Garden City RV Park Introduce
Located at 1309 Oakland Rd, San Jose, CA 95112, USA, Garden City RV Park is listed within the "RV parks near me" category. For contact purposes, they can be reached at (408) 288-9481 or +1 408-288-9481. However, it is crucial for potential users to be aware of recent and highly negative customer feedback regarding this establishment.
Multiple recent reviews paint a concerning picture of Garden City RV Park, with customers strongly advising others to avoid booking a stay. One reviewer explicitly stated, "DO NOT BOOK HERE! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!" This individual reported being charged $200 for a few nights' stay but was allegedly turned away upon arrival. The review further characterized the customer service as "awful" and noted the presence of "multiple homeless tents right on the sidewalk by the park!!" This observation raises concerns about the immediate surroundings and the overall environment of the RV park.
Another customer shared a similarly distressing experience, detailing a situation where they believe they were scammed out of their money, either by the business itself or by someone staying at the park. This reviewer mentioned contacting another park with the same name, confirming they had not made a booking there. They expressed suspicion that their card information might have been compromised due to the office being left unlocked overnight. The frustration of this customer is evident in their statement that it is "laughable that they can answer a review this quickly but cannot answer any of our calls during the day." This highlights potential issues with communication and responsiveness from the management.
Adding to the negative feedback, a third reviewer described their experience as the "worst traveling experience of my life." This customer also reported paying in advance but upon arrival, the staff allegedly had no record of their booking and reportedly screamed at them, despite the customer providing proof of the transaction. This individual's extreme dissatisfaction is palpable in their statement, "I would rather sleep in a gutter, than ever step foot on that dirty, nasty excuse for a rv park again." This strong condemnation of the park's cleanliness and overall quality should be taken seriously by anyone considering a stay.
Given the consistency and severity of the negative feedback in these recent reviews, it is difficult to provide a positive introduction to Garden City RV Park for local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category. The recurring themes of alleged scams, awful customer service, discrepancies regarding payments and bookings, and concerns about the environment and cleanliness are significant red flags.
Typically, an introduction to an RV park would include details about its environment, services, and features. However, based solely on the provided customer reviews, the environment appears to be negatively impacted by the presence of homeless tents in the immediate vicinity. Information about services such as hookups, amenities (like restrooms, showers, laundry), or recreational facilities is entirely absent from the reviews, likely overshadowed by the more pressing negative experiences related to booking and customer service.
Similarly, details about the features of Garden City RV Park, such as the size of the RV sites, pet policies, Wi-Fi availability, or any unique selling points, are not mentioned. The focus of the feedback is overwhelmingly on the negative aspects of the booking process, financial transactions, and the interaction with the staff.
It is important to note that while the owners have reportedly responded to at least one of the negative reviews online, the content of these responses is not provided in the given information. Therefore, it is impossible to assess the management's perspective or any attempts they may have made to address the issues raised.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," local users would typically be looking for reliable and safe accommodations for their recreational vehicles. The information gleaned from these reviews strongly suggests that Garden City RV Park may not meet these expectations. The allegations of scams, coupled with reports of poor customer service and a potentially unpleasant environment, should give any prospective guest significant pause.
Without any positive feedback or information about the park's actual services and features, it is impossible to offer any promotional information. In fact, the available information serves as a strong cautionary note against booking a stay at Garden City RV Park based on the experiences of recent customers.
Therefore, in the interest of providing an objective introduction based on the available internet information, it is necessary to highlight the serious concerns raised by recent reviewers. Potential users searching within the "RV parks near me" category should be aware of these accounts and exercise extreme caution if considering Garden City RV Park. It would be prudent to seek alternative RV park options in the San Jose area that have more positive and reliable feedback.
In conclusion, based on the provided customer reviews, Garden City RV Park in San Jose appears to be an establishment with significant issues related to booking, customer service, and potentially the surrounding environment. The strong warnings from multiple reviewers should not be ignored by local users seeking RV accommodations. It is recommended to look for other options within the "RV parks near me" category in San Jose that have a more positive track record and provide a greater sense of security and reliability for travelers.

Garden City RV Park Reviews
DO NOT BOOK HERE! THEY WILL SCAM YOU! Charged us $200 for a few nights stay, when we arrived they turned us away! Awful customer service! DONT NOT STAY HERE! Also multiple homeless tents right on the sidewalk by the park!!I see the owners have responded to this... We contacted the other park with the same name and as we expected we did not book the other site. Since the office was unlocked all night we assume a worker or someone staying at the park received the call and took our card information and charged us OR the actual business scammed us. It’s laughable that they can answer a review this quickly but cannot answer any of our calls during the day . We have stayed at many parks and have had great experiences. This was horrendous and the case has been reported!
Oct 27, 2024 · Brooklynn HowardWorst traveling experience of my life. Either the business or one of the tenants scammed us of our money. Paid in advance and they didn’t have any idea what was going on and then screamed at us that we didn’t pay, despite us showing them the transaction to their exact name and address. Most unfriendly people I’ve ever met I would rather sleep in a gutter, than ever step foot on that dirty, nasty excuse for a rv park again.
Oct 27, 2024 · Devin DaviesExcellent location and customer service. Dump station was easy to use - note that it's cash or check only.Update: updating my review to 3 stars, because they almost never pick up the phone
Dec 28, 2024 · Theo SinitsinI called first to see if I could empty tanks and fill fresh water. With the owner's permission I stopped in to do so. It was $20.00. He allowed me to do a quick cleanup and fill the water in my batteries as well. Needed to fix a tail light. So nice to have a safe place to do the maintenance. Pretty little park as well. I'll Keep it in my mind for an overnight stay sometime.
Oct 10, 2019 · Sandie MosherVery professional and thorough. Great bbq outside patio, shopping centers, car shops, freeway 101and 280 access. Children's playground nearby in fast food place. Pet friendly and very clean environment with very easy available hookups. Laundry room use and water included in lease payment. Electrical separate. Mr. Peter was very helpful and open for any concerns. Shed available in vehicle parking spot.
