Guadalupe Best RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Canyon Lake, Texas area, Guadalupe Best RV Park, located at 104 GBRV Lp, Canyon Lake, TX 78133, USA, is a facility that warrants consideration. You can reach them for inquiries and reservations at (830) 964-3393 or their mobile number +1 830-964-3393. Situated in a prime location between the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake, this RV park offers potential access to a variety of outdoor recreational activities. However, the available customer reviews present a somewhat mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects and specific policies that potential guests should be aware of.
One reviewer offers a positive "actual legit review," contrasting it with what they perceive as negative feedback from "Karen’s and Kevins." This suggests that experiences at Guadalupe Best RV Park may vary significantly. This reviewer found the park to be "nice" and described the owner, Marc, as "nothing but hospitable and welcoming." They specifically mentioned tent camping right next to the river access with "zero issues." This is a significant positive for those interested in tent camping near the Guadalupe River. The reviewer also noted the affordability of the rate for their family of five plus two dogs, contrasting it favorably with other options in the area. This suggests that Guadalupe Best RV Park might offer competitive pricing, especially for larger families or those traveling with pets.
Furthermore, this positive review highlights the presence of permanent tenants but emphasizes that they were "just as nice and welcoming to us temps." This indicates a potentially friendly and inclusive community atmosphere, where short-term visitors feel welcome alongside long-term residents. The reviewer also appreciated the availability of "many water and electric hookups for our tents" and the convenience of restrooms being "just a few steps away." This suggests that even for tent campers, basic amenities are readily accessible. Finally, the reviewer reiterated the "Perfect location between the river and the lake" as a major advantage and expressed their intention to return, indicating a positive overall experience.
In contrast, another reviewer shares a significantly negative experience, advising others not to "waste your time," particularly if they have a past eviction. This individual recounted their personal situation involving a neighbor dispute leading to an eviction and their interaction with Marc, the owner. According to this review, despite explaining the circumstances of the eviction, Marc stated that they were only accepting RVs from the 2017 model year or newer and only one dog. This policy immediately excluded the reviewer with their 2015 model RV and presumably more than one dog.
The negative reviewer also pointed out perceived inconsistencies in the park's enforcement of its own rules. They mentioned Marc stating that "not any kind of fence for your dog outside is tolerable," yet they observed "one trailer has some kind of addition to their front door using tarps" and "another trailer sitting literally on the ground." This discrepancy in standards, if accurate, could be a source of frustration for guests who feel that rules are not applied fairly or consistently.
The negative reviewer concluded by describing their experience with Marc as "uncaring, inconsiderate" and suggested that he needs to be more understanding of individual circumstances, particularly regarding rental history. This paints a picture of a potentially inflexible management style that may not accommodate guests with specific situations or older RV models.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, potential guests of Guadalupe Best RV Park should be aware of the following:
- **Location:** The park boasts a desirable location between the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake, offering access to water-based recreational activities.
- **Hospitality:** At least one reviewer found the owner, Marc, to be hospitable and welcoming.
- **Community Atmosphere:** There seems to be a friendly interaction between temporary guests and permanent residents.
- **Tent Camping Amenities:** For tent campers, water and electric hookups are available at some sites, and restrooms are conveniently located.
- **Pet Policy:** Be aware of a potential restriction of only one dog per RV or campsite.
- **RV Age Restriction:** The park may have a policy of only accepting RVs from the 2017 model year or newer. This could exclude those with older but well-maintained RVs.
- **Fence Policy:** There may be restrictions on outdoor pet enclosures.
- **Potential Inconsistencies:** One reviewer noted perceived inconsistencies in the enforcement of park rules.
- **Management Flexibility:** Be prepared for potentially strict adherence to park policies regarding RV age and pet limits.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Canyon Lake area, Guadalupe Best RV Park offers a potentially attractive location and some positive aspects, particularly for tent campers and those with newer RVs and one pet. However, it is crucial to be aware of the reported restrictions on RV age and the number of pets, as well as the potential for strict policy enforcement. Prospective guests should contact the park directly to confirm their specific requirements and to inquire about the availability of sites that meet their needs.
To get the most up-to-date information and to avoid any surprises upon arrival, it is highly recommended to call Guadalupe Best RV Park at (830) 964-3393 or +1 830-964-3393. Inquire specifically about their current policies on RV age, pet limits, and any other regulations that might affect your stay. Asking about the different types of RV sites available, the hookup facilities, and any other amenities offered would also be beneficial. Given the mixed reviews, it might also be helpful to inquire about the typical environment and community feel from the management's perspective. By doing so, potential guests can make a more informed decision about whether Guadalupe Best RV Park is the right fit for their travel or long-term stay needs in the Canyon Lake area.

Guadalupe Best RV Park Reviews
Just wanna post an actual legit review in addition to all the Karen’s and Kevins giving bad reviews.. This place is nice. It’s not your River Oaks campsite, but Marc is nothing but hospitable and welcoming. We tent camped right next to the river access, zero issues. We had our family of 5, + 2 dogs and the rate was more than reasonable unlike other spots. Yes there are permanent tenants there, but they were just as nice and welcoming to us temps. The site had many water and electric hookups for our tents, and the restrooms were just a few steps away. Perfect location between the river and the lake. We will absolutely be back!!
Apr 18, 2022 · Lauren RankDon’t waste your time especially if you’ve ever been through an eviction. I experienced my 1st eviction at 52 years old due to a neighbor threatening to kill my cat so I threatened my neighbor back then found myself with an eviction. I explained this to Marc the owner but he then said they are accepting only 2017 model rvs and newer and only 1 dog so no. My 2015 model looks new unlike every trailer there. Before saying no he said not any kind of fence for your dog outside is tolerable yet one trailer has some kind of addition to their front door using tarps. Another trailer sitting literally on the ground. Unfortunately that was my experience with Marc, uncaring, inconsiderate man that needs to come back down to earth and realize not everyone has perfect rental history.
Dec 08, 2024 · Kelly EakinPerfect location. Beautiful scenery and view of damn. Water is like free Cryotherapy plus super clean and clear. One of my favorite places to Kayak, or put a folding chair in the water and relax.

Jun 09, 2019 · EMy family and I just left the park after staying for 2 nights and thought it was wonderful! We spent the day at the river that was a minute walk from our stay which was good for the kids. We have gone to many RV parks surrounding Texas and this park home had the best communication and people out of all! Marc, the owner, was extremely nice and caring, always helping us with recommendations and responding to our messages. We also had such sweet neighbors that welcomed us with kindness!
