Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park | Fort Pierce, FL Introduce
Located at 6547 US-1 in Fort Pierce, Florida, Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park presents itself as a residential community offering mobile home living. For individuals searching within the category of "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term or permanent living situation in the Fort Pierce area, Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park offers a mobile home living experience with significantly contrasting feedback from its residents. While primarily a mobile home park, those interested in extended stays in recreational vehicles may find it essential to contact the management directly to inquire about the possibility of RV accommodations, although the provided information does not explicitly confirm this and focuses on mobile home living.
The available reviews for Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park paint a starkly divided picture of the living conditions and management. One particularly critical review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, advising others not to believe any positive information they might find. This reviewer alleges severe issues, including a lack of a real swimming pool (suggesting that flooding is being misrepresented as such), a significant "RAT INFESTED" environment, and overflowing, fly-infested dumpsters that "Reak horrible" due to being emptied only once a week. Furthermore, they accuse the management of being unresponsive and unwilling to help residents, citing a two-year wait for a title and the necessity of hiring an attorney to resolve the situation. This review paints a dire picture of neglect and mismanagement within the park.
In stark contrast, another resident who lived in the park for a year offers a much more positive perspective. This reviewer acknowledges that the mobile homes are older but emphasizes that their condition is apparent before purchase. They highlight positive changes during their residency, noting that the landscaping improved from "nothing to beautiful." They also state that the management was "more than willing to fix" issues outside of individual trailers when contacted, explaining that interior work is typically the homeowner's responsibility due to insurance reasons. This resident was "very happy living there" and describes it as a "GREAT place for people to start out or to end up" and a "quite park too." They also mention being informed of past drug issues that were reportedly no longer present.
However, this more positive review also contradicts a potential advertisement, stating that claims of a "pool and clubhouse" are "not true." This discrepancy is important for prospective residents to note. On a positive community note, this reviewer highlights that the manager organizes holiday parties for children, including a visit from Santa Claus with gifts at Christmas, describing the community as "really unbelievable how caring and friendly everyone is" and "definitely a tight nit park." This suggests a strong sense of community spirit and caring among some residents and the manager, despite the other serious allegations.
Considering the "RV parks near me" category, the severely negative review, if accurate, would likely deter anyone seeking a temporary or long-term stay. The allegations of rat infestation, flooding, and overflowing waste are significant health and safety concerns. However, the contrasting positive review, emphasizing landscaping improvements and a caring community, might offer a glimmer of hope. Given the discrepancy and the serious nature of the negative claims, any RV owners considering Cypress Bay for an extended stay should exercise extreme caution and conduct a thorough personal inspection and investigation, including direct and detailed inquiries with the management about the issues raised in the negative review.
In terms of the environment, the reviews offer conflicting information. One describes a rat-infested environment with potential flooding and unsanitary waste disposal. The other notes significant improvements in landscaping and a quiet atmosphere. The truth likely lies somewhere in between or may vary depending on the specific location within the park. The claim of no pool or clubhouse contradicts potential advertisements and removes common amenities often sought by those in RV parks.
Regarding services and features, the negative review suggests unresponsive management and inadequate waste disposal. The positive review indicates willingness to address exterior maintenance issues and a caring manager who organizes community events for children. Essential utilities would be expected in a mobile home park, but their reliability is not discussed in detail. The absence of a pool and clubhouse, if confirmed, would be a significant lack of amenities.
Promotional information that might be found elsewhere claiming a pool and clubhouse should be disregarded based on a resident's direct contradiction. The positive aspects to consider, based on one review, are the improved landscaping, the quiet atmosphere, and the sense of community and caring, particularly towards children during holidays. However, these must be weighed against the serious allegations of infestation, flooding, and mismanagement.
To summarize the features and considerations based on the available information:
- Conflicting reports on the overall environment and management.
- Allegations of rat infestation, flooding in yards, and overflowing, unsanitary dumpsters.
- Accusations of unresponsive management and difficulties with obtaining a title.
- Contradictory report of significant landscaping improvements and a quiet park.
- Claim that there is no pool or clubhouse, despite potential advertising to the contrary.
- Report of a caring manager who organizes holiday events for children and a tight-knit community.
- Older mobile homes, with the understanding that buyers are informed of issues.
- Located in Fort Pierce, Florida, offering access to local amenities.
Significant missing information that potential residents would need to ascertain includes:
- The current state of pest control and waste management within the park.
- The accuracy of the flooding claims and any measures taken to mitigate water issues.
- The responsiveness of the current management to resident concerns.
- The status of property titles and the process for transferring them.
- The overall upkeep and maintenance standards across the entire park.
- Confirmation regarding the presence or absence of a pool and clubhouse.
- Policies regarding RVs and the availability of suitable spaces and amenities for recreational vehicles.
In conclusion, Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park in Fort Pierce, FL, presents a highly complex and potentially risky option for prospective residents, whether in mobile homes or RVs. The stark contrast between the two available reviews necessitates extreme caution and thorough investigation. The serious allegations of rat infestation, flooding, and unresponsive management in one review cannot be ignored, even with the positive aspects of landscaping improvements and community spirit described in the other. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or long-term residential options should contact the park management at (772) 275-1558 or +1 772-275-1558 with a detailed list of questions arising from these reviews and should insist on a thorough personal inspection of the property and its facilities before making any decisions. It would also be prudent to seek additional, more recent reviews from other residents to gain a broader and more current understanding of the living conditions at Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park.

Cypress Bay Mobile Home Park | Fort Pierce, FL Reviews
Don't believe what you read. There is no swimming pool unless you want to consider the flooding in your yard that they will take responsibility for. It's RAT INFESTED, big time. The dumpsters get emptied once a week, they are over flowing, fly INFESTED and they Reak horrible. The manager won't get off her behind to do anything to help the residents.... I have been waiting 2 years for my title so I can get our of this disgusting park... unfortunately I am being forced to hire an attorney...need I say more?
Feb 03, 2025 · Kathy KestelI lived there for a year. They steadily did nothing but work hard on making it a nicer place to live. The landscaping went from nothing to beautiful. Anytime you call and let the office know something is wrong, as long as it's not inside your trailer, they're more than willing to fix it. You own your trailer so because of insurance reasons they're not allowed to work inside your trailer. I understand that. I was very happy living there. Yes the mobile homes are older. But you look at them before you decide to buy them and you're told what the issues are so it's your decision if you want to take it on or not. I seen a couple trailers transformed by people after they purchased them. So if you ask me it's a GREAT place for people to start out or to end up. It's a quite park too. They told me way back they had a bunch of drug issues but they don't now. However i did see in the ad it says there's a pool and clubhouse. Those two things are not true. On every holiday the manager makes sure there's a party for all the kids. At Christmas, Santa Claus comes and brings every child gifts. It is really unbelievable how carrying and friendly everyone is. It's definitely a tight nit park. Kudo's to Regal Cypress Mobile Home Park ****

Jul 28, 2023 · Lisa BachanovThis is a great place for people to come that are starting over. They don't ask many questions and they are honest about the condition of the mobile home. Certainly, don't come expecting a place that doesn't need work because I think probably all the homes need some type of work. They have had tenants in the past that ran them down. However, I firmly believe that my hubbie and I will be able to make this our home. I can't wait to start the remodeling. They make the payments cheap enough so you can do that.
Feb 24, 2021 · Deena BakerTried to buy two trailers from this "up and coming" trailer community, over the past 2 weeks.-No one is ever in the office-Phone calls and emails are auto response-Makes appointments and does not keep themWe have been given nothing but the runaround.Waisted time and moneyNew MANAGEMENT is not trying to betteranything.Just go elsewhere
