Edgelake LLC Introduce
Are you currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lacey, Washington area, or perhaps considering the possibility of residing in a mobile home community? Edgelake LLC, situated at 3928 21st Ave SE UNIT 4, Lacey, WA 98503, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park that may also accommodate some recreational vehicles. However, a review of the available customer feedback reveals a complex and somewhat contradictory picture, requiring a careful and objective assessment for potential residents or visitors.
One reviewer describes Edgelake as "a special place," highlighting several positive aspects of the community. They commend the current manager as "excellent" and a significant improvement over previous management. This suggests that the park may have undergone positive changes in its administration, potentially leading to a more favorable living environment for some residents. This reviewer also notes the efforts of the residents in upgrading their homes and yards, resulting in "lots of beautiful flowers in season" and "lots of new paint jobs on homes," indicating a community where many residents take pride in their living spaces and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the park.
Furthermore, this positive review mentions the presence of a "pretty, little lake" and a "walking, biking trail right over the fence," suggesting access to natural amenities and recreational opportunities in close proximity to the mobile home park. These features could be particularly attractive to individuals and families who value outdoor activities and scenic surroundings. For those who might be considering Edgelake as one of the "RV parks near me" for an extended stay, the access to these trails could enhance their experience.
Despite these positive observations, the same reviewer also points out some drawbacks. They mention that it is "tough on children to live so close; not much room to play," indicating a potential limitation for families with young children who require ample outdoor play areas. Additionally, they took "one star off for a barking dog and yelling kids," suggesting occasional noise issues that could impact the tranquility of the community for some residents.
In stark contrast to the generally positive tone of the first review, a second review presents very serious allegations and a highly negative experience. This reviewer claims that the "manager" is "very rude" and exhibits blatant favoritism based on ethnicity, specifically alleging preferential treatment towards individuals of Hispanic origin and discriminatory behavior towards non-Hispanic residents. This reviewer states they were "recently 'kicked off' property for doing the same thing as someone who is of Hispanic origin" and upon returning, found the other individuals were not penalized. Such allegations of discriminatory behavior are extremely serious and should be a significant concern for anyone considering residing at Edgelake LLC.
The second reviewer explicitly states, "I would not recommend living here if you are non-hispanic," which is a strong and direct warning based on their personal experience. This feedback raises significant questions about the fairness and inclusivity of the community management and the potential for unequal treatment based on cultural background. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay, or those considering making Edgelake LLC their permanent residence, these allegations of prejudice cannot be ignored and warrant thorough investigation and consideration.
Considering these two vastly different perspectives, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Edgelake LLC. The positive review suggests a community with some aesthetic appeal, a helpful manager (at least in their experience), and access to outdoor amenities. However, the negative review paints a picture of a potentially hostile and discriminatory environment under the current management. It is possible that the experiences of these two reviewers reflect different interactions with management or different periods of time. However, the serious nature of the discrimination allegations in the second review cannot be dismissed lightly.
For individuals who are actively searching for "RV parks near me" in Lacey, or considering a longer-term stay in a mobile home park, Edgelake LLC presents a situation that requires significant due diligence. Potential residents should consider the following steps:
- Contact the management directly: Reach out to Edgelake LLC at (360) 413-3935 or +1 360-413-3935 to inquire about their policies, community guidelines, and how they address concerns of fairness and inclusivity. It would be prudent to directly ask about their approach to ensuring a welcoming environment for all residents, regardless of their background.
- Visit the property in person: A visit to Edgelake LLC would allow potential residents to observe the community firsthand, assess the condition of the grounds, and get a general feel for the atmosphere. If possible, try to speak with current residents (if they are willing) to gain additional perspectives on living in the park.
- Seek additional reviews or information: Look for more reviews on other online platforms or community forums to see if there are any recurring themes or patterns in the feedback regarding management and community relations.
- Consider your personal needs and priorities: Evaluate how the potential benefits (lake access, trail proximity, resident-led improvements) weigh against the potential drawbacks (noise, alleged discriminatory management, limited play space for children).
In conclusion, Edgelake LLC offers a mobile home park environment near Lacey, Washington, that appears to have some positive attributes, such as resident-driven improvements and access to natural amenities. However, serious allegations of rude and discriminatory management practices have also been raised by at least one reviewer. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay, or considering making Edgelake LLC their home, a thorough investigation and careful consideration of all available feedback are essential before making a decision. The starkly contrasting reviews highlight the importance of conducting personal due diligence to determine if Edgelake LLC would be a suitable and welcoming community for individual needs and expectations.

Edgelake LLC Reviews
Edgelake is a special place. Our manager is excellent, not bossy like the couple she replaced. Residents have done a great job at upgrading their homes and yards. Lots of beautiful flowers in season, lots of new paint jobs on homes. It's tough on children to live so close; not much room to play. We have a pretty, little lake and a walking, biking trail right over the fence. I took one star off for a barking dog and yelling kids.
Dec 19, 2020 · Kathleen RooneyThe "manager" is very rude, and blatantly favors those of her own culture. I was recently "kicked off" property for doing the same thing as someone who is of Hispanic origin. I later came back on to property to discover the people I was sharing parking with had not moved. I would not recommend living here if you are non-hispanic
Sep 14, 2020 · Ashlyn CheyenneIf I could give no stars I would, I was looking at a house to buy in this park , I was very excited because the park looked so nice and like a wonderful place to live, I was in escrow and waiting on the information from the parks management, the manager Gabrellia was sweet at first until we started negotiating the addendum agreement for the approval of the park for me to live there and buy the house, every time I spoke with her the rules changed and they added things like the leaks of the house to be repaired the new roof (that was just placed)to be redone etc things that were not discussed when I told her they needed to be before escrow, and things that weren’t in their right to demand for fixing, they also wanted me to put 2k down and sign to make sure 11 big repairs were done in 90 days which didn’t make sense to me, saying I would forfeit 2k that needed to go into fixing this house to them if it wasn’t completed in 90 days. After being blinded sided too many times by this manager I had my mother speak with her due to my mothers background in real estate, Gabrellia was very rude to her, hung up on her, LIED to the owner of the park saying we had backed out and weren’t purchasing the house anymore when we had not said that, we just wanted a more professional addendum that did not have hand writing on it and to try to get the security deposit down due to the huge amount of work unit #81 would be. This manager Gabrellia did not have authority to make decisions and I had to wait a week at a time for the park owner to respond everytime I got a response from Gabrellia terms would change and went from 5 repairs to 11, very unprofessional place I do NOT recommend moving here they are just trying to get your money and make it impossible to move forward without it and if you don’t agree to their ridiculous and unlawful terms they will deny you park approval. Please save yourself the time and stress of dealing with these people.
Jun 19, 2021 · Jordan SchuergerThe managers here suck and they're constantly trying to change the rules for all those who live here. They don't respect privacy either and will show up at your door at all hours of the day. On top of all that, they always seem to blame those who don't bother anyone for the faults of everyone else
