Hawaiian Gardens/Holly Village Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" in the Holly, Michigan area? Consider Hawaiian Gardens/Holly Village, located at 4261 Grange Hall Rd Site 1B, Holly, MI 48442, USA. This community primarily functions as a manufactured home park but may also offer accommodations for RV travelers seeking a place to stay in the region. It's important to note that online reviews present a mixed perspective, which should be carefully considered when evaluating this option for your RV needs.
One reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction, citing "outrageous rent and water bills," "zero amenities," and "crooked management." They also mention "ridiculous late fees" and suggest that the pricing is not in line with the traditional affordability associated with manufactured home communities, advising potential residents to research lawsuits against Sun Communities, the apparent management company. This perspective raises concerns about the cost of staying at Hawaiian Gardens/Holly Village, even for short-term RVers, and the overall management practices.
Conversely, another long-term resident has shared a highly positive experience of living in Holly Village since 2017. They commend the "amazing" management team, describing them as "friendly; courteous; professional; knowledgeable; consistent; helpful; and more!" This reviewer highlights the speed and clarity with which maintenance issues are handled, providing a specific example of a water main break where the park manager, Sarah, demonstrated exceptional oversight and the subsequent repair was completed efficiently, even with careful reinstallation of personal landscaping. This positive account suggests that for some residents, the on-site management is a significant asset.
Further positive aspects mentioned by this long-term resident include the ongoing efforts to improve the community by systematically replacing older, poorly maintained homes with new ones. This indicates a potential for an improving environment within the park over time. They also praise the neighborly atmosphere, the lack of theft or vandalism, and the consistent enforcement of community rules, which contributes to a stable living environment. The availability of a clubhouse for resident use, even for family gatherings, is also noted as a benefit. The only mentioned missing amenity is a community playground.
Considering the "RV parks near me" category, the presence of long-term residents who appreciate the management and the community suggests that short-term RV visitors might also benefit from these aspects. The reported quiet and neighborly atmosphere could be appealing to RVers seeking a more community-oriented stay compared to a transient-focused RV park. However, the significant concerns raised by the first reviewer regarding costs and management practices cannot be ignored and warrant careful consideration.

Potential RV visitors should weigh these contrasting perspectives carefully and prioritize direct communication with the park management to obtain specific details about RV accommodations, services, and fees. A thorough inquiry will help determine if Hawaiian Gardens/Holly Village is a suitable option for your RV travel needs in the Holly area.

Hawaiian Gardens/Holly Village Reviews
If you want to pay outrageous rent and water bills for a place with zero amenities and crooked management this is the place for you. They charge ridiculous late fees almost criminal in such a messed up economy forget the days of trailer Park living being affordable. For the prices they charge you could mortgage a mansion. Sun homes communities is crooked and vindictive just Google the lawsuits brought against them tell you all you need to know
Jan 03, 2025 · Mark PajtasWe've lived in Holly Village since 2017. By the time we were poised to buy, Covid hit and the market went crazy. But, we've been more than happy to bide our time as renter's. The management team is amazing: friendly; courteous; professional; knowlegable; consistent; helpful; and more! Maintenance issues are handled at lightning speed. If they can't resolve the issue immediately, the solution is scheduled and communicated clearly. Recently, we experienced a water main break right next to our home. It was an "all hands" situation as water was gushing up from the ground, flooding our area. I was impressed to see my park manager, Sarah, overseeing the whole operation well into the night. The workers brought in to fix it had to tear up the paver stone walk-way that my husband put in in the fall. We were a little bummed, but grateful to see that the workmen had removed them carefully without breaking a single one. Oh, well, we thought. We'll just put everything back in the spring and forgo the handy kitchen entrance until then. Nope! Two days after the repair, the 8ft x 10ft hole was filled in and our pavers were re-installed to perfection, along with our solar walkway lights. This is an older manufactured home community. However, at every opportunity older poorly maintained homes are systematically removed and beautiful new homes take their place. The people we've met are kind and neighborly without being too intrusive. We've NEVER had a problem with theft or vandilism. The staff holds all tenants to the community rules. I'll admit that due to busy schedules and unexpected stints of rain, we too have received the occasional "mow your lawn or be charged" notice. That's just fine! They have a standard that is clear and consistent. We've even benefitted from reserving the clubhouse for family gettogether's at Christmas time!! The only thing that's missing is a community playground. But, I wouldn't even think of leaving less than a 5 star review. If there's anyway for Sun Communities to figure out a space for a playground, that'd be great. But, my grandkids regularly appreciate the little dock on the pond and the picnic tables placed there. Keep doing what your doing, team. You're awesome and we appreciate you!!!
Dec 18, 2024 · Bethany FosterStill in awe at how good Sarah and the maintenance guys are. We looked into other communities in the area that made lots of promises prior to moving in. But the team here are the only ones that actually followed through, and delivered great results and a great place to live. The community is great. Families of good, honest, friendly people that are nice to be around and live near. After looking at homes all around Oakland & Genesee county where you hear road noise all day, or deal with neighbors with no respect for anyone else. We feel very lucky we found a home here.Lots of parks, fishing, & nature nearby to!
