Coast Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users exploring residential options and encountering the platform category "RV parks near me," it's important to consider the diverse range of housing communities available, including mobile home parks. Coast Mobile Home Park, located at 24815 Normandie Ave, Harbor City, CA 90710, USA, presents a complex picture based on the available online customer reviews. These reviews offer starkly contrasting experiences, highlighting both significant concerns and positive aspects of living in this community. Potential residents should carefully consider both perspectives when evaluating Coast Mobile Home Park as a potential long-term living option.
One review paints a very negative picture of Coast Mobile Home Park, advising that "Moving here would be a big mistake." This resident cites several serious issues, including "crime and harassing management." Specific examples of alleged crime include "Robberies assaults," creating a significant concern for the safety and security of residents. The accusation of "harassing management" is vague but suggests potential difficulties in dealing with the park's administration. Furthermore, this reviewer describes a poorly maintained environment with "weeds everywhere" and "Trash on floor." These issues point to a lack of attention to the aesthetic upkeep of the park, which can impact the quality of life for residents.
The same negative review also raises concerns about feral animals, stating "cats galore peeing and scratching your vehicles." This suggests a potential problem with stray or unmanaged cats within the park, leading to property damage and unsanitary conditions. The reviewer also mentions suspicious activity, stating, "We have been having people on bikes lookong around and also this guy in the photos tenants told manager Cheryl' but she told the tenants there is nothing that can be done about it." This indicates a perceived lack of action or concern from the management regarding potential security threats reported by residents, further contributing to a sense of insecurity.
In stark contrast, another resident offers a very positive experience at Coast Mobile Home Park. This reviewer states, "I bought my place over 4 years ago when I moved from Florida. I moved here because it's nice and quiet, clean, well maintained." This directly contradicts the previous review's description of the park's environment. This resident also praises the manager, Cheryl, stating that she "goes out of her way to help you with any issues you may have." This is a significant difference in perception compared to the "harassing management" claim in the other review. The positive reviewer concludes by stating, "My family and I feel very safe here," directly refuting the concerns about crime and security raised by the other resident.
The significant disparity between these two reviews makes it challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Coast Mobile Home Park based solely on this limited information. It is possible that these reviews reflect experiences at different times, under different management, or are simply subjective individual perspectives. However, the severity of the allegations in the negative review, particularly concerning crime and management's response to security issues, warrants serious consideration by potential residents.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Coast Mobile Home Park, as a mobile home community, offers a different model of long-term living. While RV parks can vary greatly in their environment and management, the contrasting reports for Coast Mobile Home Park highlight the importance of thorough investigation before committing to residency in any long-term community. The issues of crime, management responsiveness, and park maintenance raised in one review are not typically desirable aspects of any residential environment, whether it be an RV park for an extended stay or a mobile home community.
Information regarding specific services and features within Coast Mobile Home Park is limited to the points raised in the reviews. The positive review mentions a "clean" and "well maintained" environment, implying that some level of upkeep is performed. However, details about specific amenities such as clubhouses, pools, laundry facilities, pet policies, or organized activities are not provided. The focus of the reviews is primarily on the overall living experience, management interaction, and safety.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided reviews. There are no mentions of move-in specials, discounts, or other incentives to attract new residents. Given the conflicting reports about the park, it is difficult to speculate on any current promotional efforts. Potential residents would need to contact the park management directly to inquire about any such offers.
In conclusion, Coast Mobile Home Park in Harbor City, CA, presents a complex and potentially risky option for local users exploring residential communities, including those who might have initially searched for "RV parks near me." The available reviews offer drastically different perspectives on the park's environment, management, and safety. While one resident describes a nice, quiet, clean, and safe community with helpful management, another details serious concerns about crime, harassing management, poor maintenance, and a lack of response to security issues. Given these conflicting reports, potential residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This should include visiting the park in person at different times, speaking with multiple current residents (if possible), and directly and extensively questioning the management about the issues raised in the negative review, as well as the services and security measures in place. Relying solely on the limited and contradictory online reviews is insufficient to make an informed decision about residing at Coast Mobile Home Park.

Aug 30, 2024 · Robert CormierI bought my place over 4 years ago when I moved from Florida. I moved here because it's nice and quiet, clean, well maintained. The manager [Cheryl] goes out of her way to help you with any issues you may have. My family and I feel very safe here.
Mar 10, 2023 · Lazaro NunezI have lived at Coast Mobile Home Park for the past 10 years. It is a very nice, clean, and quiet place to live. Cheryl the manager works hard making improvements to the park. She is very attentive and always available to help.
Mar 12, 2023 · Cathy RazoI like living here. I don’t care what other people are saying about Cheryl. She works hard to keep this place a nice quiet and clean place to live. I’d like to see others take her place and just see how hard it is to run a park.
Mar 14, 2023 · gayla kneffMy aunt lived there for 15 years, and it was so bad she had to move the manager Cheryl is a nightmare before Cheryl, Kathleen was the manager she was an excellent manager until she passed the place went Downhill since Cheryl has been the manager she sells people's homes when they pass without their family knowing I know of at least two families that she sold their home and I think it was without the government knowing. or paying taxes If I could give a half-a Star I would. When my came to visit me she was gone for a week and they towed her car out of her driveway she she had to pay to get it back.
