Holiday Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lakeland, Florida area, Holiday Mobile Home Park, located at 4141 New Tampa Hwy, Lakeland, FL 33815, USA, presents itself as a gated community that accommodates pets and offers a range of amenities. While primarily a mobile home park catering to long-term residents, understanding its features and the experiences of its residents can be valuable for anyone considering it as a potential living option, whether with an RV for an extended stay or as a permanent home in a manufactured dwelling.
One of the notable features mentioned in the reviews is that Holiday Mobile Home Park is a "gated community." This suggests a focus on security and controlled access, which can be a significant draw for residents who prioritize safety and a sense of privacy. Gated communities often provide an added layer of security compared to non-gated residential areas.
Another positive aspect highlighted is that the park "do allow animals, with a limit of two, breed restricted." This pet-friendly policy is an important consideration for many individuals and families. However, the mention of a limit of two pets and breed restrictions indicates that potential residents should inquire about the specific rules and regulations regarding pets to ensure their animals are permitted. Understanding these restrictions is crucial for a smooth transition into the community.
However, one reviewer offers a more critical perspective, stating, "Not as nice as their pics..." This suggests that the visual representation of the park, possibly online or in promotional materials, may not accurately reflect the current reality of the community. Potential residents should be aware of this discrepancy and ideally visit the park in person to form their own assessment of its aesthetic appeal and overall condition.
The same reviewer also mentions the gated aspect and the pet policy, indicating these are known and acknowledged features of the park. This implies that while the visual appeal might not meet expectations set by promotional materials, the security and pet-friendly environment are tangible aspects of the community.
Another reviewer focuses on the potential for improvement, stating, "I think if some of the older mobile homes were to be renovated and maybe were a little bit larger, it would make a nice community..." This suggests that the park may have a number of older, potentially smaller mobile homes. While the reviewer believes that renovations and larger home sizes could enhance the community, this also implies that the current housing stock might be a mix of ages and sizes.
A significant concern raised by this reviewer is the parking situation: "...but there is hardly room to park, whether you are the owner or just visiting." Limited parking can be a major inconvenience for both residents and their guests. It can lead to frustration, difficulty in accessing homes, and potential issues with traffic flow within the park. This is a crucial factor to consider for anyone with vehicles or frequent visitors.
On a more positive note, a long-term resident of 6 1/2 years offers a favorable opinion: "Hi anybody thinking about moving to Holiday Mobile Home park? It’s a great place. Many amenities and nice people living here: I’ve been here 6 1/2 years and been very happy." This testimonial provides a valuable insight into the lived experience of at least one resident, highlighting "many amenities" and "nice people" as key positives. The fact that this resident has been happy living there for an extended period suggests a stable and welcoming community for some.
The mention of "many amenities" is significant, as it indicates that Holiday Mobile Home Park likely offers facilities and services beyond just the basic infrastructure for mobile homes. These amenities could include:
- A clubhouse or community center for social gatherings and activities.
- Recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, or other sports areas.
- Laundry facilities for residents' convenience.
- Potentially organized social events or activities.
- Basic maintenance services for the park grounds.
However, the specific nature and quality of these amenities are not detailed in the reviews, so prospective residents should inquire about what is available.
The contrasting views in the reviews highlight the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating a potential living situation. While one reviewer expresses concerns about the visual appeal and parking, another long-term resident praises the amenities and the people, indicating a positive overall experience.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Lakeland, it would be important to determine if Holiday Mobile Home Park accommodates RVs and, if so, what types of sites and amenities are available for RV travelers. Mobile home parks sometimes have limited or no specific facilities for RVs, as their infrastructure is primarily designed for manufactured homes. Inquiring about the park's policies on RV stays, the availability of hookups (water, sewer, electricity), and the parking situation for RVs would be essential.
In conclusion, Holiday Mobile Home Park in Lakeland, FL, is a gated community that allows pets (with restrictions) and, according to one long-term resident, offers "many amenities" and a friendly atmosphere. However, potential residents should be aware that the visual appeal may not match promotional materials, and parking appears to be a significant concern. The presence of a happy long-term resident suggests that the park can be a great place to live for some, but it is crucial to weigh the positive aspects (gated security, pet-friendly policy, amenities, friendly people) against the potential drawbacks (visual discrepancies, limited parking) and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision. If you are considering Holiday Mobile Home Park, contacting the management at the provided phone number to inquire about their policies on RVs (if applicable), pet regulations, parking availability, and the specific amenities offered would be a prudent step.

Dec 31, 2024 · Jimmy LondonOur band, SmoothSentiment, had the honor of performing for Holiday Mobile Home Park for New Years Eve & our first impression was how beautiful the park looked. Upon bringing in the equipment, we were greeted with extremely pleasant personnel setting up the room. Ralph went out of his to explain the outlets & lighting arrangements, which was very helpful. Everyone during the evening was very cheerful & nice. Faith was a doll. The whole experience was very memorable. They defined the term 'Diamond in the Rough' 😀✨️
Jan 02, 2024 · Stephen LaLondeThank you Ms. Alesha Washington for your amazing customer service. I was able to have the best wedding reception a bride could ask for. We were even able to get a room 2 days before Christmas with no complications!! My favorite go to hotel for our vacations.
Jan 12, 2024 · Jolena “Lena” PooleVery clean and maintained. We bought a mobile home July 31. We were told lot rent would be $880. Month later oops, corner lots are $920. Few days received bill for insurance assessment $65.20. a week later a notice of lot rent increase. Starting 1/1 $1030. We sunk All of our savings into buying our mobile home. They gave us nothing before closing. I requested lot rental agreement and rules for park. We received the rules after parking illegally. Owner sits in Tennessee ripping every one off. What can we do?
