This suggests a well-maintained setting that prioritizes a pleasant living atmosphere. One long-term resident of 15 years notes the community's dedication to "upkeep and keeping us from seeing eyesores," indicating an effort to maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment. For families with children, the community seems to foster a social atmosphere, with one former resident mentioning that their "children loved living here because there was so many kids to play with." This suggests a family-friendly environment where children have opportunities for interaction and play. While primarily a residential community, the emphasis on beauty and peacefulness could be appealing to those seeking a longer-term RV stay in a tranquil setting near Westbrook.
In terms of services and amenities relevant to those searching for 'RV parks near me', Hamlet Manufactured Home Community offers some features, although it's important to note that it may differ from traditional short-term RV parks. Residents have mentioned the addition of new recreational elements such as a "new swing, slice, etc." This suggests an ongoing effort to enhance the quality of life within the community. A basketball court is also available for residents' use. It's worth noting that a former dog park is no longer present. While specific services tailored for RVs, such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer), laundry facilities, or dedicated RV dump stations, are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, these are crucial considerations for RV owners. Potential residents should directly inquire about the availability and specifics of these services when contacting Hamlet Manufactured Home Community.

The former resident expressed a desire for more community facilities such as a "clubhouse/gym/pool," noting that other parks with similar or lower fees offer these amenities. The current recreational features include a basketball court and some swings. The removal of the dog park might be a drawback for pet owners. The reported safety and the social opportunities for children could be attractive features for some. Prospective residents should prioritize direct communication with the management to understand the availability of RV hookups, the specific costs involved, and the full range of services offered to RVs. Understanding the community's rules and regulations for RV living is also essential to ensure a comfortable and compatible long-term stay.
In conclusion, Hamlet Manufactured Home Community presents a unique option when considering 'RV parks near me', particularly for those seeking a longer-term, quiet, and community-oriented environment in Westbrook, Maine. While it may not offer the same suite of amenities as a traditional short-term RV park, its beauty, peacefulness, and sense of security, as reported by residents, could be appealing. However, potential RV residents must carefully consider the cost of lot fees and the availability of essential RV services by directly contacting the management at (207) 856-7762 or +1 207-856-7762 to gather detailed and specific information relevant to their needs.

Hamlet Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Hamlet has added a new swing, slice, etc. To the park. They do great at upkeep and keeping us from seeing eyesore. I've been here 15yrs with no vandalism or unresolved issues.
Jan 06, 2025 · Kelly D'pickles!I lived here for about 3 years. My family has lived here for a very long time. It is a beautiful park, and for the most part very quiet and peaceful. My children loved living here because there was so many kids to play with. I will say that for a trailer park it is very pricey what they charge for lot fees 600+ a month, and every year it goes up. I wish that for the money they charge that they would have something like a clubhouse/gym/pool something for the community. Other parks are a lot cheaper and they have pools etc. Here they have a basketball court, and a few swings, they had a dog park but that’s gone now. If you don’t have a mortgage and buy your trailer outright it’s not that bad price wise. They were always fair to me, and worked with me when I needed assistance.
