Desert Vista Place 99thAve & Desert Cove Introduce
When searching for housing or considering different types of residential communities in Peoria, Arizona, you might come across options like "RV parks near me" for short-term stays or while exploring the area. Desert Vista Place (99th Ave & Desert Cove), located at 11275 W Desert Cove Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345, USA, is a mobile home park that offers a different type of long-term living arrangement. While not an RV park, understanding the nature and community aspects of such residential areas can be helpful for anyone considering a move to Peoria.
One detailed review provides a firsthand account of a visitor's experience at Desert Vista Place. This individual was visiting a family friend who resides within the community and spent time with them at the clubhouse, specifically using the hot tubs. The group included children aged between 6 and 10. According to posted signs at the clubhouse, the pool area was stated to remain open until 10:00 PM. The visitors recounted that they were preparing to leave at approximately 9:57 PM, well before the stated closing time. However, upon attempting to exit the gates using a key card, they found that the gate would not open.
The review further describes the subsequent interaction with the property manager. After the visitors had to ask a resident to contact the manager, they were met with what they perceived as rude behavior. Despite the visitors apologizing for any misunderstanding regarding the key card and the time, and attempting to explain that the doors had locked them in before the advertised closing time, the manager reportedly accused them of lying. The reviewer quotes the manager as saying, "you should be an adult enough to leave on time than and learn to look at OUR clock on the wall," followed by a sarcastic remark about potentially wanting to "stay out partying all night." The visitor expressed feeling that this behavior was "so uncalled for," especially considering that there was no indication to rely on a specific "clock on the wall" for closing times.
A significant concern raised in the review is the apparent lack of an emergency exit at the community clubhouse. The visitor stated that they had "never been so disrespected by a property manager of any community before" and emphasized that it is the manager's responsibility to address such situations, even if it requires being called after hours. While acknowledging that they were sorry for any inconvenience caused by having to contact the manager, the reviewer felt that the manager's response was unprofessional and unwelcoming. The primary purpose of sharing this experience was to "warn others of what kind of hospitality you will be receiving here at Desert Vista." This paints a picture of potentially challenging interactions with the management.
Another piece of feedback from a different individual addresses a navigational issue. They noted that "Google maps had this place incorrect" and provided a correction, stating, "Keep driving on Desert Cove until ot dead ends into this mobile home park." This suggests that prospective visitors or residents should be aware that online mapping services might not provide the most accurate directions to Desert Vista Place and should follow the described route on Desert Cove Avenue until it terminates at the park's location.
Considering these reviews, the environment at Desert Vista Place appears to be a standard mobile home park setting. However, the reported interaction with the property manager raises concerns about the community's hospitality and responsiveness to visitor issues. While the park itself might offer a residential setting for those seeking mobile home living, the negative experience described could be a significant factor for anyone considering visiting or residing there.
Information regarding specific services and features of Desert Vista Place is limited based on the provided reviews. Typical mobile home parks often offer basic amenities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for the mobile homes, as well as common areas which might include a clubhouse, laundry facilities, and possibly recreational amenities like a pool or hot tub (as mentioned in the negative review). However, the experience at the hot tub area suggests potential issues with access and management of these facilities.
There is no promotional information available in the provided text. Therefore, it is not possible to comment on any special offers or incentives that Desert Vista Place might be providing to attract residents.
In conclusion, while Desert Vista Place (99th Ave & Desert Cove) is a mobile home park located in Peoria, Arizona, the available reviews present a mixed picture. One review highlights a significant issue with the property manager's attitude and handling of a situation involving locked gates at the clubhouse after hours. This negative experience could deter potential residents or visitors. Another review points out an inaccuracy in online mapping, which might make it difficult to locate the park initially. Individuals considering this location for long-term living should weigh these points carefully and potentially seek further information or firsthand experiences from current residents to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the community and its management.

Desert Vista Place 99thAve & Desert Cove Reviews
I have a close family friend who is a resident here in this community and we went to visit them to spend some time together in the hot tubes and had our children with us between ages of 6 to 10.The signs for the club house say the pool area reminds open till 10 pm. We spent about an hour or so there and when we looked at our clocks we realized 10 minutes to 10 pm we had to go.. when heading to leave at 9:57pm to the gates we used the key card and the gate would not open. We tried the key card several times and it still would not open. We had to go have someone get the manager of the property and she was beyond rude even when walking up to greet us. we all apologized for the misunderstanding of the card and time, and attempted to explain that the doors locked us in before 10 pm. She accessed us of being Lairs and had made a comment " you should be an adult enough to leave on time than and learn to look at OUR clock on the wall", followed by a statement of "you sure you didn't want to stay out partying all night and just lost time " . it was so uncalled for of her to say.. yet no where does it say to follow the clock on the wall to know when to leave. There needs to be some kind of emergency exit in this community club house .. I have never been so disrespected by a property manager of any community before like we did. It's her JOB to come if things like this happen. we were all very sorry for making her have to get out of bed but as a property manager these are things that sometimes happen. I just want to warn others of what kind of hospitality you will be receiving here at Desert Vista.
