Hometown RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Jonesville, North Carolina area that offer a blend of natural beauty and convenient amenities? Hometown RV Park, located at 100 Dwayne St, Jonesville, NC 28642, USA, presents itself as a potential option for RV travelers. Based on recent customer feedback, the park offers certain appealing features, alongside some areas that prospective guests might want to consider.
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Hometown RV Park is the friendliness of the staff. According to a recent review, the staff are welcoming, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere upon arrival and during the stay. Friendly and helpful staff can significantly enhance the overall RV park experience, providing assistance and creating a more welcoming environment for guests.
Cleanliness of the facilities is another area where Hometown RV Park receives positive remarks. One reviewer specifically noted "nice clean facilities," which is a crucial factor for many RV travelers when choosing among "RV Parks Near Me." Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry areas contribute to a comfortable and hygienic stay, making guests feel more at ease.
The natural environment surrounding Hometown RV Park also appears to be a significant draw. The presence of "walking trails along a river" offers opportunities for leisurely strolls and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Yadkin River. The sounds of "birds chirping" further enhance the peaceful ambiance during the day, suggesting a tranquil setting where guests can connect with nature. For those seeking "RV Parks Near Me" with opportunities for outdoor recreation and a serene atmosphere, the riverside location and walking trails could be quite appealing.
However, it's important to consider some of the concerns raised by recent visitors. One reviewer noted that while the park is peaceful during the day, the tranquility can be disrupted in the late evening due to residents being "allowed to play music outside until 10pm" with "heavy base." This could be a significant drawback for travelers seeking a quiet night's rest and might be a crucial consideration for those sensitive to noise when choosing from "RV Parks Near Me." The fact that this noise issue led one guest to leave a night early underscores its potential impact on the overall experience.
Another reviewer described Hometown RV Park as a "very quiet place" overall, suggesting that the noise issue might be isolated or perceived differently by different guests. This same reviewer also offered the observation that the park might be "more for adults that don’t have children," which could indicate the general atmosphere or the types of amenities available. Families with children might want to inquire further about child-friendly facilities or activities if considering a stay here.
The landscaping at Hometown RV Park was identified as an area needing improvement by one guest. While acknowledging that "the trails are clear," the reviewer described the "grass" as "horrible." The aesthetic appeal of an RV park can contribute to the overall enjoyment of the stay, and concerns about the condition of the landscaping might be a factor for some travelers when comparing "RV Parks Near Me." Additionally, this reviewer pointed out that "some of the picnic tables need to be replaced for sure," suggesting that some of the park's infrastructure might be in need of maintenance or upgrades.
On a positive note, the second reviewer mentioned "strong WiFi," which is an increasingly important amenity for RV travelers who need to stay connected for work or leisure. Reliable internet access can significantly enhance the convenience and satisfaction of a stay at any of the "RV Parks Near Me."
Based on the available reviews, Hometown RV Park offers a mixed experience. The friendly staff, clean facilities, and riverside walking trails are definite positives that could attract visitors seeking a pleasant and nature-oriented stay. The strong WiFi is another appealing amenity. However, the potential for late-night noise from residents and the reported issues with landscaping and the condition of some picnic tables are factors that prospective guests should consider.
For local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Jonesville, NC, Hometown RV Park presents a location with both advantages and drawbacks. The peaceful daytime environment and access to nature might be appealing, but the potential for evening noise could be a concern for some. The comments about the park possibly being more geared towards adults without children might also influence the decision for families. The landscaping and maintenance of picnic tables appear to be areas where the park could improve.
Given the conflicting aspects highlighted in the reviews, it would be beneficial for local users considering Hometown RV Park to contact them directly at (336) 258-2138 or +1 336-258-2138 to inquire about current noise policies, the status of landscaping improvements, and the condition of amenities like picnic tables. Speaking with the park management can provide a clearer picture of the current environment and services offered.
In conclusion, Hometown RV Park in Jonesville, NC, offers friendly service, clean facilities, and a pleasant riverside setting with walking trails. The availability of strong WiFi is also a plus. However, potential guests should be aware of the possibility of late-night noise and the reported issues with landscaping and some amenities. Weighing these factors and potentially contacting the park directly for more information will help local users determine if Hometown RV Park meets their needs and preferences when searching for "RV Parks Near Me."

Hometown RV Park Reviews
Friendly staff, nice clean facilities, walking trails along a river and birds chirping. So peaceful until late when the residents are allowed to play music outside until 10pm. Heavy base. Left a night early.
Apr 19, 2025 · C KayeVery quiet place. Strong WiFi. I would think this is a place more for adults that don’t have children. The main complaint I would have would be with the landscaping. The trails are clear. But, the grass is horrible. Some of the picnic tables need to be replaced for sure.
Sep 01, 2024 · Amanda HodgesThis is a great no frills, but gorgous 20 acre RV Park in North Carolina with a friendly and helpful staff. The back ins and pull thru’s are packed stone and long, so plenty of space for big rigs. They have beautiful walking trails and the property backs up to the Yadkin River Walk. Also picnic gathering spots, games, hammocks and playgrounds. If you like nature and being outdoors, this place is for you.
May 20, 2024 · Jan BeardsleeIt was great! The rv lot sits up, so you don't have to worry about flooding like some of the other rv parks in the area. The office staff was super nice! Checkin was good, even for after hours! Other campers were friendly there. Great dog friendly and kid friendly park! The walk to see the Yadkin river and the covered bridge and trail were pretty cool too! Trash pickup was at ur site daily, which was nice! The location was good, being close to the highway, restaurants, Foodlion, but still tucked away in a quiet area! They have events, but unfortunately we didn't make it back to see and it was rainy. I would definitely recommend this site!!
May 29, 2023 · Barbie A.Had a very nice time. Loved the trail only thing we struggled with was wifi. If you have small kids the playground is not very big a few swings and a slide. Very clean and the bathhouses and laundry was amazing. Nice folks working the place.
