Riverbend Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the San Jose area, it is crucial to thoroughly research potential communities, especially if considering a long-term stay or if family members or friends may be visiting. Riverbend Mobile Home Park, located at 1358 Oakland Rd, San Jose, CA 95112, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews, indicating a potential shift in its environment and management approach.
One review reflects on a nostalgic past, describing Riverbend Mobile Home Park as an "amazing place to be grown up in," emphasizing a sense of safety, the presence of a park, and a pool. This suggests that the community may have once fostered a family-friendly and amenity-rich environment that long-term residents remember fondly. However, the subsequent experiences shared by the same reviewer paint a different picture of the current living conditions and management policies, particularly concerning visitors.
The reviewer, now an adult visiting their aging parents who reside in the park, expresses significant concerns regarding the restrictions placed on visitors. These restrictions include a requirement to advise the office if parking in a parent's carport overnight and a mandate to inform the office of weekend visits, with parking limited to visitor parking from Friday to Sunday. These policies are perceived as inconvenient and restrictive, particularly for family members wishing to visit their loved ones, especially during holidays or for extended periods.
Furthermore, the reviewer alleges that some tenant and visitor parking spaces have been marked as "Reserved," speculating that this may be for extra income. This practice is seen as an inconvenience to all residents, potentially limiting their ability to have guests over and impacting the social dynamics of the community.
The reviewer's overall assessment suggests that Riverbend Mobile Home Park might be suitable for elderly individuals with limited social connections or visitors. However, they strongly advise younger individuals or those who anticipate having frequent visitors to avoid the community due to the restrictive management policies.
Another significant concern raised in the reviews is the lack of accessible contact methods for the management, with only a phone number provided. The reviewer suggests that the management may prefer to avoid a "paper trail of evidence," which could be problematic for residents needing to document communications or issues. The advice to "ask anyone walking around the property for their honest option about this place before buying here" underscores a lack of transparency and potential dissatisfaction among current residents.
A separate review details an "absolutely the worst customer service" experience encountered by a potential buyer. This individual contacted the office to inquire about the space rent for a mobile home that was for sale. Despite clearly stating the purpose of their call and noting that numerous other mobile home parks had readily provided this information, the office representative allegedly refused to provide the space rent, stating that they were not selling the mobile home and directing the caller to contact the realtor.
The potential buyer repeated their request, assuming a misunderstanding, but was met with a dismissive and condescending response, with the representative speaking slowly and cutting them off. This unprofessional interaction raises serious concerns about the management's approach to potential new residents and their willingness to provide essential information. The reviewer also questions whether this poor customer service could be a contributing factor to the mobile home being on the market for an extended period, highlighting the potential negative impact of management on property values and community perception.
Based on these recent reviews, the environment at Riverbend Mobile Home Park appears to be characterized by restrictive visitor policies and potentially challenging interactions with the management. The sense of community that may have existed in the past seems to have diminished for some, with concerns raised about social limitations and the overall welcoming atmosphere, particularly for visitors.
Information regarding specific services and features of Riverbend Mobile Home Park is limited in the provided reviews. While a pool and a park are mentioned in the context of the past, there is no current information about the upkeep or availability of these amenities or any others, such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or Wi-Fi access. Similarly, there is no mention of whether Riverbend Mobile Home Park accommodates RVs or offers specific amenities for RV hookups (like water, electricity, and sewage). Given the focus on mobile homes and the concerns raised about management and visitor policies, it is uncertain if RV owners seeking a long-term stay would find this community suitable.
No promotional information is available in the provided text. Given the negative feedback regarding management and visitor policies, it is unlikely that the park is currently running any promotions aimed at attracting new residents. Potential local users considering Riverbend Mobile Home Park, whether for mobile home or RV living (if permitted), should carefully weigh the serious concerns raised in the recent reviews. It is strongly recommended to seek further information from current residents and to directly address the management regarding the reported issues before making any decisions.
In conclusion, Riverbend Mobile Home Park in San Jose presents a complex picture. While it may have been a positive community in the past, recent reviews highlight significant concerns regarding restrictive visitor policies, potentially unfriendly management, and a lack of transparency. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities in San Jose, it is crucial to be aware of these issues and to conduct thorough due diligence, seeking firsthand accounts from current residents and direct clarification from the management before considering Riverbend Mobile Home Park as a potential living option.

Riverbend Mobile Home Park Reviews
This WAS such an amazing place to be grown up in safe, park and pool. Now, we are grown adult that come visit our parents because they are older and we CAN NOT:Park in their carport over night unless we advise the office. We aren’t allow to visit our parents on the weekend with out letting the office knew we will be parked at the visitor parking for Friday-Sunday.They have marked some of the parking spaces for tenants and visitor as Reserved I think it’s for extra income. This inconvenience all residents from having loved ones over the holidays. If you in a place for some elderly people, who no one cares for or will never have visitors, WELCOME TO RIVERBEND.However if you are young trying to start a life in the beautiful Bay Area don’t waste your money or time with this management. They have no form of contact besides a phone number. They don’t like paper trail of evidence. Please ask anyone walking around the property for their honest option about this place before buying here.
Feb 19, 2023 · Diana RuizABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was a potential buyer that contacted the office to inquire about the space rent and the lady who I spoke said she couldn't give me that information, because she wasn't selling the mobile home. I kindly repeated myself (thinking she perhaps didn't hear me correctly, and since every other mobile home park I've contacted - nearly 25 - have been able to give me this information) and she cut me off and spoke very slowly as if I didn't hear her the first time, or I had a hearing problem and said "LIKE...I...SAID...I...CANNOT...give you that information...contact the REALTOR. Have a nice day" Could this be the reason the mobile home has been on the market for the past 6 months? It's a shame for the sellers.
Mar 14, 2022 · L LI live in the bordering MHP and just have to vent about the lack of humanity in this park. This Mobile Home Park (MHP) basically caused my MHP to flood back in 2017 and have no recourse to disprove it. They don't help anyone find a lost kitten, but that another story, my neighbor is the proof. This is a place to live if you think you don't want to have friendly neighbors, but want neighbors afraid of the mean-agent-ment that really sucks, this is the place for you.My neighboring MHP has no trees, they do NOT allow them, and they take a noisy leaf blower every so often, at their discretion, along the border of Golden Wheel Park with little gardeners destroying your view.A bad place to live if don't like fascists running your life.
Jul 30, 2019 · Mike AtkinsVery clean and peaceful. My friend said it's one of those upscale mobile parks. Homes range from 5 years to new.
Nov 06, 2022 · Kevin ChanI just went to see a few properties that were for sale and some lady claiming to be the property manager followed me and told me to get off the property and that she was calling the cops... Like she's so superior lady you live in a trailer park get over yourself
