Cotillion Gardens RV Park Introduce
Cotillion Gardens RV Park, located at 300 Old Big Trees Rd, Felton, CA 95018, USA, offers a nature-focused camping experience within the platform category of "RV parks near me." This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of the RV park, drawing upon available information, including contact details and feedback from recent visitors. For those seeking RV parks in the Felton area, particularly those who appreciate natural surroundings and access to outdoor activities, Cotillion Gardens RV Park presents a compelling option.
The environment at Cotillion Gardens RV Park is consistently highlighted for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Situated in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the park is surrounded by trees and offers a sense of immersion in nature. One visitor explicitly notes that it is a "nature camp site and not a luxury camp site," emphasizing its focus on the natural surroundings rather than high-end amenities. The park provides easy access to hiking trails, with one reviewer mentioning enjoyable walks to the San Lorenzo River and the Old Train Trestle Bridge. Its proximity to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park further enhances its appeal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The roads leading to the park are described as "curvy and narrow" with "astonishing" views, but visitors are advised to be attentive to hikers and bikers in the area.
In terms of services and features, Cotillion Gardens RV Park offers full hookups at some sites, as mentioned for site 23, including water, electricity, and sewer connections. Individual sites are generally well-maintained and often include basic amenities such as an old picnic table and a metal fire ring. The park is described as "very well kept," indicating attention to cleanliness and upkeep. One reviewer noted that the employees are "super nice," suggesting a positive and helpful staff presence. While the park is not characterized as luxurious, it provides the essential services for a comfortable stay in a natural setting.
One recurring point in the reviews is that some of the campsites can be "tight." One visitor with a 25' trailer and a 19' truck found their site (23) to fit perfectly, but noted that a neighboring site felt close due to slide-outs. Another reviewer in site 40 was happy with their space but acknowledged that some sites are indeed compact. This suggests that while the park can accommodate various sizes of RVs, the spacing between sites might be closer than in some more spacious RV resorts. It would be advisable for prospective visitors to inquire about site dimensions and choose a site that comfortably fits their rig.
One specific feature mentioned is the availability of bathroom facilities. One reviewer noted that the "back bathroom is" small, particularly the toilet stall, suggesting that this might be an area for potential improvement. However, this was the only significant negative comment regarding the park's facilities, and the reviewer still described their stay as "pleasant." The presence of a fire ring at some sites indicates that campfires are likely permitted, enhancing the outdoor camping experience.

Cotillion Gardens RV Park Reviews
We had an awesome stay at cotillion rv park. It's true that spaces could be tight, We have a 25' trailer with a 19' truck but it fits perfectly. The neighbor was a little close to our right side just because they have slide outs. We are at site 23, it has full hookups and is well maintained, with an old picnic table and also a metal fire ring. It has easy access to hiking which we took advantage of, walking to the san Lorenzo river and Old train trestle bridge. The roads going to the park are curvy and narrow but the view is astonishing but make sure you pay attention because a lot of hikers and bikers park around the area and it is close to henry cowell redwoods state park. We will be adding this to our favorite rv campsite and probably visit again and stay a Little longer. One more thing, this rv camp site is a nature camp site and not a luxury camp site, stop comparing it to those sites, this site is perfect as it can be if you want to be around trees and nature. 👍
Jul 29, 2024 · Jeffrey MangulabnanJust got done staying a week here. Very well kept campsites. Some are really tight. We were in 40 and were happy with it. Very quiet and peaceful. Super nice employees. My only gripe is how small the back bathroom is. It needs to be extended like 2 feet so the stall door isn’t in your face or even cut it down to one toilet. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and a great base for exploring the area.
Aug 21, 2023 · Jamie BuckThis was our first time staying here and we were very happy. The end of October was definitely the time to stay here. We arrived on Monday and left on Friday and the park was pleasantly quite. Our site was neat and clean, had ample space to enjoy outside and we backed up to a little creek. The lady who checked me in was pleasant, provided good advice on how to approach our site and back in making set-up a breeze. We like a quiet camp so I don't know if we'd come back during the summer busy season, but we will definitely come back in fall and winter.
Nov 07, 2023 · MarkWe visited here recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities (hot showers, clean toilets with tissue, laundry facility, and Wi-Fi too) and closeness to the shops kept any tenting fears away. The fire pits were great and the open cooking area ensured lots of yummy hot food was served. The only challenge was doing the dishes with cold water in the sink. Will need to level up and be more prepared next time. I am a little jealous of the many big RVs nearby!
May 14, 2023 · Global NomadSite asks you about the vehicle you’ll be staying in during the checkout process, and the sites say they’re great for a pop up camper. But, car camping is not allowed. Deceptive at best.
