Economy Overnight Park Introduce
For our users in Singapore planning potential RV travels in the United States and searching through the 'RV Parks Near Me' platform, we present an overview of Economy Overnight Park, located at 1180 Lee Hwy, Roanoke, Virginia, USA. While geographically distant, understanding the characteristics of various RV parks can be valuable for future travel considerations. Economy Overnight Park appears to be a no-frills, budget-friendly option that prioritizes essential services and hospitality, as indicated by recent customer reviews.
Based on the available user reviews, the environment of Economy Overnight Park is described as a "small lot of mostly long term" residents. This suggests that the park might not be set within extensive natural surroundings or offer large, sprawling grounds typically found in resort-style RV parks. Instead, it seems to be a more compact and functional space primarily catering to overnight stays and potentially longer-term residents. However, one reviewer noted that the park is situated within the "beautiful region" of Roanoke, Virginia. This implies that while the park itself might be focused on practicality rather than aesthetics, it provides a convenient base for exploring the natural attractions and scenic beauty of the surrounding area. Roanoke is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, known for their stunning vistas, hiking trails, and outdoor recreational opportunities. Therefore, while the park might be an "economy scenario," its location offers access to a rich and diverse regional environment for those looking to explore beyond the immediate RV park.
The services offered at Economy Overnight Park, as highlighted by user reviews, focus on the essentials for RV travelers. The park provides "full hook ups," which typically include connections for water, sewer, and electricity (specifically mentioned as even having 50 amps). This is a significant advantage for RVers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay by allowing them to utilize all their onboard systems. One reviewer also mentioned the availability of a "coin washer/dryer" on-site, a valuable amenity for travelers needing to do laundry. Furthermore, the reviewer noted that the owner "has quarters" available for the laundry machines, adding an extra layer of convenience. The reviews do not mention other common RV park services such as Wi-Fi, cable TV, restrooms, or showers. Therefore, based on the available information, the primary services appear to be the full hookups and the coin-operated laundry facility. The emphasis seems to be on providing the necessary utilities for a comfortable stay without the additional frills of a more resort-style park. The owner also appears to offer a "recovery service," which could be incredibly helpful for RVers experiencing mechanical issues, as highlighted in one of the reviews.
The features of Economy Overnight Park, as perceived from the user reviews, are centered around its practicality, affordability, and the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Wayne. The primary feature is its provision of full hookups at a reasonable price of "$45 a night," making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. The small lot size might be seen as a limitation by some, but it also contributes to the park's focus on overnight stays and essential services. The availability of a coin-operated laundry facility is another practical feature that caters to the needs of travelers. However, the standout feature, repeatedly mentioned in the reviews, is the helpfulness and hospitality of the owner. One reviewer specifically gave "5 stars for hospitality!" and recounted how Wayne went out of his way to "squeeze" their large RV into the lot during a time of need. The fact that Wayne also offers a "recovery service" is a unique and highly valuable feature for RVers who might encounter unexpected breakdowns. The reviews suggest that while the park might not be visually impressive ("not the fanciest," "don't judge a book by its cover"), the owner's willingness to assist and provide essential services makes it a worthwhile stop, especially for those in transit or facing unforeseen circumstances. The "economy scenario" aspect implies a focus on value and functionality over elaborate amenities.
Regarding promotional information, the user review mentions a specific price of "$45 a night with full hook ups." This could be considered a key piece of promotional information, highlighting the affordability of the park given the services offered. However, it is important to note that this price might be subject to change and could vary based on the time of year, length of stay, or other factors. The reviews do not mention any other specific discounts, special offers, or seasonal rates. To obtain the most current and accurate pricing information, as well as to inquire about any potential promotions, it would be advisable to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers, (540) 580-0279 or +1 540-580-0279. Given the positive feedback regarding the owner's helpfulness, it is likely that he would be able to provide details on pricing and availability. As Economy Overnight Park seems to cater to a mix of overnight and potentially longer-term stays, it might be worth inquiring about rates for extended durations. 'RV Parks Near Me' aims to provide up-to-date pricing and promotional information whenever available, and users are encouraged to check for any potential updates or direct links to the park's official website or booking information in the future.
In conclusion, Economy Overnight Park in Roanoke, Virginia, as portrayed by user reviews on 'RV Parks Near Me', offers a practical and budget-friendly option for RV travelers. While the environment is described as a small lot primarily accommodating longer-term residents, its location provides access to the scenic beauty of the Roanoke region. Economy Overnight Park Reviews
$45 a night with full hook ups. Not the fanciest but the owner is nice and you can get what you need. Coin washer/dryer and he has quarters.
Jan 20, 2023 · Orkelys Supersaver5 stars for hospitality! We were desperate, in limp mode, hauling a 47' toy hauler. There were surprisingly few options on maps to pick on the fly. Wayne helped squeeze us into his small lot of mostly long term. It is indeed an economy scenario, but it had water, sewer, even 50 amps. It took a week for truck parts/repair, so we made the best of it in the beautiful region.I can see why some rate it lower, but don't judge a book by its cover.Wayne also has a recovery service and is an incredibly helpful person. We were humbled and grateful in a passing time of need.
