Golden Rule Estates Introduce
When searching for "rv parks near me," it's important to note that Golden Rule Estates, located at 40 NE 25th St, Lawton, OK 73507, USA, is a mobile home park offering long-term residency for manufactured homes, rather than short-term stays for recreational vehicles. For those interested in mobile home communities in the Lawton, Oklahoma area, Golden Rule Estates can be contacted at (580) 357-0366 or +1 580-357-0366 for inquiries about residency and availability. Recent online reviews provide mixed perspectives on the community, which potential residents should consider.
One resident, who has been renting at Golden Rule Estates for approximately a year and a half, shared a concise but critical piece of feedback regarding the owner's demeanor, stating, "The owner will be rude to you." This direct comment suggests potential challenges in interactions with the management, which can impact the overall living experience. Additionally, the same reviewer mentioned a disruptive noise issue, noting, "The maintenance guy revs his loud pavement princess truck every afternoon and every night – yes, even school nights." Such recurring noise disturbances, especially during evenings and school nights, can detract from the peace and quiet of the community and negatively affect residents' quality of life.
Despite these negative aspects, the reviewer indicated a reason for their continued residency, stating, "I only stay, for now, because it is near my job." This suggests that the location of Golden Rule Estates may be a significant advantage for some individuals due to its proximity to employment opportunities.
Another reviewer offered a more balanced perspective, commenting on the overall appearance of the community and its location. They noted, "As with any location, the overall appearance will depend strongly on the residents. Most of the places here were in fair shape and seemed loved." This suggests that while the management might have its drawbacks, many residents take pride in their homes and maintain them adequately, contributing to a generally acceptable aesthetic within the community.
The presence of a "central mail location" was highlighted as a helpful feature, providing convenience for residents in managing their mail. The reviewer also mentioned a desire to explore the community further but lacked the time, implying that there might be other aspects of the environment worth discovering.
The location of Golden Rule Estates was again noted as a positive attribute, with the reviewer stating, "The location is great and close to some convenience stores and near the casino if you like the fun and risk with your finances." This indicates that residents have easy access to basic shopping needs and are also in proximity to entertainment options, such as a casino, for those interested in such activities. The convenience of nearby amenities can be a significant factor for many when choosing a long-term living situation.
The same reviewer also observed the general atmosphere of the community, noting, "The day was warm and there were a number of people walking in or out, seeming to keep to themselves. Overall, i imagine become local inside this community wouldn’t be difficult if you are genuine and honest." This suggests a community where residents generally respect each other's privacy but where opportunities for social interaction exist for those who are open to it. The reviewer's perspective implies that building connections within the community is possible through genuine and honest engagement.
The reviewer concluded with a general thought applicable to any move, suggesting that prospective residents should "Check it out to see for yourself." This emphasizes the subjective nature of community living and the importance of personal experience in making a decision.
Based on these reviews, the environment at Golden Rule Estates appears to be a mixed bag. While many residents seem to maintain their properties well and the location offers conveniences and access to amenities, there are concerns regarding the owner's potential rudeness and disruptive noise from maintenance activities. The overall atmosphere seems to be one where residents generally keep to themselves, but opportunities for community engagement may exist.
The provided information does not offer specific details about the services and features typically found in mobile home parks. These might include water, sewer, and trash services, as well as potential amenities like laundry facilities, community rooms, playgrounds, or pet policies. Without explicit mention in the reviews, it is impossible to confirm which of these are available at Golden Rule Estates. Potential residents would need to inquire directly with the management to obtain this information.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. Details regarding lot rental rates, security deposits, move-in specials, or any other incentives are not mentioned. Interested individuals should contact the park management directly to discuss these financial aspects of residency.
In conclusion, Golden Rule Estates in Lawton, Oklahoma, offers a location with convenient access to stores and entertainment, and the community's overall appearance seems to be maintained by the residents themselves. However, potential drawbacks include reported rudeness from the owner and disruptive noise from maintenance. The community appears to have a somewhat private atmosphere, though opportunities for social interaction may exist. For those searching for "mobile home parks near me" in Lawton, Golden Rule Estates presents a location with both potential benefits and drawbacks that should be carefully weighed based on individual priorities. It is recommended to contact the management directly for detailed information about services, features, and costs, and perhaps even visit the community to form a personal impression.

Apr 07, 2022 · Tess ObenaufWent to view a mobile home there for my family and myself. The park is older and the outsides of the homes are a bit ruff. Now one the brighter side the insides are very well kept, very nice on the inside. The gentleman I spoke with (Erik) was very professional, kind and respectful and knolageable of the homes. They will work with different peoples situations to try their best to get you approved. Very nice staff I would give the staff a 5 out of 5 rating. Go see Erik tell him thomas in 62 sent you.
Feb 03, 2020 · Thomas LambDon’t move here. Don’t. Everything’s broken. Nobody is helpful. Rent is either $700 or $800 a month and this place is just filled with a bunch of trashy, rude people who fight at 2am in the middle of the street. Cops are here EVERYDAY. There’s an abundance of stray cats, skunks, and possums. The owner AND management always write down ur problems on a sticky note to pretend like they’ll fix it but then do NOTHING. $800 a month every month for them to fix NOTHING. Have told them about our AC & leal for THREE MONTHS NOW AND NOBODY HAS CAME TO FIX ANYTHING. I could be living in a HOUSE with a yard and good neighbors for less than this run down place costs me. And EVERY TRAILER IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND ANTS. The only helpful person who works/worked here is Eric. Everyone else is useless and doesn’t care to help you. Only been here a few months and they’ve hired 3 different managers and they’ve all done NOTHING. And I mean actually nothing. Their only concern is getting people to move in. They don’t care about the trailer, lot, or you once you’ve signed the lease.
Sep 27, 2021 · Aubrey BellThe manager was very thorough, down to earth, friendly explaining the details of the lease agreement when we went to the office to see about renting a trailer. They are very reasonable and keep things simple when you sign up for a lease.
