Mobile Home Haven Introduce
Searching for "RV parks near me" or a mobile home community in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas? Consider Mobile Home Haven, located at 11606 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78753, USA. While primarily operating as a mobile home park, it appears to also accommodate RVs, offering a unique living environment in North Austin. Based on the limited but positive customer reviews, Mobile Home Haven presents itself as a place with a friendly and supportive community, effective management, and recent improvements, suggesting potential for a comfortable and convenient living experience, even if it's acknowledged as a "diamond in the rough."
The environment at Mobile Home Haven is characterized by a relaxed and neighborly atmosphere. One reviewer describes it as a "great place to chill and relax with friends," indicating a social and comfortable setting. The mention of neighbors looking out for each other highlights a strong sense of community and mutual support among residents. This aspect can be particularly appealing for those seeking a close-knit living environment where residents feel connected and secure. While one review suggests it might not be the most polished or luxurious park, the emphasis on community and a relaxed vibe suggests a down-to-earth and welcoming atmosphere.
The management at Mobile Home Haven receives high praise, with the Manager being described as "good people" who "does whatever it takes to get the job or situation resolved satisfactorily." This speaks to a responsive and effective management style, crucial for addressing residents' concerns and ensuring the smooth operation of the park. The positive feedback about the manager instills confidence that residents and RV guests can expect their needs to be taken seriously and handled efficiently.
A significant positive aspect highlighted in the reviews is the addition of "recent amenities" and the management's "focus on people first attitude." This indicates an ongoing effort to improve the park and prioritize the comfort and well-being of its residents. The specific nature of these recent amenities is not detailed, but their positive reception suggests they contribute meaningfully to the quality of life within the park. This focus on people first suggests a management that is invested in creating a positive living experience for everyone.
One long-term resident's perspective, having lived in the park for over three years, offers a more nuanced view, describing it as "not too bad" and "definitely a diamond in the rough." This suggests that while the park may have some areas that could be improved, it possesses underlying positive qualities and potential. The fact that someone has resided there for an extended period indicates a level of satisfaction and comfort despite any perceived imperfections. The "diamond in the rough" descriptor implies that with ongoing improvements and attention, the park has the capacity to become an even more desirable living space.
Given its dual nature as a mobile home and potentially an RV park, the services and features likely include:
- Mobile Home Lots: Providing spaces for long-term mobile home residency with necessary utility hookups.
- RV Sites: Offering hookups for water, sewer, and electricity (amperage not specified) for RV проживание. The size and nature of these sites are not detailed.
- Utility Connections: Ensuring residents and RV guests have access to essential utilities.
- Management Services: Including on-site management to address resident needs, resolve issues, and oversee park operations.
- Potentially, Common Area Amenities: While not explicitly mentioned, many mobile home and RV parks offer shared facilities such as laundry rooms, communal spaces, or recreational areas. The "recent amenities additions" might fall into this category. Inquiring about specific amenities is recommended.
Currently, no specific promotional information or discounts are mentioned in the provided reviews. The positive feedback about the neighborly atmosphere and the "people first attitude" of the management suggests a supportive and comfortable place to reside. Jun 19, 2021 · B NDo not go here with children or dogs. There are older men who live there that will say inappropriate things to your little girls. Homeless people galore walking through park if you can even call it that. Some sites look like a shanty town. Broken beer bottles every where. Upon check-in we were told we would have a 50 amp site, arrived and not only is the site at minimum 20 slop but the power box has exposed wires and it's 30 amp, we found nails and screws all over the ground. We're moved to a second site that we barely fit in like inches to spare. I had to trim the tree so it would puncture our roof. When the manager was asked if the branches could go to the dumpster he said no but he would take care of it. Never happened. There are probably 20 stray cats running around the park that all sleep on the managers porch. The twelve page contract was a trip! They asked for a 500 deposit. Charged us over 200 for 2 weeks worth of electricity. Had agressive pit bulls and German shepherds allowed off leash who attempted to start fights with our dog. This place is a meth lab mobile home park trying to charge koa prices for. Some slopped together rv sites in the middle of a trashy part of town. Avoid at all costs.
Nov 27, 2022 · Katie GreenThis place is a historic part of north Austin.. been there for many years. Used to have a fire station up front but recently they relocated. It's a nice little place that's difficult to see but you been driving past it if you went North Lamar past Braker lane.. it's tucked there under huge trees sitting right on a creek at the very back. Used to be just a mobile home park but now they allow nice RV parking.. so drive thru it and check them out.. under new management.. I used to know the original creator and owner.. things have changed since then he was a craftsman and the mobile homes he had he did special touches to each of those one had solid beautiful wood work on floors, walls and ceiling.. I'm not sure how much of that is still there.Back in the day that was considered the edge of Austin and folks would say you live way up there.. lolLike I said it's been there forever.. a historic place
