. The alleged persistent loud music creates a disruptive living atmosphere for at least one resident. The description of "trash everywhere" indicates a poorly maintained and potentially unclean physical environment within the park. These factors combined suggest a community where residents may experience significant discomfort and dissatisfaction with their surroundings.
Regarding services, the information gleaned from the reviews is also concerning. While the park likely provides basic infrastructure such as connections for water and electricity (albeit at a significant upfront cost to the tenant, according to one review), essential services like trash disposal and lawn care are reportedly not included in the lot rent and come as additional monthly expenses. The lack of mention of other common mobile home park services, such as on-site management responsiveness to complaints (as indicated by the noise issue), further suggests potential shortcomings in the services provided to residents.
The features of Hilltop Mobile Home Park, based on the negative reviews, are conspicuously absent or problematic. There is no mention of any positive amenities or features that would typically enhance the living experience in a mobile home park, such as recreational areas, community centers, or well-maintained common grounds. Instead, the focus is on the negative aspects: noise disturbances and a run-down, trash-filled environment. The unusual requirement for tenants to pay for water line installation and electric service connection before moving in is a significant negative feature that would deter many prospective residents due to the high upfront costs.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback in the available reviews, formulating promotional information for Hilltop Mobile Home Park for local users exploring "RV Parks Near Me" (in a broad sense of residential listings) is challenging and would require addressing the serious concerns raised. Any objective attempt at promotion would need to acknowledge the reported issues and highlight any potential mitigating factors or ongoing efforts to improve the situation, if such information were available (which it is not in this case). Without any positive aspects mentioned in the reviews, any promotional message would likely be ineffective and potentially misleading if it did not address the significant drawbacks.
Instead of traditional promotion, a responsible introduction based solely on the provided information must serve as a cautionary overview for potential residents. Local users considering Hilltop Mobile Home Park should be aware of the allegations of persistent loud noise, poor maintenance leading to trash accumulation, high lot rent with essential services costing extra, and the unusual requirement for tenants to pay thousands of dollars for utility hookups before moving in. These are critical factors that would likely influence any decision to reside in this mobile home park.
For local users who encounter Hilltop Mobile Home Park while searching for residential options under the category "RV Parks Near Me," it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence before considering this community. This would include visiting the park to personally assess the conditions, speaking with current residents (if possible) to get a broader range of perspectives, and thoroughly investigating the terms of any lease agreement, including all associated costs and responsibilities for infrastructure and services.
In conclusion, the limited information available about Hilltop Mobile Home Park in Candler, NC, through recent customer reviews, raises significant red flags. Allegations of persistent noise issues, poor maintenance, high lot rent coupled with extra fees for essential services, and substantial upfront costs for utility hookups paint a picture of a potentially undesirable living environment. Local users exploring residential options near Asheville who come across Hilltop Mobile Home Park should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough research to ascertain whether the reality matches the serious concerns raised in the provided feedback.

Hilltop Mobile Home Park Reviews
NOTHING GETS DONE ABOUT THE MEXICAN MUSIC ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT AS LOUD AS THEY CAN PLAY IT. IDK WHY THEY THINK OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR THE HORRIBLE SHIT.. THE LAW DOES NOTHING THE PARK MANAGER DOES NOTHING. SO WTH DO YOU DO??? ITS COMPLETE BS.. WE LIVE IN MEXICAN HELL
Apr 06, 2025 · Jamie SueVery run down. Trash everywhere. I don't know who owns or takes care of the place but very poorly maintained for the price they charge for lot rent. Nothing is included, water, trash, lawn care. Those will all come as extra money each month. Also before you move in you have to pay to have water lines dug, $3500 00, electric run $3000.00. Never heard it was the tenants responsibility to have those two done.
Aug 16, 2023 · susie doveBad roads in park but lots of new trailers going in. Maybe they will improve the roads, mostly low income park
Jun 12, 2023 · John CarcanoI love the family atmosphere at Hilltop;however, there are a few pitfalls. We have lived in Hilltop since 2007 and the roads have gotten increasingly worse each year! I think they are the absolute worst this year though, because perhaps the flooding. The school buses will no longer go into the park because of the roads being so bad. Despite the roads, the rent has steadily increased every year and last year increased twice in a year! I don't understand that!!! I hope and pray that Mr Greenberg will be equally as patient with us and our yards and such as we are with his road situation. This park has the ability to be one of the best in Asheville with just a few changes. I'd like to see a park put in next to the graveyard or at office or both for the kids, the roads actually repaved and not patched, the office to look better with flowers and mulch. The parks could be done with minimal funds because parents would volunteer time to work and possible donation of materials as well. We just would like to have the go ahead and not have it torn down or us kicked out after donating said time and monies.Since I wrote this, new roads have been put in and new mobile homes have moved in as well. Yes, the rent increased but taxes and the water company and electric company increased rates as well. Anyone can see that Candler is booming! This seems to be a desired place to live and the neighborhood is safe despite the way it may appear. We are good neighbors that watch each others backs. We are not without our problems but they are mild compared to most places and there's a good mix of people here too. Thank you Mr. Greenberg for the improvements!
