The environment at Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort is consistently lauded for its spaciousness and cleanliness. Situated in Lake City, a region known for its natural springs, rivers, and outdoor recreational opportunities in North Central Florida, the resort offers a pleasant and comfortable setting. The most prominent environmental feature highlighted by guests is the generous size of the RV lots. This allows for ample space between rigs, contributing to a sense of privacy and openness that is highly valued by many RVers. Beyond the individual sites, the common areas and facilities, including laundry facilities, restrooms, and the clubhouse, are meticulously maintained and kept clean. The resort's layout also incorporates walking trails, providing opportunities for residents to enjoy the natural surroundings and stretch their legs. The overall atmosphere conveyed by reviews is one of pride in ownership and a commitment to providing a top-quality environment for all guests, from the individual sites to the communal spaces.
Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort offers an extensive array of services and features designed to enhance the RV experience. For standard RV sites, full hookups are typically provided, ensuring convenient access to water, electricity (implied by the full hookup context), and sewer. While not all sites may be full hookup at all times, as evidenced by the hurricane evacuation scenario where boondocking was offered, the resort's flexibility and willingness to accommodate diverse needs stand out as a key service. A critical service for modern travelers is Wi-Fi, which the resort explicitly provides, allowing guests to stay connected. The resort caters to families with children by offering a dedicated playground, ensuring entertainment for younger guests. For those traveling with pets, a designated park for "fur babies" is a significant amenity, highlighting the resort's pet-friendly policy. On-site laundry facilities and restrooms are available and consistently praised for their cleanliness and maintenance, offering convenience for all guests. The clubhouse area serves as a central gathering point, likely equipped with various amenities for social interaction and relaxation. Each lot comes equipped with a picnic table and a burn pit, adding value and convenience for outdoor enjoyment. Furthermore, the resort allows approved fencing and storage sheds on lots, a flexible policy that caters to full-time RVers seeking to personalize their space and maximize storage. The presence of a pool offers a refreshing amenity, especially during Florida's warmer months.
The standout features of Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort, based on customer testimonials, are numerous. The "huge" RV lots are a major draw, providing unparalleled space compared to many other parks. The high quality of management and ownership is repeatedly emphasized; guests describe the "owners and managers are fantastic and ready to help in any way," and note that "the employees are very nice and accommodating." This hands-on, supportive approach to guest relations creates a welcoming and helpful environment. The fact that it is a "family owned park" and that "you can tell they take pride in it" speaks volumes about the dedication to guest satisfaction and park maintenance. The inclusion of amenities such as a playground, a pet park, walking trails, a pool, clean laundry facilities, and spotless restrooms indicates a comprehensive approach to guest comfort and recreation. The provision of a picnic table and burn pit at every lot further enhances the outdoor living experience. The flexibility to allow approved fencing and storage sheds on individual lots caters specifically to the needs of full-time RVers, offering a sense of permanence and customization not always found in other parks. The resort's willingness to assist guests during stressful situations, such as offering boondocking during a hurricane evacuation at a reasonable price, demonstrates exceptional customer service and empathy, leaving a lasting positive impression on guests like the one who praised "Becky" for being "so sweet and helpful."
Promotional information for Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort would heavily leverage the overwhelmingly positive feedback from its guests. The primary promotional message would highlight its status as "the best RV park we've ever parked at," backed by the tangible benefits of "huge" lots and "fantastic" owners and managers. The comprehensive amenities package, including a pool, playground, pet park, walking trails, and clean facilities, would be central to attracting diverse groups of RVers – families, pet owners, and those seeking an active outdoor lifestyle. The flexibility in accommodating various types of stays, from short-term camping to full-time residency with options for fencing and storage sheds, is a significant promotional point. The resort's ability to offer compassionate assistance during emergencies, as demonstrated during Hurricane Milton, would resonate strongly with potential guests looking for a reliable and caring management team. Its location in Lake City, providing access to North Central Florida's natural attractions, could also be integrated into promotional materials, appealing to adventurers and nature lovers. The overall theme would be one of a high-quality, family-owned, and guest-centric RV resort that offers an exceptional experience for all types of RVers, making it a compelling choice for anyone searching for "RV parks near me."

Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort Reviews
We've lived full time in our rv and have been all over the country, and i can honestly say this is the best rv park we've ever parked at. The owners and managers are fantastic and ready to help in any way. The lots are huge. Nice and clean laundry facilities, restrooms, and club house area. They also provide wifi, a playground for the kids, a park for your fur babies, walking trails to enjoy, and lets not forget the pool. Every lot comes with a picnic table and a burn pit. They allow approved fencing and storage sheds on your lot of you need.
Mar 11, 2025 · Jacque RionMy family and I live in an RV full time. We needed to evacuate for hurricane Milton. This park did not have any full hookup sites available, however, they were gracious enough to allow us to park in an open grassy area and boondock for as long as we needed at a very reasonable price. We had access to water to fill our fresh tank as well as access to the showers and laundry. The park and facilities are very clean and well taken care of. The employees are very nice and accommodating. This is a family owned park and you can tell they take pride in it. I'm sorry I had to find this place in a stressful situation but I am glad that I know where to camp if I am ever back in this area. I highly recommend this place. And a special thank you to Becky for being so sweet and helpful ❤️
Oct 11, 2024 · Shelby HopkinsWe were just going full time in our RV and wanted to travel south for the winter. We were told by the RV campground in Georgia about a friend of theirs in FL that had opened a campground and that we should contact Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort.I called and was told they would get back with me in a couple of days. The next day DND called and said they had a place for us. We scheduled the move and were thrilled to go to DND.The staff was great to do business with and were very accommodating. The park was clean, well-kept and huge RV spaces. Many of them were fulltime RV lots, but they were well- kept, and the park has rules to allow outside storage for permanent residents. There were approx. 8-10 spaces for overnight/short term RV stays. These were easy to enter and leave (we have a 43' motorhome and flat tow). Sites have recycled asphalt for the RV/auto and plenty of grass between the unheard of 40' X 80' individual sites. The sites around the RV are grass and you do have to contend with some sand wanting to follow you into your RV. It is not bad, just a fact of Florida. Every site was fairly level, and we had no problem leveling. The bottom line is Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort was a great place for us to camp. We loved the campground and would highly recommend it to anyone that needed a short or longer stay. Life took a turn and we had to leave before we originally had planned to. I called the office and they were very accommodating our early departure. God willing, we will be traveling to Dreamin N Driftin RV Resort again.
Jan 31, 2025 · Paul ChapmanWas only there 1 night but will go back again next time we are traveling in area. Nice roomy sights. Friendly and helpful operators. Loved the food truck being there. Saved us from having to go out for dinner after a day on the road.
Nov 19, 2024 · Pamela PoagDo not waste your time on the other parks in the area like I did! Called Mister Bobby up after driving to 2 other parks that would not accommodate my trailer, he was so kind and said he would be glad to have us and see us when we got here! He met us when we came in and helped us park! This park is massive, your space is massive, the owners are beyond awesome! Nice little community, it's quiet for how many people are here! They opened early to accommodate and I see a lot of complaining about the park not being 100% complete, that's no fault of the owners and they have done nothing but make us all feel welcome and at home!!
