Great cabin camping!! Cornet Bay and the facilities are beautiful. We rented this space for a scouting trip and were really impressed with the facilities.Great experience, I can't wait to find a reason to go back! Both the facility manager, and the ranger we met were so helpful and kind. The bunk houses are recently renovated, clean, and have very comfortable camp pad/mattresses. The recreation hall had plenty of chairs, tables, and space, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc. There are multiple hikes with clear signage and detailed maps available.I can't speak to the main lodge/commercial kitchen smaller cabins as we didn't use them. - Leia Davis

Based on enthusiastic reviews from recent visitors, this facility boasts beautiful surroundings, excellent amenities, and helpful staff, making it an ideal choice for various group outings, including family gatherings and scouting trips.

The environment surrounding Cornet Bay Resident Group Camp is consistently described as "beautiful," with specific mention of Cornet Bay itself. This suggests a picturesque setting, likely involving waterfront views and access to the natural beauty of the bay area. Such an environment provides a stunning backdrop for a group camping experience, offering opportunities for scenic walks, potential water-related activities (though not explicitly detailed), and a generally pleasant atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment of the stay. The location within the Cornet Bay area implies proximity to the natural features and potentially recreational opportunities associated with the bay.

The services and features of Cornet Bay Resident Group Camp appear to be particularly well-suited for group use. One reviewer who rented the space for a scouting trip was "really impressed with the facilities," indicating that the campground is well-equipped to handle larger groups and their needs. The presence of "bunk houses" is a key feature, and these are highlighted as "recently renovated, clean, and have very comfortable camp pad/mattresses." This is a significant advantage, as comfortable sleeping arrangements are crucial for a positive camping experience, especially for multi-night stays and larger groups. The recent renovation suggests that the facilities are modern and well-maintained.

In addition to the sleeping accommodations, the campground offers a "recreation hall" that is described as having "plenty of chairs, tables, and space." This provides a communal area for group activities, gatherings, meals, and indoor recreation, making it a versatile space for various group needs, regardless of weather conditions. The inclusion of a "kitchen" that was "well stocked with pots, pans etc." is another significant benefit, allowing groups to prepare their own meals conveniently. However, one reviewer noted the importance of bringing essentials like cooking oil and condiments, indicating that while the cookware is provided, certain staples are not.

For those interested in outdoor activities beyond the immediate campsite, Cornet Bay Resident Group Camp offers "multiple hikes with clear signage and detailed maps available." This positive feedback about the staff adds to the overall appeal of the campground as a well-managed and guest-oriented facility.

However, there are a few important details that potential visitors should be aware of. One reviewer pointed out that while pots, pans, plates, and utensils are provided in the cabins, there are "no chairs or couches in the cabin." This means that groups will need to plan accordingly for seating within their sleeping quarters, perhaps by bringing their own portable chairs or utilizing the seating available in the recreation hall. Another logistical detail mentioned is that "to access your reservation, you have to go across the highway to the park entrance." This is an important piece of information for check-in procedures and might require some coordination upon arrival.

For those interested in outdoor cooking, the campground provides an "outside fireplace and some grills," offering options for barbecues and enjoying campfires (subject to any local regulations or fire restrictions). Additionally, there is a "small convenience store that sells firewood" located nearby, making it easy to obtain fuel for campfires and grilling.

The reviews do not contain any explicit promotional information such as discounts or special offers. However, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the beautiful location, excellent facilities (particularly the renovated bunkhouses, recreation hall, and well-stocked kitchen), and the access to multiple hiking trails serves as a strong implicit endorsement for Cornet Bay Resident Group Camp. The fact that multiple reviewers express a desire to return ("I can't wait to find a reason to go back!") speaks volumes about the quality of the experience offered.
