Tanglewood Village Introduce
Welcome to Tanglewood Village, located at 1060 US-1 in Vero Beach, Florida. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community in the Vero Beach area, Tanglewood Village presents a location with both positive and negative feedback regarding its environment, services, and features. It's important for prospective residents and visitors to consider these varying perspectives to make an informed decision.
One reviewer shared a significantly negative experience at Tanglewood Village, citing concerns about the park's overall condition, perceived inconsistencies in management, and issues with rule enforcement. This reviewer described the park as "extremely run down" with the exception of homes where owners take pride. Specific complaints included alleged favoritism by the association, immediate write-ups for minor infractions without opportunity for explanation (such as a dog leash length and signage on a work vehicle, while similar situations were supposedly overlooked for others), and being cited for a parked box trailer overnight while others had trailers on their sites. The reviewer also described the dog park as a "storage lot," the pool restroom as an "outhouse," and noted the presence of what appeared to be black mold on some trailers, along with overgrown landscaping. Based on this account, this reviewer would not recommend staying at Tanglewood Village.
Conversely, another reviewer had a much more positive experience, stating, "This place was very nice and the manager and all the people we met were all extremely nice." This positive feedback highlights a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, particularly praising the manager and other residents encountered. This reviewer stayed in site 212, located towards the back of the campground, which they found preferable for being away from the main road, although they did note the presence of train noise. They also mentioned the availability of a "very nice heated pool and laundry room." While they noted the absence of a bathhouse, this was not an issue for them as they had full hookups at their RV site.
This second review also emphasized the advantageous location of Tanglewood Village, noting that "A lot to do in the area the Vero Beach area and Ft. Pierce are both really great scenic places to visit with nice beaches, shops and restaurants." This suggests that regardless of the on-site experience, Tanglewood Village benefits from its proximity to the natural beauty and amenities of the Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce regions, offering plenty of opportunities for recreation and exploration. The reviewer concluded by expressing their intention to visit the area and the park again.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it appears that Tanglewood Village offers some appealing features, such as a heated pool and a laundry room, and at least one guest found the manager and other people to be "extremely nice." The location also provides convenient access to the scenic Vero Beach area with its beaches, shops, and restaurants, which can be a significant draw for those looking for "RV parks near me" in a desirable location.
However, the concerns raised by the first reviewer regarding the park's condition, potential management inconsistencies, and the state of some amenities (dog park, pool restroom) should also be carefully considered. The mention of overgrown shrubbery and trees further suggests that the upkeep of the grounds might be inconsistent. The presence of train noise, noted by the second reviewer, is another factor that potential visitors or residents should be aware of, particularly if they are sensitive to noise.
Given the limited information available online, it is difficult to ascertain the current state of any promotional offers or specific details about RV site availability and amenities (beyond the heated pool and laundry room). For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" at Tanglewood Village, it would be prudent to contact them directly at (772) 567-9173 or +1 772-567-9173 to inquire about the types of RV sites available (e.g., full hookups), their sizes, rates, and any specific policies regarding pets, parking, and length of stay. It would also be wise to ask about the current condition of the park's amenities, such as the dog park and pool restrooms, and any recent improvements or maintenance efforts.
Similarly, for individuals interested in mobile home living at Tanglewood Village, contacting the management directly would be essential to inquire about the availability of mobile homes for sale or rent, the lot rental fees, community rules and regulations, and any homeowner association details. Understanding the management's approach to rule enforcement and community maintenance, as raised in the negative review, would be particularly important for prospective long-term residents.
Due to the conflicting feedback, a personal visit to Tanglewood Village might be beneficial for those seriously considering staying there, either in an RV or as a mobile home resident. This would allow you to assess the current condition of the park, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere firsthand. You could also potentially speak with current residents to gain a broader perspective on what it's like to be part of the Tanglewood Village community.
In conclusion, Tanglewood Village in Vero Beach, Florida, presents a location with potential benefits, such as a heated pool, laundry facilities, a reportedly nice manager, and proximity to the scenic Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce areas. However, potential visitors and residents should also be aware of concerns raised about the park's overall condition, potential inconsistencies in management, and the state of some amenities. The presence of train noise is another factor to consider. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home options in Vero Beach, direct contact with Tanglewood Village is recommended to gather current and detailed information to make an informed decision.

Tanglewood Village Reviews
With few exceptions of people who actually take pride in their homes, the place is extremely run down. The association seems to favor some while harassing others. We were there only two days when we had a write-up of our dogs leash being more than 6 feet. (Others used retractable leashes and were fine. ???) Shortly after, we were told that we had to take the signage off our work vehicle as no advertising was allowed. (Not once did we solicit work. New to Florida, this was our only advertisement.) There were other vehicles displaying company logos? We stayed here as we prepared to move into our home moving from Arizona. Making multiple trips to and from my husband returned late from one trip. He parked our box trailer and came to bed. The next morning, we had already been written up for having it on our site. Mind you, there were 3 other sites with box trailers parked. My husband wanted to go through the items in the trailer before taking it to storage. But not once were we able to explain this because we were written up right away without ever being questioned. Seriously, the very next morning I checked my email and had the notice. The so-called dog park is nothing more than a storage lot, and the restroom for the pool is an outhouse. Some trailers appear to have black mold growing on them. Most of the shrubbery and trees are overgrown and unkept. This is not a place that I would stay, much less call home.

Mar 28, 2022 · Penny VidlerTanglewood is a great little place in Vero beach! It's close to the beach and shopping is within walking distance. There are homes as well as RVs here. The permanent residents are kind, welcoming, and helpful. This is our 2nd visit here and we love it!
Dec 15, 2022 · MicheleWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tanglewood Village especially the heated swimming pool. Booth and Susie were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.
Feb 04, 2025 · Kim ElgQuiet, great location, nice people, & although there's no electronic amenities, there is access to Xfinity for the long termers that can provide streaming. It's our 2nd year here for the winter, & we really like it.
