DOUBLE "C" RV PARK Introduce
For our users in Singapore exploring the platform category of "RV parks near me" with potential future travel plans in the United States, it's helpful to understand the spectrum of RV park offerings, from luxurious resorts to more basic, functional campgrounds. DOUBLE "C" RV PARK, located at 194 Faulkner Rd, Commerce, GA 30529, USA, appears to fall into the latter category, providing essential services for travelers, particularly those passing through the area. Recent customer reviews offer insights into its environment, services, and features, albeit with a focus on its practicality over extensive amenities.
One reviewer succinctly describes DOUBLE "C" RV PARK as "Basic, basic, basic." This immediately sets expectations for a no-frills experience, likely focusing on essential hookups and a place to park for the night. The same reviewer also notes "Tight spot," suggesting that campsites might be close together, potentially limiting space and privacy. This is a practical consideration for RV owners, especially those with larger rigs or slide-outs, as maneuverability and setup space can be important factors when choosing an "RV park near me."
The observation that the park is "Mostly long-term campers" provides further context about the community atmosphere. A park with a significant number of long-term residents can sometimes have a different feel compared to those primarily catering to short-term travelers. It might be quieter and more settled, but it could also lack some of the resort-style amenities or activities geared towards tourists. However, the reviewer also points out a significant positive: "That said, quiet at night," which is a crucial factor for many travelers seeking a peaceful rest after a long day on the road.
An additional benefit mentioned by the same reviewer is "a very good Mexican restaurant next door." The proximity of a dining option can be a significant convenience, especially for those who prefer not to cook every meal while traveling. Having a highly-rated restaurant within easy walking distance adds value to the location, even if the RV park itself is basic. The reviewer concludes with "So, just passing through. It works," reinforcing the idea that DOUBLE "C" RV PARK serves as a functional and adequate option for overnight stays or short stopovers.
Another brief but positive review highlights a sense of community or helpfulness among the residents: "One of the residents helped me find my drone wen it fell over there." This small anecdote suggests a friendly and neighborly environment, where fellow campers are willing to assist each other. While not directly related to the park's facilities, a positive community atmosphere can contribute significantly to a pleasant stay, even in a more basic setting.
Considering the environment of DOUBLE "C" RV PARK based on these reviews, the term "Basic, basic, basic" suggests a utilitarian setting without elaborate landscaping or scenic views. The "Tight spot" description implies a potentially compact layout with limited space between campsites. However, the "quiet at night" aspect is a significant environmental positive for those prioritizing rest. The proximity to a "very good Mexican restaurant" also enhances the local environment from a convenience standpoint.
In terms of services, the reviews do not explicitly detail the amenities offered by DOUBLE "C" RV PARK. However, as a functional RV park catering to both transient and long-term campers, it likely provides essential hookups for water, electricity, and sewer at each site. Given the "basic" description, it may not offer extensive services such as a pool, clubhouse, laundry facilities, or Wi-Fi, or if these exist, they might be more rudimentary. The fact that one reviewer mentioned being "just passing through" suggests that the basic necessities for an overnight stay are likely available. To get a comprehensive list of services, direct contact with the park would be necessary.
The features of DOUBLE "C" RV PARK, based on the limited information, seem to be its functionality for short stays, its quiet nighttime atmosphere, and its proximity to a well-regarded Mexican restaurant. The presence of long-term residents could be seen as a feature contributing to a stable and perhaps more secure environment. The helpfulness of a resident in assisting another camper also suggests a positive community aspect, although this is anecdotal. The "basic" nature of the park implies a focus on essential needs rather than recreational or luxury features.
No promotional information is included in the provided reviews. To learn about current rates, availability, and any specific policies or discounts, interested parties would need to contact DOUBLE "C" RV PARK directly using the provided phone numbers – (706) 255-5585 or mobile +1 706-255-5585. Given its description as a functional stopover, it's possible that their pricing is competitive for the basic services offered.
For local users in Singapore exploring "RV parks near me" for potential future travels through Georgia, DOUBLE "C" RV PARK in Commerce presents itself as a straightforward option for those prioritizing a quiet night's sleep and the convenience of a nearby dining choice over extensive amenities or spacious campsites. The park appears to cater to both short-term travelers and long-term residents, fostering a potentially helpful community. However, the "basic" nature and "tight spots" are important considerations for RV owners to keep in mind, particularly those with larger vehicles. Direct communication with the park management would be advisable to confirm the availability of essential services and the suitability of their sites for specific RV sizes.
In conclusion, DOUBLE "C" RV PARK in Commerce, Georgia, offers a basic and functional option for RVers, particularly those needing a quiet overnight stop. While campsites may be tight and the amenities are likely minimal, the park benefits from a peaceful nighttime environment and the convenience of a "very good Mexican restaurant" located next door. The helpfulness of a resident suggests a potentially positive community aspect. For travelers seeking a no-frills, practical place to park and rest while passing through the area, DOUBLE "C" RV PARK "works." However, those seeking more spacious sites or extensive amenities may need to look at other options within the "RV parks near me" category.

Aug 31, 2019 · jdke taDon’t stay here if you have a pet. People stay here with their dogs and they do not keep them on leashes. The owner has been told and STILL they continue to let people stay there without enforcing the leash law! Very dangerous if you have a pet and are a responsible pet owner. I have seen some people stay here with 3 dogs and let them all out at the same time WITHOUT being controlled with a leash! If you want to protect your family and your pets, don’t go here!In response to the owner: I’m not sure what you’re referring to when you say the same person. If anything, can you explain/comment as to why you don’t enforce the leash law and why others who have pets that come to visit your RV park have to be cautious while having our pets there because you choose not to enforce it? Also, what about those who are traveling and vacationing with their families? What about the children being protected from other people’s pets?
