Cypress Lake RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Orange, Texas area, Cypress Lake RV Park, located at 537 E Lutcher Dr, Orange, TX 77632, USA, presents itself as a small, potentially adult-oriented option with appealing natural surroundings and convenient access to transportation. Situated on East Lutcher Drive, the park appears to offer a tranquil environment with scenic views, although the specifics of these views are not detailed. The park's small size suggests a more intimate and possibly less crowded atmosphere compared to larger RV parks. However, it is crucial to consider all available information, including customer feedback, to form a comprehensive understanding of what Cypress Lake RV Park offers.
One customer review describes Cypress Lake RV Park as "Quiet, beautifully kept small RV park with beautiful views." This positive feedback highlights several key aspects of the park. The emphasis on it being "quiet" aligns with the desire of many RV travelers seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay. The description of being "beautifully kept" suggests that the park management takes pride in maintaining the grounds and facilities, contributing to a pleasant aesthetic for visitors. The mention of "beautiful views" indicates that the park's location may offer scenic vistas, potentially involving the namesake Cypress Lake or other natural features of the area. This could be a significant draw for those who appreciate natural beauty and a serene environment during their travels.
The same positive review also notes the "Easy access to the interstate," which is a significant advantage for travelers who are passing through the area or plan to explore the surrounding region. Proximity to major transportation routes simplifies navigation and reduces travel time to nearby attractions, services, and other destinations. This convenience makes Cypress Lake RV Park a potentially attractive stop for both overnight stays and longer visits for those working or exploring in the vicinity of Orange, Texas.
However, the positive review also points out a notable limitation: "The only downside is no laundry facility." The absence of on-site laundry can be a significant inconvenience for RV travelers, especially those on extended trips, as it necessitates finding and using external laundromats. This is an important factor for potential guests to consider based on their individual needs and the duration of their intended stay.
In contrast to the positive feedback regarding the park's ambiance and location, another customer review presents a serious concern regarding the park's policies towards families with children. This review recounts a negative phone interaction where the reviewer's husband inquired about an RV spot and, upon mentioning they had two children, was allegedly told, "yea that's not gonna work we don't do kids here, good luck buddy," followed by the phone being hung up. The reviewer expresses strong disapproval of this alleged interaction, regardless of the park's business model. This account, if accurate, suggests a potentially exclusionary policy regarding children at Cypress Lake RV Park. It is important for potential guests, particularly those traveling with families, to be aware of this reported experience.
The reviewer who reported the negative interaction also mentions that their friends and coworkers, who are in the area for new construction projects and seeking RV parking, would be informed of this alleged policy. This indicates that the park's reported stance on children could potentially impact its occupancy rates, especially among those working in the region who may be traveling with their families.
Based on the limited information and the conflicting customer feedback, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the services and features of Cypress Lake RV Park beyond the noted absence of laundry facilities. Typically, RV parks offer essential utility hookups at each site, including electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp), water, and sewer connections. Given the "beautifully kept" description, it can be inferred that the park likely maintains these basic services to a reasonable standard. However, without more details, it is unknown whether the park offers additional amenities such as restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi access, recreational areas, or pet-friendly facilities.
The mention of "beautiful views" suggests that some sites within the park might offer scenic vistas, potentially overlooking Cypress Lake or other natural landscapes. This could be a significant feature for those who value picturesque surroundings during their RV stays. The small size of the park might contribute to a more peaceful and less crowded experience, which can be appealing to certain travelers.
No promotional information is provided for Cypress Lake RV Park in the available text. RV parks sometimes offer discounts for extended stays, seasonal rates, or other incentives to attract guests. To inquire about any potential promotions or specific rates, interested local users would need to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (409) 288-9006 or +1 409-288-9006.
For local users in the Orange, Texas area searching for "RV parks near me," Cypress Lake RV Park presents a mixed picture based on the limited information. On one hand, it is described as a quiet and beautifully maintained park with scenic views and easy interstate access. On the other hand, a significant concern has been raised regarding a reported exclusionary policy towards children, and a notable amenity, laundry facilities, is absent. Potential guests should weigh these factors carefully based on their individual needs and travel circumstances. Those traveling without children and who prioritize a quiet, scenic environment with easy access to the interstate might find Cypress Lake RV Park appealing, provided they are comfortable with the lack of on-site laundry. However, families traveling with children should be aware of the reported policy and may need to seek alternative accommodations.
In conclusion, Cypress Lake RV Park in Orange, Texas, offers a potentially tranquil and visually appealing setting with convenient interstate access. However, the lack of laundry facilities and a concerning report regarding a policy against children are critical factors that potential local users must consider. It is strongly recommended that interested individuals contact the park directly to clarify their policies and inquire about the availability of services and amenities to ensure it meets their specific requirements before making a reservation.

Quiet, beautifully kept small RV park with beautiful views. Easy access to the interstate. The only downside is no laundry facility.
Sep 24, 2024 · Edward SchmidtHusband called yesterday to ask about an RV spot.. when we said we had 2 kids the man on the phone said "yea that's not gonna work we don't do kids here, good luck buddy " and hung up the phone. I don't care what kind of business you run.. that's NOT how you handle customers. He didn't even ask how old our kids were. All of our friends and coworkers who are currently down in this area for new construction projects, and looking for a place to park, will be passing this information along :)

Sep 30, 2019 · James ridingsGreat place for RVs, and Stan gives a fantastic airboat tour in the swamps around the park to see the wildlife and alligators. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stop over near the Texas/Louisiana border.
May 19, 2022 · TomThe r v park is literally off of I 10. It sits on property that is owned by a air boat 🚣 maker. The place is great if you don't care about highway noise all night long. The roads need to be graded pot holes will swallow your r v. The girl was helpful in telling you which site out of the 7 or so spaces they have. It does have fishing 🎣 behind the r v.s but not worth staying at for 35 a night. Not recommended if wal mart is closer.
