Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort Reviews
This place is amazing!! The management is very friendly, sweet, and tries their best to accommodate you! I’m never disappointed when I stay. And since I’ve discovered this place I’ve stayed about 3-5 times every year…. And if more if I can! It’s not “traditional” camping but it’s the kind of camping I like! I’m currently pregnant and have a two year old so I like to be able to have some modern amenities (if ya know, ya know)If anyone has any questions feel free to comment and ask me! If you’re contemplating this place…. Just try it!I’ve seen some of the people the staff deals with… and I’ll tell you right now…. They really believe the customer is always right! That being said: we love and respect you guys!We currently have reservations coming up in April and we’re looking forward to it!!!!
Mar 02, 2025 · Jillian StamperWe had a wonderful experience at Santa Cruise RV Redwoods Resort. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and took care of all our needs. We were rookie RV’ers and had a couple of issues. They went out of their way to assist us. Clean bathroom and laundry facilities. Great location next to beautiful Cowell Redwoods State Park. Great stay!
May 01, 2025 · Glenn BinghamTent campers beware. Hostile hosts, everything is under construction. You will be nagged about every little thing by the most unfriendly and judgmental people in Felton. Location is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, not very fun. Sites are tucked away in the smallest corner possible, tiny sites, tight parking. Huge hill that I can imagine would be unsafe for small children. You're right next to their maintenance building, and they have scattered equipment taking up the parking lot. Look elsewhere for tent camping.
Apr 30, 2025 · Anonymous NorCalWe really enjoy staying here!My family has rented an RV a couple times but when we can’t rent an RV we like to stay in the tent cabin. It’s like camping without needing to bring a whole tent and you can bring a little space heater or a fan(depends on time of year) and it has optional cots. (We usually have a rolled out air mattress we bring we have two kids under 6 so there’s usually one set up for one of them to take a nap on)I think there’s an option to bring your own tent… like an empty spot but I’m not 100% just check with management!Always, always check with management…. Never assume because you did it somewhere you can there…. Just like any campsite place they have rules… the only difference (the difference I like and feel like we pay extra for) is they’re making sure you and people around you follow the rules! Helping to make it easily enjoyable FOR EVERYBODY!Don't come here if you expect to break rules or do your own thing….It’s just a really sweet vibe there they are really so kind about implementing the rules. It was surprisingly steep to get down to the river but we managed it safely with two kids under 6 but if you’re not sure of yourself there are close(like a five minute drive down highway 9) little pull outs where you can take a hike down to the river…. BUT it’s all public so I like to go to the more private river they offer.I would definitely (and do!) recommend this place to anyone. Especially families! We like to pack our sons bikes and scooters and it’s totally safe to let them scooter and bike around! We still supervise them but it helps that they enforce no faster than 5mph in the park! There’s also a playground! It’s very very small but it’s pretty cute.
Mar 03, 2025 · Jillian Deborah (Beans)Literally the worst managed campground I’ve ever been to. Staff are combative and rude, pushing for extra fees from the min we arrived. Sites are small and there is a dangerous cliff on several of the sites. Clubhouse was advertised and one of the reasons we booked but was closed. Interactions with both the office staff and maintenance man were some of the most negative experiences I’ve had, and ruined our weekend. If you value your money and sanity stay away from this campground.
