Freeland Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Freeland, Michigan area, Freeland Mobile Home Park, located at 10340 Midland Rd, presents a residential community that might, under certain circumstances, accommodate long-term RV stays. However, it is crucial to understand that mobile home parks primarily cater to residents living in manufactured homes, and their suitability for RVs can vary significantly. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed and objective overview of Freeland Mobile Home Park based on recent online reviews, which unfortunately raise significant concerns for potential residents, including those with RVs.
Freeland Mobile Home Park is situated in Freeland, Michigan. While the address provides a general location, the available reviews do not offer specific details about the immediate environment or surroundings of the park. One resident initially noted the community as "very quiet," which could be appealing to those seeking a peaceful long-term living environment. The park was reportedly built in 2023, suggesting relatively new infrastructure. However, the positive initial impression is quickly overshadowed by significant issues raised by residents.
As a mobile home park, the services at Freeland Mobile Home Park are primarily geared towards the needs of manufactured home residents. These typically include essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage connections at each lot. For individuals considering a long-term RV stay, it is imperative to ascertain whether the park has specific provisions or policies for RVs, including the availability and type of hookups, the size and suitability of lots for RVs of different sizes, and any regulations regarding the duration of stay for RVs. Given the serious maintenance and management concerns raised in the reviews, the reliability and accessibility of these basic services for RVs would also need to be carefully evaluated.
The customer reviews for Freeland Mobile Home Park paint a deeply troubling picture. One resident who had lived there for nearly six months initially found the community quiet and the place nice due to its recent construction. However, this positive experience quickly deteriorated. The reviewer details numerous structural issues within their unit, including trim falling off, a front door with a glass/screen that fell out and never shut properly, a doorknob falling off, a bedroom door that wouldn't close, and drawer faces coming off – all reportedly occurring with minimal use, indicating poor construction quality. This suggests potential issues with the overall upkeep and standards within the park.
Furthermore, the reviews highlight severe problems with management accessibility and communication. Residents report that the office is consistently closed during posted hours, and calls and voicemails are not returned, making it exceedingly difficult to contact the management for maintenance requests or other concerns. Adding to this, a resident was only informed, upon their own inquiry, that their landlord no longer worked there, further emphasizing the lack of communication and potential instability in the management. The overall sentiment from this reviewer is that the place is "horrible" and "overpriced for what you get."
An update from the same reviewer raises serious safety concerns regarding the enforcement of pet policies. They report instances of off-leash dogs attacking their leashed dogs in their own yard. Despite this, contacting management remains a significant issue, as there is reportedly only one office person dealing with multiple properties, making them largely unavailable to address tenant concerns promptly. This lack of responsiveness to serious issues like dog attacks further underscores the problematic management situation at Freeland Mobile Home Park.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Freeland Mobile Home Park, based on the available reviews, does not appear to be a suitable option for those seeking a reliable or well-managed long-term RV stay. The significant issues with construction quality, inaccessible and unresponsive management, and potential safety concerns due to unaddressed pet policy violations far outweigh any potential benefits of a new community or a quiet environment. Dedicated RV parks typically offer more comprehensive amenities and management focused on the needs of RVers, along with established rules and enforcement for the safety and comfort of all guests.
Features typically expected in a well-maintained residential community or RV park, such as responsive on-site management, timely maintenance services, and enforcement of community rules, appear to be severely lacking at Freeland Mobile Home Park, according to the reviews. While the park is new, the rapid deterioration of units and the difficulty in contacting management suggest a lack of proper oversight and maintenance protocols. Specific amenities for residents, beyond basic utility hookups (which are not even confirmed for RVs), are not mentioned in the negative reviews.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided data. Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback and the serious concerns raised by residents, it is highly unlikely that Freeland Mobile Home Park is currently running any promotions. Any potential long-term RV residents should prioritize addressing the critical issues highlighted in the reviews directly with the management (if they can be reached) before considering any financial aspects. It would be prudent to inquire about the current management structure, maintenance procedures, pet policies, and the park's specific regulations and accommodations for RVs.
In conclusion, for individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in Freeland, MI, the available information strongly suggests that Freeland Mobile Home Park is not a recommended option at this time. The serious concerns regarding construction quality, inaccessible and unresponsive management, and safety issues related to unmanaged pets paint a picture of a poorly run and potentially unsafe living environment. Potential long-term RV residents should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these issues directly with the park management. It would be wise to explore other established and positively reviewed RV parks in the Freeland area to ensure a more secure and comfortable long-term living experience. The negative feedback indicates a significant risk associated with choosing Freeland Mobile Home Park for any long-term residency, including RV stays.

Freeland Mobile Home Park Reviews
I’ve lived here for almost 6 months. It started out great. I love the community, very quiet. The place was nice at first, built in 2023. Don’t let looks fool you. Our trim was falling off because it was glued on, our front doors glass/screen fell out and the door never shut to begin with, a doorknob fell off, bedroom door never shut, drawer faces came off, etc. These all occurred with little to no touch from us. The place was falling apart when we moved in and just continues. Anytime me or my significant other can get to the office no one is there. Also, I was just informed, only because I asked, that our landlord doesn’t even work here anymore. Overall, this place is horrible and is overpriced for what you get.
Apr 06, 2025 · Andria HendersonOffice is always closed when the posted hours says it’s open and they don’t return voicemails or calls. No way to contact them.UPDATE: There are dogs who are attacking my dogs when being let around off leash, yet still very little way to contact them due to them only having one office person who is dealing with other properties himself (according to him when I was able to get to someone) to deal with their tenants. The dog came and attacked my dogs who were on leashes in their own yard.
Apr 13, 2025 · Zierrah Thompson (Sim-Plify)Lived here for over 5 years and the new management is terrible. My floor has been broken for almost a month to their knowledge. Told multiple times they were going to fix it. Now I’m late for rent because I can’t even talk to a person from the company other than the maintenance guy. Poor guy.
