Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa Introduce
For local residents seeking an elevated "rv parks near me" experience, Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa in Blairsville, Georgia, presents itself as an upscale option catering to both RV enthusiasts and those interested in tiny home living. Located at 136 Mountain Creek Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512, USA, this resort has garnered attention for its beautiful setting, adult-focused amenities, and a blend of permanent residents and rental opportunities. Potential visitors should consider both the positive aspects highlighted by some reviewers and the concerns raised by others to make an informed decision.
The environment surrounding Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa is frequently described as beautiful, offering great views of the mountains that characterize the North Georgia landscape. Blairsville is nestled in a region renowned for its scenic beauty, and the resort likely takes advantage of this picturesque setting to provide a tranquil and visually appealing backdrop for its guests. The presence of a creek running along the perimeter of the park adds to the natural charm, creating a potentially soothing and attractive environment for relaxation. The proximity to shopping and gas stations, as mentioned by one reviewer, also offers a degree of convenience for those staying at the resort.
Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa positions itself as an upscale destination with amenities geared towards adults. A significant highlight is the presence of a salt water pool and hot tubs, which have been described as fantastic by a reviewer. These amenities suggest a focus on relaxation and leisure for adult guests. The fact that the resort accommodates both RVs and tiny homes indicates a diverse range of accommodation options, catering to different preferences and potentially offering a unique community atmosphere. The mention of many full-timers suggests a well-established and potentially friendly long-term community within the resort, while the availability of rentals allows for both short and extended stays.
However, some reviews also point out potential drawbacks. One reviewer noted that while a beautiful creek runs along the park's perimeter, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated community access point for lots not directly on the water, which they felt was unfair. This suggests that while the natural environment is appealing, access to its features might be unevenly distributed within the resort.
Another reviewer who rented a cabin expressed dissatisfaction with its value and cleanliness, citing an ant infestation in the kitchen. While they acknowledged that the office responded by sending someone to spray for pests, they felt that pest control should be a routine part of preparing rental units. This raises concerns about the quality and maintenance of the rental accommodations. The same reviewer also mentioned "some strange rules," although no specifics were provided. This suggests that potential guests should inquire about the resort's policies and regulations to ensure they align with their expectations.
Given the mix of positive and negative feedback, it's important for local users considering Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa to weigh these aspects. The beautiful location and upscale adult amenities like the salt water pool and hot tubs are definite positives. The spaciousness of RV lots is implied by the "resort" designation, though not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. However, potential renters, particularly of the tiny homes or cabins, should be aware of the reported issues with value and pest control. Inquiring about the specific amenities available at RV sites versus rental units would also be prudent.
Promotional information is not included in the provided text. To learn about current rates, availability, and any special offers, local users should contact Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa directly at (706) 835-1111 or mobile phone at +1 706-835-1111. Asking about any seasonal promotions, discounts for local residents, or package deals that might be available is recommended. Additionally, inquiring about the specific rules and regulations of the resort, as well as the pest control measures in place for rental units, would be beneficial for prospective guests.
For local individuals seeking "rv parks near me" that offer an upscale experience with amenities tailored for adults in the scenic Blairsville, Georgia area, Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa presents a compelling option. The beautiful mountain views, salt water pool, and hot tubs are attractive features. However, potential guests should also consider the concerns raised in the reviews regarding the value and maintenance of rental units, as well as the potential uneven access to natural features like the creek. Direct communication with the resort management is crucial to obtain detailed information and address any specific concerns before making a reservation.

Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa Reviews
Upscale RV and tiny home resort. Beautiful place with great views of the mountains. Lots of full timers but can rent as well. Good shopping and gas nearby. Loved staying here!
Jul 07, 2024 · Ken BenedictWe are looking to relocate to possibly this area. The amenities are geared towards adults, and the salt water pool and hot tubs are fantastic. They have a beautiful creek that runs the perimeter of the park, yet they didn't save a spot for community use which plain isn't fair to all the lots not on the water. Now the cabin we rented wasn't really worth the money they charged. The first morning we got up and had brought donuts- left on the countertop overnight they were invaded by ants. Who likes to waist $$$$ . To say the least I was pretty mad.The office did respond and the owner got someone out to the cabin to spray for pest. But if you rent a place it should be something you get done automatically. They did seem to have some strange rules. Not sure if I could give it another chance.
Aug 17, 2023 · Jill HutchinsonSo we almost didn’t stay here based on other negative reviews. I’m glad we didn’t listen because we had a wonderful time. Let me be very clear though- this is NOT the place to party loud all night or let your kids roam unattended. Be sure to read the rules and expect to follow them. It is a quiet resort that takes pride in what it has built, and they should. They are clearly expanding their sites but we didn’t have any construction during our stay. Staff was above and beyond nice and helpful. We had a rainy weekend so put up a pop up canopy and were asked to take it down. Didn’t see that anywhere in the rules but we wanted to be respectful. They have fire pits there you can use at no additional charge. And free cable boxes if you don’t have satellite. Pool was on the small side but they are adding a second one in the next phase. Bottom line- be respectful and mature and you’ll have a wonderful experience. We did.
Jul 08, 2018 · Jessica GiancolaTop notch. No complaints, people were friendly. Beautiful pools and spa. Only complaint was that we had to bring our own wifi router and figure out how to get it set up on the outside power pole. Bought a $25 router at Walmart and once we found the right connections we had fantastic wifi from the CAT 5 connection on the pole box. Just would have been nice if the fellow who took us to our site could have stayed a minute and showed us how to hook it up. It is mostly owner occupied but no one had any issues with anything we did. Little chip and put golf, shuffle board and pickle ball all with supplied equipment. Jill in the office was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay even with 4 days of straight rain.
Jun 29, 2023 · Jim StilesExtremely disappointed in cabin 89. I paid $1469.00 for a 6 night stay in the most outdated and not well cared for cabin in the resort. Only dog friendly cabin unfortunately. These owners need to do some very serious updating on decor and supplies and furniture. Sofa smelled, bed Extremely uncomfortable, toilet seat did not fit the toilet, no place to put anything in bathroom, no place to put food, no iron or board provided. Seriously outdated decor that just didn't give us a mountain cabin appeal. I paid a Cleaning fee and the attached porch was so filthy we couldn't use it. Cobwebs and dirty. Not appealing at all. Chairs on porch were not suitable for adults. Only nice thing about this cabin was the swing and the creek behind it. We love Crossing Creeks but only the RV rental lots. Our next stay in Octobet will be Creekside Cabins in downtown Blairsville. And we may come back again in spring with our 5th wheel. Love everything about CCRVR accept for this Motel 6 style cabin. Owner really needs to update seriously if he's gonna charge 5 star prices. And make sure porch is cleaned and usable.
