Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities in Austin, Texas, Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community, located at 1401 E Rundberg Ln trlr 236, Austin, TX 78753, USA, warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," the available information primarily pertains to experiences related to mobile home residency and interactions with the community's management. Objective analysis of the provided reviews reveals potential environmental concerns, limitations regarding guest parking, and significant issues reported with the professionalism and communication of the management.
The environment at Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community is presented with a notable concern regarding wildlife, specifically a significant skunk population. One reviewer explicitly states, "too many skunks, it sucks having to wake up in the middle of the night to such horrible smell and then waking up to them as well." This suggests a pervasive and unpleasant environmental issue that could significantly impact the quality of life for residents and potentially RV guests. The reviewer also notes a perceived inconsistency in the enforcement of community maintenance rules, stating that while the office is "very strict with the community about maintenance," they do not adequately address the skunk problem. This discrepancy could lead to frustration among residents who are held to high standards while environmental nuisances are not effectively managed.
A significant limitation regarding services and features is the reported lack of guest parking. The same reviewer who mentioned the skunk problem also points out, "There is also no parking for guests." This absence of designated guest parking could create considerable inconvenience for residents who have visitors, potentially leading to parking conflicts within the community or forcing guests to park outside the premises. For those considering this location for RV stays, the availability of guest parking for accompanying vehicles would also be a crucial factor to consider.
The most concerning aspect highlighted in the provided reviews revolves around the professionalism and respect for time exhibited by the management, specifically the manager Laura. One detailed account from prospective residents, Sheri and Luis, outlines a highly negative experience during their attempt to move their home into the community. They scheduled an appointment with the Regional Manager, Kenny, and communicated their out-of-state travel plans to the on-site manager, Laura. Despite initial positive interactions and assurances of available lots, their experience upon arrival was deeply disappointing.
According to Sheri and Luis, after confirming their interest in a particular property, the manager Laura informed them that the lot already had an approval pending for the past 3 to 5 days, a crucial piece of information that was withheld until after the prospective residents had traveled from out of state and expressed their interest. This lack of transparency and the perceived waste of their time led to significant disappointment and raises serious questions about the manager's professionalism and consideration for potential residents. The reviewers explicitly question the justification of such actions.
The second brief review, "Very disrespected with our time," further corroborates the concerns regarding the management's handling of appointments and interactions with individuals. While lacking specific details, this comment aligns with the experience of Sheri and Luis, suggesting a potential pattern of behavior that prospective residents should be aware of.
Given that the reviews focus on negative aspects related to environmental issues and management practices, there is a lack of information regarding standard services and features typically found in mobile home and potentially RV communities. However, based on the address, it is located within Austin, suggesting access to city utilities. Typically, one might expect services such as:
- Individual lots for mobile homes with utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity).
- Potentially, designated RV sites with similar hookups, although this is not confirmed in the reviews.
- Waste disposal facilities for residents.
- Basic maintenance of common areas, although the skunk issue suggests potential shortcomings in this area.
- An on-site office and management, though the reported interactions raise concerns about the quality of service.
There is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers or incentives at Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community. Local users interested in this community, either for mobile home living or potential RV stays, would need to contact the management directly at (512) 836-4522 or +1 512-836-4522 to inquire about availability, rates, specific amenities, and policies, particularly regarding guest parking and pest control measures for issues like the skunk population. It would also be prudent to directly address the concerns raised in the reviews regarding management communication and professionalism.
In conclusion, Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community presents potential challenges for prospective residents and RV guests based on the limited but critical feedback available. The reported significant skunk problem and the lack of guest parking are environmental and logistical concerns that could impact the quality of living. More seriously, the accounts detailing unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the management, including the withholding of crucial information and the apparent disregard for the time and effort of prospective residents, raise red flags about the overall management and operational practices of the community. While the basic infrastructure of a mobile home park is likely in place, local users searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living in Austin should carefully weigh these negative reports and conduct thorough due diligence, including direct communication with the management to address the issues raised and assess whether the community meets their needs and expectations for a comfortable and respectful living environment.

Stonegate Austin Manufactured Home Community Reviews
too many skunks, it sucks having to wake up in the middle of the night to such horrible smell and then waking up to them as well. The office is very strict with the community about maintenance but they don’t keep up with this issue at all. There is also no parking for guests.
Nov 20, 2024 · Valerie MillerVery disrespected with our time.Kenny, the Regional Manager scheduled an appointment for us do to a request for guidance of moving our home into their community.Everything was scheduled andthe manager Laura, knew we were traveling from out of state. She informed us that she has a lot available to lease and invited us to tour the property yesterday. This morning Laura called us to inquire if we had a chance to see and visit the property and she wanted to confirm our appointment time with her.Upon arrival, in her office, she asked us if we liked the property and our response was Yes we are interested!!!.Immediately after our answer she informed us that the property has an approval and she is just waiting for the customers response. This was just unbelievable. She waited to even mention that the lot had a application already turned in for it 3 to 5 days ago.How can anyone justify the action of the manager?? We were Very disappointed!!!Sheri and Luis
Nov 18, 2021 · Luis GongoraI will give 10 stars if the management staff give more security service to the tenants and less wrecker services not being towing our automobiles, even from our own parking spots, on these days economy is affecting our people and is not fair some other persons is taking advantage of the humans in needs.
May 04, 2022 · lidia gonzalezThe amount of disrespect and advantage the towing company takes of the residents of this property is incredible. If you look forward to spending hundreds on towing fees monthlyThis is the place for you.We are currently in the process of preforming construction in our house and we needed to have a extra Vehicle to storage all the trash from the construction that was going to be dumped properly. The tow truck took both personal and the truck being used to collect the trash.Even though one of the trucks was parked legallyThey took BOTH!Not only is it impossible to find parking spots at this propertyBut neither of the trucks fit in any of the “visitors” parking spaces.Making it impossible to park anywhere else. The landlord/management needs to take responsibility for the unnecessary removal of the truck that was parked legally.
Jan 16, 2022 · Jessica Ortizit's predominantly a spanish-speaking community. All the residents are good-natured and extremely nice. The management is always on top of any problems. They're securityis always on ready to patrol whenever needed. They respond as promptly as possible.
