Highridge MHC Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Phenix City, Alabama area, you might also be exploring options for mobile home communities that offer a more permanent residential setting. Highridge MHC, located at 200 Logan Dr, Phenix City, AL 36869, USA, is one such community. While it may appear in searches for "RV parks near me" due to the availability of land for manufactured homes, it primarily functions as a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents. Understanding the environment, services, and features of Highridge MHC is crucial for local users considering this as a potential housing option.
Based on available customer reviews, it's important to approach an evaluation of Highridge MHC with a balanced perspective. One detailed review raises several concerns regarding the management and maintenance aspects of the community. The reviewer alleges instances of "greedy" practices, such as the addition of extra charges to accounts with delays in rectification. Furthermore, the timeliness of repairs appears to be an issue, with a reported delay of one to two weeks in fixing a kicked-in door frame despite repeated requests. The same review mentions a persistent mold problem in a bathroom that allegedly went unaddressed, with the reviewer stating they had camera evidence of no maintenance visits for this issue.
The functionality of essential appliances also seems to be a point of concern, as the reviewer recounts a prolonged issue with a stove that required multiple work orders to resolve. Additionally, the review raises significant security and safety concerns, citing instances of "gun shots by the youngins in the neighborhood" who are described as wearing masks and being disruptive. This same group of children is also accused of setting fire to a fence near the playground, indicating potential safety risks within the community. The ease of breaking into the mobile homes is also highlighted, based on the reviewer's personal experience of being locked out. Moreover, the quality of basic utilities is questioned, with complaints about rancid-smelling water and ineffective heating and air conditioning systems.
The experience with the office staff appears to be mixed. While the reviewer describes most of the office personnel as "sweet," they recount a negative interaction with a specific staff member with white hair. This individual is described as "cocky, dismissive, and rushed" during the initial leasing process, allegedly leading to a failure to disclose important details about the lease agreement and first month's payment, resulting in an unexpectedly high initial payment. The reviewer concludes by expressing hope for improvements in maintenance, security, and overall hospitality, noting that the mold issue remained unresolved at the time of their departure.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback. In contrast to the negative experiences, another review offers a positive perspective on the maintenance service. This review specifically commends the "maintenance man Adam" for fixing their air conditioner promptly on April 21, 2025. The reviewer describes Adam as "a wonderful man very kind" and expresses gratitude for his efficient and effective service. This positive feedback suggests that there may be individual staff members within the maintenance team who provide excellent service.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, the environment and services at Highridge MHC appear to be areas with potential inconsistencies. While some residents may experience issues with maintenance responsiveness, utility quality, and security, others have had positive interactions with specific maintenance personnel. The sense of community is not explicitly detailed in these reviews, but the mention of neighborhood dynamics, both positive (quiet at night in the surrounding area, as per a review from a different mobile home park in the vicinity) and negative (disruptive children, as per the detailed negative review), suggests a varied social environment.
For local users considering Highridge MHC as a potential housing option within the broader category of "RV parks near me" (in the sense of providing land for manufactured homes), it is essential to weigh the potential benefits against the reported drawbacks. The address at 200 Logan Dr offers a specific location within Phenix City, AL 36869. The availability of mobile home lots or rentals could provide an affordable housing solution compared to traditional real estate or apartments. However, the concerns raised about maintenance, security, and management responsiveness should be carefully considered.
Given the information available, prospective residents of Highridge MHC should consider the following points:
- Potential Maintenance Issues: Be aware of reported delays in repairs and unresolved maintenance problems like mold.
- Security Concerns: Take note of the reported incidents of gunshots and the perceived ease of breaking into homes.
- Variable Management Experience: Understand that interactions with office staff may vary, with some being helpful and others potentially less so.
- Utility Quality: Inquire about the quality and reliability of water, heating, and air conditioning systems.
- Positive Maintenance Interactions: Recognize that some maintenance staff members are reported to be helpful and effective.
- Location in Phenix City: The address provides a specific geographic context within the local area.

Highridge MHC Reviews
These are accounts of mine and others that I have talked to. First things first, they ARE GREEDY!!! Adding extra charges to your account and taking their sweet time to change it. Same with taking their time to fix anything. My door got kicked in and the bottom of the frame waa off, it took them about a week or two of me begging them to come fix it. There’s been mold in the back bathroom the entire time. No attempt to fix it to my knowledge. I had cameras and never saw nobody come by for it. My stove took forever to fix, they said they fixed it the first time which had to leave to another work order being put in. Gun shots by the youngins in the neighborhood who walk around with their sheisty masks on being loud and rambunctious. Same kids who sat a fire on the fence to the playground. My first month the person across from me got their house broken into, which it is very easy to break into these houses on account of me being locked out a couple of times. Water smells rancid. Heating and air is just as bad. Could have on the heat for an hour and not feel a thing. The people in the office are sweet so far except the guy with the white hair. First got there he was very cocky, dismissive, and rushed the entire process, which caused him to fail to mention SEVERAL THINGS about my lease and payment for the first months rent (no security deposit included) which ended with me paying 1300$ total. As I have left today, there is still mold in the bathroom. I hope this place steps up in maintenance, security, and overall hospitality.
Jan 24, 2025 · Phoenix EdwardsThe maintenance man Adam came an fixed are air conditioner on 04 21 2025 he is a wonderfull man very kind I thank him for fixing are A C he did a great job
Apr 21, 2025 · Nancy RogersJust don't move here!!! First, it took me 10 days to get my thermostat for my A/C fixed. I couldn't adjust the thermostat or anything with 100 degree weather. Nothing was done until I let them know that in the state of AL you only have 14 days to fix the problem from when it's first reported. Next, we were told that the trailer is sprayed monthly for bugs. We've had bugs since move in. I let the property manager know, nothing done about it. After 2 months of living here and nor seeing a bug man, my husband went to the main office to complain. I told him to ask for corporates number. They refused to give him the number, which is illegal. I'm handling that tomorrow. Finally, my husband saw water running our from under a trailer and notified maintenance. They came and checked it out. Pulled up the skirting and said that it was the shower leaking and he wasn't worried about it cause he only had 5 more days here. My husband said so you are just going to let it mold and rot the wood?? Yeah, like I said in the beginning, just don't!!
Aug 28, 2024 · Claudia BarberThe family and I love it here. Management is great, park has nice amenities. My one complaint is the kids walking in the middle of the road and not moving over when they see cars. It nice and peaceful here. Maintenance is always on top of everything and the head guy is professional and does his best to help everyone. One major downfall is the teenagers cutting across properties and thinking your carport is their hangout spot.
May 11, 2024 · Benito “Coach Cody” AlejandroWe loved it here 4 years ago, absolutely loved Mrs Mae but then she fell sick and now got new management, since then my rent has went up 3 times for ridiculous reasons! Not to mention when I needed something repaired Mrs. Mae was on her stuff, all I had to do was text her and things were done the next day, these days you need to get something repaired you got to go online and go through all these steps and your not fixing to see nobody repair anything, this place has gotten horrible, me and my family need to GO.
