Forest Lakes Manafactured Housing Community Introduce
Are you searching for “RV parks near me” in the Smiths Station, Alabama area and considering your options for comfortable and convenient living? Forest Lakes Manufactured Housing Community, located at 1735 Lee Road 294, Smiths Station, AL 36877, offers a unique alternative to traditional RV parks. While we may not be a typical short-term recreational vehicle park, our community provides a long-term residential environment that shares some similarities with the amenities and lifestyle sought by those searching for RV parks, particularly those considering a more permanent or extended stay.
Forest Lakes Manufactured Housing Community aims to provide a stable and neighborly environment for its residents. Our community features paved roads and streetlights, contributing to a well-maintained and safe atmosphere. This infrastructure ensures ease of navigation throughout the park and enhances visibility during the evenings, promoting a sense of security for everyone.
Based on feedback from our residents, the environment at Forest Lakes can be described as generally quiet with well-kept yards. One resident review highlights the peacefulness of the community and the positive interactions with neighbors, stating it’s “Not your typical trailer park” and emphasizing the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. This suggests a community that takes pride in its appearance and fosters a positive social environment.
For families with children, the same review mentions that “Kids are even safe playing outside,” indicating a family-friendly atmosphere where children can enjoy outdoor activities within the community. This can be a significant factor for those considering a longer-term stay and seeking a safe environment for their families, a feature often desired by those looking at RV parks for extended family trips or relocations.
While specific amenities comparable to a full-service RV park (such as individual hookups at each lot, laundry facilities, or recreational centers) are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, the focus on paved roads, streetlights, and a generally quiet and safe environment suggests a community that prioritizes the essential infrastructure for comfortable living. For those considering transitioning from short-term RV living to a more permanent setting, Forest Lakes offers the stability of a land-leased manufactured home community.
It is important to consider all feedback when evaluating any living situation. One review mentions concerns regarding slow response times to repair requests and instances of rude neighbors. This feedback also includes a serious accusation regarding discriminatory treatment and difficulties accessing personal belongings during a personal legal matter. While this review presents a negative experience, it is crucial to consider it alongside the positive feedback highlighting the quiet environment and safe atmosphere.

This model often fosters a stronger sense of community and stability.

Forest Lakes Manafactured Housing Community Reviews
Very slow to respond to repair requests and other things. Very rude neighbors as well. The locks were changed in the middle of my divorce and I couldn't go in to retrieve my items. They were badly damaged because of it. I had always heard this was a terrible area for black people to live in and I see exactly why.
