Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For those exploring residential options within the category of "rv parks near me" in the Austin, Texas area, it's important to consider manufactured home communities like Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community, situated at 8507 Hidden W Blvd, Austin, TX 78724, USA. While not strictly an RV park, manufactured home communities offer a different type of long-term living arrangement that may appeal to individuals seeking a stable residential environment. Loma Vista can be contacted at (512) 862-0924 or +1 512-862-0924 for inquiries about residency.
Based on the available online reviews, experiences at Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community appear to be varied. One long-term resident, having lived there for seven years, expresses a high level of satisfaction. This reviewer specifically praises the office staff for being "very respectful" and highlights the "fantastic job" done by the maintenance team on the property. Their overall sentiment is positive, stating, "I really love it here." This positive experience suggests that for some residents, Loma Vista offers a comfortable and well-managed living environment.
The same positive review also acknowledges the challenging nature of managing a large residential property with many residents, commending the office staff, particularly Ms. Raquenelly and Mr. Josh, for their efforts in keeping the community happy. The reviewer expresses personal admiration for their ability to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of management, suggesting a level of dedication and competence within the administrative team.
However, another review presents a contrasting perspective, expressing significant dissatisfaction with the community. This reviewer advises against placing a home in Loma Vista, citing concerns about the high price and suggesting it would be a waste of money compared to owning land. They express regret over their decision, stating that the monthly costs feel excessive. This perspective highlights potential concerns about the affordability and overall value proposition of residing in Loma Vista for some individuals.
Furthermore, the negative review raises concerns about the demeanor of some people within the community, stating that they are "very rude" and emphasizing this as a "fact." This suggests potential issues with neighborly relations or the overall social environment within the community, which could be a significant factor for prospective residents seeking a harmonious living experience.
The negative review also touches upon the topic of amenities, specifically mentioning the expectation that maintenance should handle lawn care given the perceived high cost of residency. The fact that residents are reportedly responsible for cutting their own grass is presented as a discrepancy between the cost and the services provided. Additionally, the reviewer expresses disappointment over the community pool being closed in July during a daughter's gathering with friends, describing it as "embarrassing." This suggests potential issues with the availability or maintenance of community amenities, which can impact the residents' quality of life and social activities.
Austin, Texas, is a desirable location for many, known for its vibrant culture, job opportunities, and natural beauty. However, the cost of living, particularly housing, can be a significant consideration. Manufactured home communities can sometimes offer a more affordable pathway to homeownership or long-term residency compared to traditional single-family homes, but the value proposition depends on various factors, including lot rental fees, community amenities, and management services.
For local users considering Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community as a potential living option, it's crucial to weigh both the positive and negative feedback. The positive review emphasizes respectful management and effective maintenance over a long period. In contrast, the negative review raises serious concerns about pricing, perceived rudeness within the community, and issues with amenity availability and expected services.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Loma Vista, prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence. This would involve contacting the management directly at (512) 862-0924 or +1 512-862-0924 to inquire about lot rental fees, community rules and regulations, the availability and maintenance of amenities (such as the pool, if it is a listed amenity), lawn care policies, and any other services provided. It would also be beneficial to ask about the average tenure of residents and any community events or initiatives that foster a positive social environment.
Visiting the property in person is highly recommended to assess the overall environment, the cleanliness and upkeep of the community grounds, and the condition of the available homes or lots. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond those who have left online reviews) could provide a more balanced and nuanced perspective on the day-to-day living experience at Loma Vista.
Considering the conflicting reviews, it's evident that experiences at Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community can vary significantly. Factors such as individual expectations regarding cost versus services, tolerance for community rules, and interactions with neighbors and management can all play a role in resident satisfaction. Therefore, a thorough personal investigation is essential for any prospective resident to determine if Loma Vista aligns with their individual needs and preferences.
While Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community is not an "RV park near me" in the traditional sense, it represents a residential community that may be of interest to those seeking long-term housing solutions in Austin. The positive feedback regarding the office staff and maintenance suggests a potentially well-managed property in certain aspects. However, the serious concerns raised about pricing, community atmosphere, and amenity issues warrant careful consideration and direct inquiry before making any decisions about residing there.
In conclusion, Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community in Austin, TX, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While some long-term residents have enjoyed their experience, others have expressed significant concerns about cost, community interactions, and amenities. Prospective residents should contact the management and visit the property to form their own informed opinion.

Loma Vista - Manufactured Home Community Reviews
After 7 yrs here, I have really enjoyed this place. The office staff has been nothing but very respectful. Maintenance on the property does a fantastic job.I really love it here.Ms Raquenelly and Mr Josh has a very challenging job trying to keep so many people on this property happy.I personally could not do that. It takes special kind of person in management to take care of all this on a every day basis. What a great job this office staff does.
Feb 20, 2025 · Randy RinehartPls don't place your home here the price is way high and you would be tossing your money away. Find land of your own .that was my biggest mistake . Now every mouth feels like it's too much. The people are very rude yes this is a fact . Mo ey in the trash . Resort lol we have to cut our own grass for the money being paid it should be cut by maintenance. My daughter had a gathering with some friends the pool was closed in July smh how embarrassing..
Feb 01, 2025 · Rod SopI never posted a review but I felt like this needed to be done. The process to move here is crazy. My husband basically had to do the sales lady job for one. Two weeks mentioned to her about the dirt being un leveled and there was patches or dirt. I didn’t think I would have to keep bothering about it but now there saying they can’t do nothing about it. After living here for ONLY 1 YEAR but rent went up $300 which is $900 just to rent out the dirt. Before these new owners came in rent was only $300-$400. But that’s not even the bad part they come in a golf cart everyday to TRY TO FIND ANYTHING to FINE you.The front office people have no communication skills what so ever. They are honestly so rude. FYI there’s sooooo many pot holes here they do not fix it properly. They will hire a 3rd party company who doesn’t even do a good job just so they can save money just so the pot hole becomes bigger than what it was.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER.
Aug 16, 2024 · Leticia GarciaWorst place to eveeeerrr live in. I usually don’t write reviews I think that’s mean. But this place deserves it. All they do is invade your space and try to find things they can fine you on. They love to take pictures of your things and pick and choose when they’ll fine you or not. Also WHO they fine. The people and management that work here are RUDE and have nothing better to do with themselves than to go around and find ways to make this “community/owner” money money money. The dumbest things will be fined insane amounts ! Once when I was looking at what they had JUST called us to fix from outside our house, one of them passed by in their golf cart and stared me down because I wouldn’t break eye contact either. It’s intimidating and rude and just plain annoying. For all the “rules and regulations” they have they should fix the entrances and put post lights up.Save yourself money and time , go somewhere else because I promise you they WILL find a way to fine you.
Aug 08, 2024 · Fatima CaballeroMaking my dad take off our window units just cause they don't want nothing on the window. Which is bullshit cause this house gets hot in the summer. Y'all are getting ridiculous 🤬
