1075 RV Resort Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lake City, Florida area and prioritize a quiet location with essential hookups, 1075 RV Resort, situated at 108 NW Bengi Ln, might be a consideration. However, it's crucial to be aware of the limited amenities reported by recent visitors to make an informed decision.
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of 1075 RV Resort is its peaceful environment. Multiple reviewers describe the park as "quiet," suggesting a tranquil setting that may appeal to those seeking a more relaxed and less bustling atmosphere. Additionally, one guest noted that "people there are decent," indicating a potentially respectful and considerate community of fellow campers.
Another potential advantage of 1075 RV Resort is its convenient location. One reviewer specifically mentioned that the park is within "walking distance to grocery and good Mexican food." This accessibility to nearby services and dining options can be a significant benefit, offering convenience for everyday needs and local exploration without the need for extensive travel.
In terms of the physical setup, the reviews indicate that with your rental at 1075 RV Resort, you can expect a "gravel spot" and a designated place for trash disposal. The sites also offer hookups, as one reviewer mentioned their "50 amp did not work (space17), but we were fine with 30 amp," suggesting the availability of at least 30-amp electrical service, along with presumably water and sewer connections. The park is also described as "easy to get to from highway," which can be a significant plus for travelers seeking convenient access to and from major routes.
However, the most prominent and concerning feedback from recent reviews pertains to the severe lack of amenities at 1075 RV Resort. Multiple reviewers explicitly state the absence of several common campground facilities. These include: "No amenities at all," "No dog park," "No Showers," "No office," "No clubhouse," "No Bathrooms," and "No laundry facilities." This comprehensive list indicates that the park currently offers very basic services, primarily focusing on providing a site with utility hookups.
The discrepancy regarding a dog park is particularly noteworthy. One reviewer pointed out, "There is no dog park like their website says, promise after promise for amenities and they still haven’t showed up." This suggests potential inaccuracies in the park's online advertising and a history of unfulfilled promises regarding the development of amenities. This lack of follow-through on planned facilities could be a significant disappointment for potential guests who rely on such amenities.
Furthermore, the same reviewer expressed concern that the "Owner is more concerned about expanding and adding more spaces than providing what current occupants need." This sentiment raises questions about the park management's priorities and their commitment to the comfort and needs of existing guests. The focus on expansion without addressing the lack of basic amenities could be a point of frustration for those currently staying at the resort.
One reviewer summarized the situation starkly: "With your rental you get a gravel spot and a place to throw your trash away. I mean if that works for, they hey this place is great. Otherwise, I’d steer clear." This honest assessment highlights the fundamental nature of the offering at 1075 RV Resort. It caters to a specific type of traveler who is self-sufficient and primarily needs a basic site with hookups in a quiet location, without the expectation of additional facilities.
Given the strong emphasis on the lack of amenities in the recent reviews, it is essential for potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" to understand that 1075 RV Resort currently operates as a very basic campground. While it offers a quiet environment and convenient access to some nearby services, it does not provide the common amenities that many RVers expect, such as restrooms, showers, laundry, or recreational facilities like a dog park.
There is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers or discounts at 1075 RV Resort. To inquire about current rates, availability, long-term stay options, or any potential future plans for amenity development, interested individuals should contact the park directly at (386) 365-6142 or +1 386-365-6142. They will be able to provide the most up-to-date information about the park and its offerings.
In conclusion, 1075 RV Resort in Lake City, Florida, offers a quiet and conveniently located option for RVers who prioritize a peaceful setting and proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. The park provides basic gravel sites with utility hookups. However, based on recent customer feedback, it currently lacks essential amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a dog park, despite potential past indications otherwise. Potential guests should be aware of these limitations and consider if the quiet environment and basic services meet their needs. Contacting the park directly is recommended for the most current information on rates and any future developments.

Jan 16, 2025 · Trucker HillNice quiet park, walking distance to grocery and good Mexican food. No amenities. Our 50 amp did not work (space17), but we were fine with 30 amp. Easy to get to from highway.
Dec 15, 2024 · jan faganNice little park, quiet and great for overnight stop. No amenities of any kind other than full hook ups. No bathrooms or showers. Wish google let you split stars deserves more than 4 but not a 5. Would stay again.
May 01, 2024 · Tammy GardnerGreat little stop over! Convenient location, easy pull-throughs with plenty of room for big rvs/trailers and surprisingly quiet for being close to main road. It appears to very new, but you can see they're hard at work. Will get prettier and more private as the landscaping matures. Nice stop-over. We'd stop again.
Mar 08, 2024 · C SThe grounds/layout is beautiful. BUT there is no office to check in at, not pool, dog park or fire pits yet but was not misled by the internet coming soon, posted on the site which simply means they do not have any yet. The park looks nothing like any of the pictures on the website which may be a little confusing if you are not from the area. These pictures were taken around the area which is truly gorgeous. Don’t mind paying the price because of convenience and our current situation. And we weren’t looking for a pool, fire pit or dog park but called one of the owners because it does say to check in at the office upon arrival. There was no office to check in at. They are in the process of going fully online. We don’t care about the amenities but others traveling away from home may be looking for that refreshing pool or a dog park for their pups or a relaxing fire at the end of the day. So just beware, those things may be coming, but they are not here yet. The owners Brent and Brandan are very effective communicators, and always called back as promised. Because of their dedication to the consumer they will go far once they become fully established. As a full time traveler the past 4 years, we have been pretty disappointed by advertisement vs what the property actually has available at the time. Updating this sites is very important to let folks know exactly what services and perks are actually available or those that are not available as advertised.. We would stay here again but for the same money we can get more for our buck in the same surrounding area. Just depends on what you are ahopping for. Best wishes to the owners! Thank you for our stay.
