Based on recent customer reviews available online, it's important for prospective residents to be aware of certain concerns raised regarding the management and living conditions at Gold Dust Mobile Home Park. Several reviews highlight issues related to the responsiveness of the current management to maintenance requests and other park-related responsibilities.
One reviewer detailed ongoing water issues that were allegedly not addressed effectively by the management. According to this account, despite assurances of a professional evaluation, the issue was seemingly dismissed without proper resolution, leading to prolonged inconvenience for the resident, including the inability to do laundry for an extended period. This raises concerns about the park's commitment to addressing essential infrastructure problems in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Another significant concern raised in the reviews pertains to the enforcement and nature of park rules under the current management. One former resident described the new rules as excessively strict, even going beyond local city codes regarding lot upkeep. This individual reported receiving fines for minor issues, such as not trimming trees on a lot that allegedly had no trees. Furthermore, they claimed that these stringent rules were selectively enforced, leading to feelings of unfair treatment among certain residents. This suggests a potential lack of consistent and equitable application of park regulations.
Beyond maintenance and rule enforcement, a review also mentioned safety and environmental concerns within the park. This account described a long-standing bee hive behind a park wall that allegedly took two months to address after the resident moved in, creating a hazardous environment for children and adults due to swarming bees entering their home. Additionally, the reviewer claimed that trash and scrap were being discarded behind the same wall, potentially violating city codes and attracting pests like bees, hornets, and snakes, thus impacting the overall safety and cleanliness of the living environment.
It's important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and perspectives. However, the consistency of certain themes, such as management responsiveness and issues with park rules, warrants careful consideration for anyone looking at Gold Dust Mobile Home Park as a potential "RV park near me" or a longer-term residence.
Prospective residents might want to inquire specifically about the park's procedures for handling maintenance requests, the detailed list of current park rules and their enforcement, and the measures taken to ensure a safe and clean living environment. Visiting the park in person to assess the conditions and potentially speak with current residents (if possible) could also provide valuable insights before making a decision.
Given the information available in the public reviews, it is advisable for individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in Apache Junction to conduct thorough due diligence when considering Gold Dust Mobile Home Park. Understanding the potential challenges highlighted by past residents can help in making a well-informed choice that aligns with individual needs and expectations for a comfortable and hassle-free living experience.
While the reviews do not offer any specific promotional information, the concerns raised about management responsiveness, park rules, and safety suggest that prospective residents should prioritize obtaining clear and detailed information directly from the park management regarding these aspects before committing to a stay. It is crucial to have a comprehensive understanding of the services provided, the expectations for residents, and the park's commitment to addressing concerns and maintaining a positive living environment.
In conclusion, while Gold Dust Mobile Home Park is located within the Apache Junction area and may appear as an option when searching for "RV parks near me," the publicly available reviews indicate potential challenges related to management, park rules, and living conditions that prospective residents should carefully evaluate. Direct communication with the park management and a thorough personal assessment of the property are strongly recommended to ensure it meets your specific requirements and expectations for an RV park or mobile home living experience.

Gold Dust Mobile Home Park Reviews
Manager is careless when it comes to fixing issues that are solely the parks responsibility. Many issues that arise are a fight to get taken care of. Takes days to respond if you even get one at all. We’ve had ongoing water issues that are not our responsibility to fix, to which a man that hardly spoke English showed up, turned our spigot on, and said “well there’s some water coming out so it works”. Manager had initially stated she was sending a company to evaluate the issue after trying to shrug the issue off as our responsibility as tenants, which was a lie. Haven’t been able to do laundry in around 3 months now. When we first moved in there was a huge bee hive years old behind the park wall that took them 2 months to even address for us. Kids & myself couldn’t walk outside without being bombarded with bees or having them come into our home. Oh and they have been throwing all trash and scrap behind that wall as well which I believe is a city code violation due to things like bees/hornets/snakes and anything else that likes to nest becoming an issue. Not very safe living conditions. As soon as we have the means to leave this place we are out of here. Buyers/renters beware!
Jun 19, 2024 · Jessica MetzgerThere was a time that I liked living at Gold Dust MHP. But the manager that was running the place unfortunately passed away. We loved having her around. She was very understanding and very reasonable about everything. The manager of it now came in with a set of “new park rules” that looked like it was written by the third reich. Most places go along with city codes for how your lot should be kept, they go further, much further. Once got a $100 fine for not trimming trees/bushes and raking up foliage when there wasn’t even a tree on our lot. Not allowed to have anything outside, except patio furniture. But all of these rules only were applied to select few of us, for reasons that those select few had figured out. Bottom line is most of these MHParks are a scam! Because the laws are written so they can be, in Arizona! I wouldn’t move there, hell I wouldn’t move to Arizona at all, for lots of reasons (but this review isn’t about the state)!
Sep 19, 2023 · Louis Thomas Shelton IVThis trailer park is such a cute place. I've lived in here a couple of times. It's a tight little community. Everyone here are very cool people. Management is hands on. They will work with you in buying or if you are a little late paying your rent.
Oct 12, 2020 · Robert MartinI live there . The manager is harassing most people living there , is like a kgb agent looking for excuses to evict you from the place you own and paid for so they could own it and resell it . Besides that , they are not maintaining what needs to be taking care of . They would destroy an old tree instead of trimming it . The manager being Hispanic is giving better treatment to Hispanics than others . Very obvious discrimination . Too much harrassement from a lady that wants to do too much to have the opportunity to steal the property from you . They will end up being sued for being abusive and harassing .
