FHL RV Park Introduce
For local users in the Lutz, Florida area searching within the platform category of "RV parks near me," FHL RV Park, located at Trailer Park, Lutz, FL 33549, USA, is an option that may appear in your search results. To help you make an informed decision, this detailed introduction provides an objective overview of the park based on recent customer reviews available online. Understanding the experiences of others can be crucial when selecting an RV park that meets your needs and expectations for comfort, convenience, and overall quality.
While a phone number for FHL RV Park was not provided in the available information, the address is listed as Trailer Park, Lutz, FL 33549, USA. Local users interested in contacting the park will need to utilize online search engines or other directories to find their contact information for inquiries about availability, pricing, amenities, and booking procedures. This initial step might require additional effort compared to parks where contact details are readily available.
The online reviews for FHL RV Park present a concerning picture regarding several key aspects of the park experience. One detailed review expresses significant dissatisfaction, citing multiple issues that potential guests should be aware of. The reviewer mentions the presence of mold in most of the showers, raising serious hygiene concerns. The lack of private undressing areas outside of the shower stalls is also noted as an inconvenience, making it difficult to get dressed after showering in a wet environment. This suggests that the shower facilities may not be adequately designed or maintained for guest comfort and hygiene.
Furthermore, the same reviewer reports inconsistent hot water supply, with instances of running out of hot water and experiencing ice-cold showers. Reliable hot water is a fundamental expectation in RV parks, and the reported issues could lead to significant discomfort for guests. The lack of on-site Wi-Fi (only available at the clubhouse) and the absence of cable TV at the elite or premium sites are also highlighted as significant drawbacks, especially considering the potential cost associated with these premium sites. In today's connected world, reliable internet access and entertainment options are often considered essential amenities.
The reviewer also points out the lack of a store on the premises, not even for basic necessities like drinks or ice. This absence of on-site convenience could be particularly problematic for RVers who may rely on such facilities for essential supplies, especially if they are not familiar with the local area or do not have immediate transportation to off-site stores. While a laundry facility is mentioned, the fact that it operates via an app only and does not provide soap adds further inconvenience. App-based systems may not be user-friendly for everyone, and the lack of soap requires guests to bring their own, which is not always ideal when traveling.
Pet owners should also take note of the reviewer's observation that not all pet owners are diligent about picking up after their animals, suggesting potential issues with cleanliness in common areas. This can detract from the overall environment of the park and may be a concern for guests who are particularly mindful of cleanliness or who have children who might play outdoors.
Finally, the reviewer strongly advises against expecting a quiet night's sleep at FHL RV Park, suggesting that noise levels are a persistent issue. This can significantly impact the overall quality of stay, especially for travelers seeking rest and relaxation. The reviewer concludes by stating that, based on their extensive experience with various types of campgrounds and RV parks, FHL RV Park is one they would "never recommend." This strong negative sentiment should be taken seriously by potential guests.
Another concerning review details a negative experience related to the park's policies or the actions of its staff. The reviewer recounts spending a week gathering required documents, only to be told at the end that they could not apply due to their immigration status and lack of American documents. The reviewer expresses frustration at the time wasted and the lack of transparency at the beginning of the process. This incident raises questions about the park's application policies and the way potential residents are treated, suggesting a potentially discriminatory practice and a lack of respect for individuals' time.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," local users will likely be looking for a safe, clean, and convenient place to stay with their recreational vehicles. The issues raised in the reviews for FHL RV Park, including mold in showers, inconsistent hot water, limited Wi-Fi and no cable TV at premium sites, lack of on-site store, app-only laundry without soap, potential pet waste issues, noise concerns, and the reported discriminatory application process, paint a picture that stands in stark contrast to the typical expectations of a quality RV park experience.
Given the significant negative feedback, local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lutz area should exercise extreme caution when considering FHL RV Park. The reported health and hygiene issues (moldy showers, inconsistent hot water), lack of basic amenities (on-site store), inconveniences (app-only laundry without soap, limited Wi-Fi), potential environmental concerns (pet waste), and the serious allegations regarding discriminatory practices are all factors that could severely detract from a positive stay.
Before making any decision, local users are strongly advised to seek additional reviews from various sources to see if these issues are isolated incidents or indicative of broader problems at the park. If possible, contacting the park management directly to inquire about these concerns and understand their response or any steps taken to address them would be prudent. However, given the nature and severity of the reported issues, it would be wise for local users to thoroughly explore other "RV parks near me" in the Lutz area that have more consistently positive feedback regarding their facilities, services, and policies.
In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, FHL RV Park in Lutz, Florida, appears to have significant shortcomings that could negatively impact the experience of potential guests. The reported issues with hygiene, basic amenities, convenience, noise, and potentially discriminatory practices should give local users serious pause. It is recommended to proceed with extreme caution and to prioritize researching alternative RV parks in the vicinity that offer a higher standard of comfort, cleanliness, and customer service.

FHL RV Park Reviews
Not a fan of this park. I found mold in most of the showers so wear shower shoes and be aware you not able to undress in private unless you do it inside the shower that makes getting dressed after you are wet and shower is wet very difficult. You will run out of hot water also at certain times and end up with a ice cold shower. The other issue is the free wifi is not on-site but only at the clubhouse and no cable TV either this is pretty ridiculous for the price of a elite or premium site. They have no store not even a place for drinks or ice. They have a laundry but no soap and its operation is by app only. PET owners are not always good at picking up after their pets so watch where you walk. Oh and if you want a quiet night sleep just go somewhere else since you are never going to get it here. We have stayed in a heck of a lot of RV parks, State Parks, Campgrounds and other places but this was one that I would never recommend.
Apr 03, 2023 · diana suitsI spent a week putting together all the documents that the women in the office asked for, and in the end they said that I couldn't apply because I was an immigrant and didn't have American documents. they could have at least spoken at the beginning, and not have made me waste a week of my time chasing everything to present to them. my time is expensive, and I do the heavy work that those who discriminate against us are not capable of doing it.
