Johnson Mobile Home Court Introduce
If you are searching for "rv parks near me" in the Statesboro, Georgia area, Johnson Mobile Home Court, located at 13 Grady Johnson Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. However, it is crucial to consider all available information, particularly the experiences shared by current and former residents, to make an informed decision. Based on recent customer reviews, there are significant concerns regarding the management, fees, and overall living conditions at Johnson Mobile Home Court.
The environment of Johnson Mobile Home Court, based on the provided reviews, appears to be facing considerable challenges. One recurring issue is the state of the roads within the park, described as having potholes that are like "mazes." This suggests a lack of maintenance and potentially difficult driving conditions for residents and their vehicles, including RVs if any are permitted. The external appearance and upkeep of individual lots also seem to be a point of contention, with one review mentioning inconsistent enforcement of yard maintenance rules. While some residents have reportedly received assistance with yard clean-up or porch repairs, others have been fined for minor issues like pinecones and pine straw blown into their yards by the wind. This inconsistency in enforcement and the imposition of fines for seemingly minor natural occurrences raise concerns about the overall management approach and the living environment within the park.
The services and features of Johnson Mobile Home Court, as described by residents, present several significant drawbacks. A major point of dissatisfaction is the increase in lot rent, which one reviewer states was "almost triple the amount," with promises of improvements that allegedly have not materialized even after two years. This suggests a potential disconnect between the fees charged and the quality of the facilities and services provided. Furthermore, a significant change in services is the discontinuation of water being included in the lot rent, adding an unexpected and potentially substantial expense for residents. The imposition of "new fees/fines" associated with new rules, such as prohibitions on toys, swimming pools, or swings in the yard, further impacts the quality of life and potentially increases the overall cost of living in the park. The reviews also highlight difficulties in communication with the management, with one resident stating that it is "impossible to get a hold of them!" Additionally, there are serious allegations of water being turned off for the "WHOLE neighborhood for days on end" due to management issues, with no reimbursement provided to the affected residents. These service disruptions and communication problems paint a concerning picture for anyone considering residing in Johnson Mobile Home Court.
The features of the lots themselves also appear to be a source of dissatisfaction. One reviewer describes them as "tiny lots" for which "insane prices" are charged. This suggests that residents may be paying a premium for limited space, potentially impacting the feasibility and comfort of parking and living in an RV, if that is permitted. The lack of updates or improvements to the park over an extended period, despite rent increases supposedly intended for this purpose, indicates a potential neglect of the infrastructure and overall quality of the mobile home court. The restrictions on personal items in the yards, such as toys and recreational equipment, may also be a significant drawback for families with children or those who enjoy outdoor activities on their property.
Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews, and given the overwhelmingly negative feedback, it is unlikely that the park's current residents would offer any positive promotion. Instead, the strong warnings such as "DO NOT LIVE HERE!!" and "This place sucks" serve as stark anti-promotion, highlighting the deep dissatisfaction and negative experiences of those who have resided at Johnson Mobile Home Court. These sentiments should be taken very seriously by anyone considering this location as a potential "rv park near me" or a long-term mobile home residence.
For local users actively searching for "rv parks near me" in Statesboro, GA, it is crucial to weigh the potential benefits of any location against the concerns raised by its residents. In the case of Johnson Mobile Home Court, the reviews paint a concerning picture of increasing costs, decreasing services, poor maintenance, inconsistent management practices, and significant communication issues. While the basic function of providing a lot for a mobile home or RV might be met, the overall living experience appears to be far from satisfactory for many residents. The alleged discrepancies between promised improvements and the reality, the added costs for water, the restrictive rules, and the potential for prolonged water outages are all serious factors that prospective residents should carefully consider.
Given the strong negative sentiments expressed in the reviews, it would be prudent for anyone considering Johnson Mobile Home Court to seek further information from multiple sources and potentially visit the property to assess the conditions firsthand. However, the consistent themes of mismanagement, lack of upkeep, and increasing costs without corresponding improvements should serve as significant red flags. Exploring alternative "rv parks near me" in the Statesboro, GA area with more positive and reliable feedback from their residents would likely be a more prudent approach to finding a suitable long-term or short-term living situation for your RV or mobile home.
In conclusion, while Johnson Mobile Home Court is located in Statesboro, GA, and might appear as an option when searching for "rv parks near me," the overwhelmingly negative reviews from its residents present serious concerns. Issues such as significant rent increases without promised improvements, the added cost of water, restrictive rules, poor road maintenance, inconsistent management, and water outages suggest a potentially unsatisfactory living environment. Local users seeking RV parks or mobile home lots in the area are strongly advised to carefully consider these experiences and explore alternative options with more positive resident feedback to ensure a more stable and comfortable living situation.

Johnson Mobile Home Court Reviews
This place raised their lot rent, almost triple the amount with claims to make improvements. Two years later, still no improvements! The potholes in the roads are like mazes. Now water is not included. They also imposed new fees/fines to go with new rules, like no toys, swimming pools, or swings in the yard. They have helped others with yard clean up or porch repairs, some they "overlook", and some they fine when a strong wind blows too many pinecones and pine straw in the yard. Then when asking why, the office tells you to stop being childish. This place sucks.
Apr 26, 2025 · Linda WallaceDO NOT LIVE HERE!! They charge insane prices for tiny lots, never update anything. It's impossible to get a hold of them! They turn off the water for the WHOLE neighborhood for days on end and never reimburse anything for THEIR ISSUE!!!! NEVER LIVE HERE! They scam the families who all live here.
Aug 23, 2024 · Jay BerrryA few years ago, this place was really nice- here lately, it's going down fast- I don't know what is up with the owner but he needs to be more aware of who he is renting these homes and lots out to. Too many stray cats & dogs running loose, junk piling up around the homes, broke down cars sitting in yards, and shady activities. Recently had a huge influx of mexicans moving in who don't speak English and are filthy- they abuse their animals, and live as if they were still living in their 3rd world country- Maybe a phone to ICE needs to be made, they are ruining this place!
Jul 20, 2018 · JMarieI was surprised the first time I found this place I have been in here several times I find it very convenient as far as getting in and out it's better than an apartment the homeowners in here and take good care of their homes and don't tolerate any Shenanigans so be on your best behavior when you're in here
