Blue Haven MHP Introduce
For local users in the Saco, Maine area exploring "rv parks near me" for potential long-term living situations, Blue Haven MHP, located at 885 Portland Rd, Saco, ME 04072, presents a mobile home park option. It can be contacted at (207) 282-1800 or +1 207-282-1800 for inquiries. It is important for prospective residents to consider all aspects of a potential community, and publicly available reviews can offer insights into the experiences of current residents. The following introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Blue Haven MHP based on recent customer feedback found online.
The environment of Blue Haven MHP, while not explicitly detailed in terms of landscaping or specific natural features, is implied to be a residential park setting in Saco, Maine. Its location on Portland Road suggests accessibility to local amenities and transportation routes in the Saco area. However, recent reviews raise concerns about the upkeep of the park's infrastructure. One resident noted a decline in "road maintenance" since new ownership took over. This suggests that while the physical location might be convenient, the internal environment of the park, in terms of its maintained infrastructure, may be a point of consideration for potential residents. The planned expansion to include 38 more mobile homes could potentially impact the existing environment, both in terms of density and the demand on existing infrastructure and services. For those considering Blue Haven MHP as one of their "rv parks near me" for long-term living, assessing the current state of the park's environment and potential future changes would be prudent.
The services at Blue Haven MHP, according to recent reviews, have undergone changes that have impacted residents. A significant point of concern is the increase in rent and the introduction of new fees. Residents report that water, which was previously included in the rent under the previous local owner, is now an additional cost. Furthermore, there are complaints about fees being threatened for various issues, such as the handling of leaves and debris. The process for disposing of these items is described as cumbersome, with specific days for placement that are not consistently followed by pickup, leading to potential fines. In contrast to the previous management, where the park was reportedly maintained "round the clock," current residents express dissatisfaction with the level of maintenance, stating that despite rent increases attributed to maintenance costs, they have seen "no maintenance all year." Safety concerns raised by residents have allegedly not been addressed. The reviews suggest a shift from a more service-oriented approach under local ownership to a more fee-driven model under the new ownership from California. This information is crucial for anyone considering Blue Haven MHP as one of their "rv parks near me," as the cost of living and the level of provided services appear to be significant issues for current residents.
Several features of Blue Haven MHP can be gleaned from the reviews, although not all are positive. The fact that it is a mobile home park indicates that it offers spaces for manufactured homes, and there are plans to expand with 38 more units. This suggests that the park is intended for long-term residency rather than short-term RV stays, although it might still be relevant for those seeking "rv parks near me" for extended periods if RVs are permitted. A potential feature could be the sense of community that may have existed under previous ownership, as one resident expressed a wish for the tenants to have had the option to purchase the park, indicating a level of attachment to the community. However, the reviews also highlight a decline in communication with the new management, with complaints about a "new company never responding back to them after writing to them." This lack of responsiveness could be a significant drawback for residents needing to address concerns or request assistance. The introduction of Homeowners Association (HOA) style fees, coupled with the monthly mobile home lot rent, is another feature mentioned, with residents feeling that they are paying "too much money in fees with little in return" compared to the services they expected from an HOA. The planned expansion might be seen as a feature by some, offering more housing options, but current residents view it with concern, suggesting that existing issues should be addressed before further expansion.
Promotional information for Blue Haven MHP is not directly provided in the reviews. However, the very existence of the mobile home park and the ongoing expansion plans could be seen as an implicit promotion of housing availability in the Saco area. The fact that new tenants are reportedly charged $750 in rent suggests a price point that the new owners believe the market will bear. However, the strong negative feedback regarding rent increases, declining maintenance, and poor communication significantly overshadows any implicit promotion. The reviews paint a picture of a community where long-term residents on fixed incomes are finding it increasingly difficult to afford to live, and where the level of service does not seem to justify the increasing costs. For local users exploring "rv parks near me" or considering Blue Haven MHP for long-term living, it is crucial to weigh the potential availability of a space against the reported negative experiences of current residents. Any promotional materials or claims from the management should be carefully considered in light of the feedback provided by those currently living in the park.
For local users seeking "rv parks near me" or considering a move to a mobile home park in Saco, Maine, the information available regarding Blue Haven MHP suggests the need for careful consideration and further investigation. While the location in Saco might be appealing, the recent reviews raise significant concerns about the management, increasing costs, declining maintenance, and communication. The experiences of current residents, particularly regarding rent affordability for locals on fixed incomes and the perceived lack of value for increased fees, should be taken seriously. Potential residents might want to directly contact the management to inquire about these issues and seek assurances about future improvements. It would also be beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the living conditions at Blue Haven MHP before making a decision.
In conclusion, based on recent online reviews, Blue Haven MHP in Saco, Maine, presents a situation where significant concerns have been raised by current residents regarding rent increases, a perceived decline in maintenance and services, and poor communication with the new management. While the park offers a location in Saco and is undergoing expansion, these factors should be carefully weighed by local users exploring "rv parks near me" or considering long-term residency. The feedback suggests a need for potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence and seek clear information from the management regarding the issues raised to ensure it meets their needs and expectations for a residential community.

Blue Haven MHP Reviews
The rent has increased a lot since the owners from California bought this park. Before (Previous local owner) Michelle sold the park to them, she maintained it round the clock, now they threaten you with fees for everything, if you pick up your leaves or debris, they are only supposed to be put out two days of the week, then they never come pick them up on those two days and then you are supposed to bring them back in or be fined. The road maintenance has gone way down hill, but our rent keeps increasing significantly when on a fixed low income budget. We are told rents are increasing due to maintenance costs when there has been no maintenance all year. When I brought up a safety concern in my yard from 2 people who fell and got hurt they looked at it and did nothing. Now they want to build 38 more mobile homes and our rent just increased again. Its all about more profit for them and we are paying for all this work. The locals cant afford to live here anymore. I have family that won't move in this park because the rent is 750 dollars for new tenants. This is not affordable for families or locals on fixed incomes. In addition to this we never had to pay for water it was included in our rent, not anymore. We can't get anything fixed because we have no extra money in order to hire anyone. HOA fees usually take care of there parks and pick up your bagged leaves and branches, take care of the roads, and don't threaten more fees on you for basic services etc. Have to pay monthly for your mobile home too in addition to HOA fee. Too much money in fees with little in return. It was better maintained with the park owner being local. I wish the tenants were given the option to purchase the park, but no option was given to us. Several residents also complain about this new company never responding back to them after writing to them. Communication needs to be improved. I really hope to see our services and Communication improve drastically in this park, so for now I'm only able to rate you two stars. I really think that before they start to expand the park and make 38 more homes, that they fix what they already have.

Dec 06, 2022 · HollyI WAS interested in moving here. Well, I still am. But I will not buy from Elegant Homes....and if I have to go through that sales dept to buy a used home in the park, and not the owner themselves, then I wont buy in Blue Haven. I will be up in a couple weeks, and will go to the office to find out I guess. I certainly don't even want to speak to anyone in sales. Michelle is not a good representative of that company. My rating is for Sales at Elegant Homes. Michelle, in sales, responded in a quick manner by email a couple times....at first. Then I requested information. She sent an envelope. The model numbers in pamphlets were not the models pictures shown on website. So I emailed her and asked about that. I loved the looks of the pics they showed on website. I also was interested in some modifications in the new purchase. I didnt want the bedroom closet shelves, or bathroom mirrors. When she didn't respond after 4 days, I texted her, and mentioned she didn't seem quite so eager to help, thinking maybe she didn't know how to respond to my modification questions...because she didnt respond like the e/mails before, and told her I hoped she wasn't out sick. She texted back, said she was sorry, and was busy with incoming new homes. She stated she would get back with me by the end of the week. And that was last week. It is now the following Wed. , so needless to say, it's my opinion she's a bad rep for Elegant Homes. Hello...i want to BUY A HOME...chuckle...I will not buy a new home from them. I waited long enough. Thank you so much Muchelle.Signed,Cali Cote, a 38 year, back and forth Maine or Fl resident- now this time, a 1 1/2 year Fl. resident -Hurricane Irma survivor -who wants her roots replanted back home....for good...chuckle.
