Midland Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local residents in Midland, Michigan, seeking information about "rv parks near me" that might also accommodate mobile homes or offer long-term residency options, Midland Mobile Home Park, located at 47 N Meridian Rd, Midland, MI 48640, USA, presents a residential community with a mix of experiences reported by its residents. While the platform category focuses on RV parks, mobile home parks often cater to individuals and families looking for more permanent or semi-permanent living arrangements, sometimes accommodating RVs as well. It's important to consider all aspects of a potential living situation, as reflected in the experiences shared by current and former residents of Midland Mobile Home Park.
One of the consistently positive aspects highlighted in the reviews of Midland Mobile Home Park is the sense of community among the residents. One reviewer noted that "the residents are very pleasant and kind to one another," and that they are "always welcoming with a friendly wave." This suggests a neighborly and supportive environment within the park, which can be a significant factor for those seeking a sense of belonging and community in their living situation. The friendly atmosphere among residents contributes to a potentially positive day-to-day living experience within the park.
However, alongside the positive community feedback, there are notable concerns raised regarding the environment and management of Midland Mobile Home Park. One significant issue mentioned is a recurring odor of sewage, described as "quite bad on warm days." The reviewer expressing this concern was unsure if it was a problem that could be resolved. Such an environmental factor could impact the quality of life for residents, especially during warmer seasons, and is an important aspect for potential residents to consider.
The reviews also raise serious concerns about the management and maintenance practices at Midland Mobile Home Park. One former resident shared a detailed account of negative experiences, including issues with a rental trailer and the handling of their security deposit. According to this review, a maintenance attempt to fix a leaking shower involved the use of "water soluble glue," which seems inappropriate for a plumbing repair. Additionally, the rented shed was reportedly filled with "gross, moldy previous owners belongings," and the kitchen cupboards had a "serious mouse problem" that was not addressed until the new residents moved in. These maintenance and cleanliness issues suggest potential shortcomings in the upkeep of the properties within the park.
Furthermore, the same former resident reported significant difficulties in communicating with the actual owners of the mobile home park. They claimed that requests for the owner's contact information were refused, and even when the number was obtained, the owner allegedly refused to speak with them. This lack of direct communication with the ownership can be a major concern for residents needing to address issues or resolve disputes. The reviewer also stated that despite being promised their security deposit back after leaving, they had not received it after over nine months, and their calls regarding the matter were allegedly not returned. These experiences paint a picture of unprofessionalism and a lack of responsiveness from the management.
The financial aspect, specifically the rental cost, was also criticized by the former resident, who felt that the trailer they rented was "definitely not worth the amount for rent that was asked." This suggests a potential mismatch between the perceived value of the accommodation and its cost, especially when considering the maintenance and other issues encountered. The overall sentiment expressed by this reviewer was that "overall professionalism is seriously lacking at this place."
Given these reviews, it is challenging to provide information about services, features, or promotional offers for Midland Mobile Home Park based solely on positive feedback. The primary features that can be objectively noted are the presence of individual mobile home or RV lots (implied by the term "park" and the rental of a "trailer"), and the existence of a residential community. However, the quality and reliability of other potential services, such as maintenance, management responsiveness, and overall park upkeep, are questionable based on the negative experiences shared.
It is important for local users considering Midland Mobile Home Park as a potential "rv park near me" or a longer-term residential option to weigh the reported positive community atmosphere against the significant concerns raised about environmental issues and management practices. The discrepancy between the friendly residents and the alleged shortcomings in management and maintenance creates a complex picture that prospective residents should investigate further.
As there is no mention of specific amenities like clubhouses, laundry facilities, recreational areas, or pet policies in the provided reviews, this information cannot be included in this introduction. Similarly, no promotional offers or special deals are mentioned. The focus remains on the environment (potential sewage odor), the community (friendly residents), and the management (reported lack of professionalism, poor maintenance, and issues with communication and security deposit returns).
For local users considering Midland Mobile Home Park, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. This could include visiting the park in person to assess the environment, attempting to speak with current residents about their experiences, and seeking clarification from the management regarding the concerns raised in online reviews. Understanding the current state of the park, its management practices, and the specific terms of any rental or residency agreement is crucial before making a decision. The friendly residents appear to be a significant asset, but the reported issues with sewage odor, maintenance, and management responsiveness are serious factors that should not be overlooked.
In conclusion, Midland Mobile Home Park in Midland, MI, presents a community where residents reportedly enjoy a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere among themselves. However, potential residents should be aware of concerns raised regarding a persistent sewage odor, as well as significant allegations of poor maintenance, lack of professionalism from management, and difficulties in communication, including issues with security deposit returns. While the friendly community is a positive aspect, a thorough investigation into the current conditions and management practices is essential for any local user considering this as a long-term living option or an "rv park near me" that might accommodate their needs.

Midland Mobile Home Park Reviews
The residents are very pleasant and kind to one another. I can't say much for the management as I don't know how the place is ran or handled. It smells of sewage quite bad on warm days, not sure if there is anything that can be done about it. However, overall, it's a decent place with residents who are always welcoming with a friendly wave.
Jul 03, 2018 · Krista KregerTrailer wasn't bad. Maintenance guy tried to fix our leaking shower with water soluble glue... the shed was full of gross, moldy previous owners belongings. Not to mention the cupboards had a serious mouse problem that didn't get cleaned till we moved in. You cant talk to the real owners. If you ask for the number it is refused to you, and if you do acquire it, the owner refuses to talk to you. We left and were promised out security deposit back, its been over 9 months, have yet to receive it. They never returned our calls on it either. Trailer was definitely not worth the amount for rent that was asked.Overall professionalism is seriously lacking at this place.
