Hidden Glades Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me," you might also be exploring different types of residential communities, including manufactured home communities. Hidden Glades is located at 1340 Post Dr NE Suite 2, Belmont, MI 49306, USA. You can contact them at (616) 290-1636 or their mobile number +1 616-290-1636.
It is important to note that Hidden Glades is a manufactured home community, where residents typically own their homes and lease the land. This is distinct from an RV park, where the primary offering is temporary rental of spaces for recreational vehicles. Therefore, while you might be using a platform that lists "RV parks near me," this introduction will focus on Hidden Glades as a manufactured home community for potential long-term residents.
Recent reviews from individuals who appear to be residents of Hidden Glades offer a mixed perspective, with some significant concerns raised. One long-term resident who lived there for ten years noted a decline in the community over the past five years, contrasting a previously "amazing community and upkept lots" with the current situation that led to their decision to leave. This resident cited ongoing reconstruction for three years with two ownership changes as disruptive factors. They mentioned the removal of previously free amenities that are now being rebuilt as paid amenities, as well as poor upkeep of roadways leading to flat tires and patchwork repairs. Overgrown empty lots, unfinished new homes, and overcrowding due to the close placement of new homes (allegedly violating legal setbacks) were also mentioned, contributing to scarce parking. This reviewer also highlighted rent increases, changes to the lease agreement, and instances of amenities access being revoked for paying tenants. They further claimed that management engages in character smearing in response to negative reviews and neglects pest control in common areas, attempting to shift this responsibility to tenants. The reviewer also mentioned a repeatedly unresolved street light issue and unevenly graded roadways causing winter ice and rainwater pooling.
Despite these strong criticisms, another reviewer found the "Community is nice and clean" and "Pretty drama free." However, this resident noted recent increases in rent coupled with a decrease in services, specifically regarding trash service and the lack of recycling cans, which they found insufficient for a family. A suggestion was made for longer hours at the rec room and gym to accommodate parents.
A third reviewer described Hidden Glades as an "overall decent place to live" but noted that it has become "definitely louder than it used to be" with the addition of new homes and people.
Considering the environment of Hidden Glades, the reviews present a somewhat contradictory picture. One long-term resident describes a decline with poor upkeep and construction disruptions, while another finds it "nice and clean." The increase in the number of homes is noted by one reviewer as contributing to increased noise levels. The condition of the roadways is a significant concern raised by one resident, citing poor repair and grading issues.
In terms of services, the information is also mixed. The long-term resident mentioned the removal of free amenities and the alleged lack of pest control and adequate street lighting maintenance. The second reviewer pointed out changes in trash service and the absence of recycling, along with a suggestion for improved hours at the recreational facilities. Snow removal was not explicitly mentioned in these reviews, unlike in some others for similar communities.
Features of Hidden Glades include mobile home lots for residents who own their homes, roadways throughout the community, and apparently some amenities like a rec room and gym. The ongoing reconstruction and addition of new homes are current features that are impacting the community, according to one review. The proximity of new homes to each other, allegedly violating setback laws, and the resulting parking scarcity are also notable features.
Promotional information for Hidden Glades would typically focus on the sense of community, the availability of homesites, and any amenities offered. One reviewer did mention that the "Community is nice," which could be a positive point. However, the significant concerns raised about management practices, maintenance, and increasing costs need to be considered. Any objective promotion would need to acknowledge the ongoing changes and perhaps highlight any improvements being made or planned to address the residents' concerns. It might also emphasize the aspects that some residents still find positive, such as the cleanliness mentioned by one reviewer.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," Hidden Glades, as a manufactured home community, caters to a different housing need than temporary RV parking. It provides a setting for individuals and families seeking a more permanent living arrangement in a manufactured home. Therefore, its relevance to someone specifically looking for "RV parks near me" might be if they are also considering manufactured home communities as a longer-term housing option.
To gain a more balanced perspective, it would be advisable to seek additional reviews or contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers to understand their response to the concerns raised and to get information about any ongoing improvements or the overall vision for the community. A visit to the property might also provide valuable insight into the current environment and upkeep.
In conclusion, the reviews for Hidden Glades present a community undergoing significant change and facing some challenges related to management, maintenance, and increasing costs, according to some long-term residents. While one reviewer found the community "nice and clean," others raised concerns about infrastructure, amenities, and management practices. Potential residents should carefully consider these perspectives and seek further information to determine if Hidden Glades meets their needs and expectations for a manufactured home community.

Hidden Glades Reviews
I've lived here for ten years, and though the first five were great with an amazing community and upkept lots, now that couldn't be further from the case the following is why we are leaving. This mobile home park has been torn apart due to 3 years of still ongoing re construction and ownership changes twice now. Tearing out ammenitys that they let go just to increase rent to build newer amenities that they charge for that were once free. Countless flat tires from poor upkeep and worn down roadways with sunk in asphalt that they patchwork into barley functional/safe just to save a buck. They left a third of the park unkept and overgrown in the empty lots, making excuses such as we never took care of that before, so why would we now. A sixth of the park with new homes sitting unfinished for over a year at a time. Also, if you're looking for privacy and / or a yard, this isn't the place for you as they have moved new homes closer than leagal lara law allows (way less than 20' by law). This also means that parking spaces have been getting scarce as they have yet to increase parking area whilst adding more trailors than ever before. I hope things turn around for the better soon, but we won't hold our breath. Important to note, new tenents of last year are already listing their homes and moving out . Be careful as they made many addendum to the lease agreement to raise rent and remove responsibilities within a week of notifying you. My rent has gone up 200 dollars since i first lived here all within the past two years and soon to be more. They also take amenities access away from paying tennents for various biased reasons.Additionally, they are unashamed to smear your character, as seen in their reply to my review and to multiple reviews other tennents have left. This park lies and coaxes you into a sense of security, only to betray your trust. They wont even bother to upkeep insects sprays or measures for flee tick and mesquitto and jap. Bettles, and try to put pest control on their tenants (when i treat my yard that pushes all the critters your way, neighbor...) But enough said on my end, let the pictures do the talking as they blatantly are unashamed and are unwilling to appropriately address concerns and obligations of their tennents profesionally and sincerely and often lie overstating thier contribution. They say they owned the park for the past 30 years yet how is it not their fault it got so delapitated and needs such extensive repairs to continue to opperate?P.s. My streat light is still out after the more than fourth repair request in person on the portal and via text. Putting it simply, if things were better, i would change my review as there is no benefit for me to leave a negative review. Do better, dont retaliate and follow the law. Truth be told, your reply to this is simply not factual aspire community. ****update roadway is uneavenly graded, causing black ice build up in winter/ pools of standing water in rain without proper roadcare or drainage
Dec 17, 2024 · Wade W. (Realtalkreviews)Community is nice and clean. Pretty drama free. However, they have been in recent months increasing rent and decreasing amount of things we get (trash service in particular, used to be able to have 3 bags next to can- now we are allowed none and they don’t give us recycling cans. 1 can is not large enough for an entire family for a week).Would be nice if they also had longer/overnight hours for rec room and gym for people who have kids so can’t workout while they’re awake.Overall decent place to live, but with all the new homes and people here- definitely louder than it used to be.
Jan 13, 2025 · Amanda ConstantBeautiful homes in a beautiful, peaceful, and safe community. Amazing amenities like playground, pool, and clubhouse with a soon to be pickle-ball court.
May 03, 2025 · Amy Marie AndersonWay over priced. Also basically feels like you're living in a construction site paying this much shouldn't feel this way
Apr 15, 2025 · Nick ScottI have lived in this community for roughly 6 years now. Since Aspire Communities has taken over, and Jesse Heiney has taken the roll of the Community Manager, there have been so many great, positive changes. The community has been going through a makeover, and it is really taking shape to be one of, if not thee premier manufactured home communities in West Michigan. The new clubhouse, pool, kids splash pad, playground, is absolutely beautiful. One of the local churches (Frontline Community Church) has also come in a number of times, and helped the community and those in need of help with various clean up tasks like painting, power washing, etc. Jesse has organized several community events with great success as well, so people are coming out and getting to know their neighbors. They have several brand new manufactured homes that have been brought in and listed for sale as well. So if you are looking for great people, a great organization, and good affordable housing, this is the place. If you have younger kids, they will love the pool, splash pad, and playground. I know that more great things are on the horizon for this place, and the residents there. I am excited to be able to watch this continued transformation and growth. Great job Aspire Communities, and Jesse, Hats off to you!! You are all awesome!! Keep up the great work!!
