Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Desert Hot Springs, California area, Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park, located at 18070 Langlois Rd, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92241, presents a resident-owned community with a blend of positive and negative feedback from its residents and visitors. Understanding these varying perspectives is crucial for anyone considering a short or long-term stay at this park.
One long-term resident expresses a deep sense of belonging, stating, "Home, I love it." While acknowledging a personal preference for an ocean view, they emphatically declare, "But, I wouldn't give this place up." This strong endorsement suggests a positive living experience for at least some residents. The reviewer also mentions staying through the previous summer, despite "very hot record heat for record days in a row" due to Covid-19, and concludes that the park is "still the best for least," indicating a perception of affordability, especially considering the desert environment. This resident also shares that they travel in a motorhome with friends, implying that the park may accommodate RVs, although this is not explicitly stated as a primary focus.
However, another visitor recounts a significantly less positive experience while preparing for their wedding and visiting a friend within the park. This visitor highlights several concerns, primarily related to management interaction and park rules. They mention being given "a lot of hassle" by the management due to the visitor being under 55 years of age. This suggests a potential age restriction within the park, which could be a crucial factor for prospective residents or visitors to be aware of.
Furthermore, this visitor strongly criticizes the park's pet policy, stating that dogs are "not allowed to let a dog walk anywhere in the park on leash or off period," with signs posted in three different locations to this effect. The visitor describes this rule as "ridiculous." Such a strict pet policy could be a significant deterrent for RVers who travel with dogs and expect to be able to walk them within the park premises, even on a leash.
The visitor also notes that while Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park is "a resident owned property," it "seems like only 1 person runs the place," implying a potentially limited management presence or a centralized decision-making structure that might lead to inflexibility or difficulties in resolving issues. This perception of a single individual managing the park could be a concern for some, especially if prompt and comprehensive management support is desired.
Considering these reviews, Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park presents a community with a strong sense of home and affordability for at least one long-term resident, who seems to have adapted to the desert environment. However, it also raises concerns regarding potential age restrictions (possibly 55+), a very strict no-dog-walking policy, and a perception of limited management. These factors could significantly impact the suitability of this park for different types of RVers.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Desert Hot Springs, CA, Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park offers an affordable option within a desert setting. However, it is crucial to be aware of the potential limitations regarding age and pet policies. The resident-owned nature of the park might contribute to a strong sense of community for some, but the visitor's experience suggests that management interactions and park rules may be rigid.
To obtain accurate and up-to-date information about RV site availability, size, and hookups, as well as detailed policies regarding age restrictions, pets, and any other relevant regulations, it is essential to contact Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park directly at (760) 329-3277 or +1 760-329-3277. Inquiring about the specific rules and expectations for visitors and long-term residents with RVs will be crucial in determining if this park aligns with individual needs and preferences.
Given the contrasting experiences shared in the reviews, prospective RV residents should carefully consider their personal circumstances, particularly regarding age and pet ownership, before considering Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park. The perception of affordability might be attractive, but it is important to balance this with the potential restrictions and management style described by one of the visitors. Direct communication with the park management is highly recommended to clarify these aspects and to gain a comprehensive understanding of what it is like to stay at Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park in Desert Hot Springs, CA, offers an affordable desert living option within a resident-owned community. However, potential RV residents should be aware of potential age restrictions (55+), a strict no-dog-walking policy, and perceptions of a limited management presence. While some residents find it to be a beloved home, others have encountered restrictive rules and challenging management interactions. Contacting the park directly is crucial to ascertain its suitability as an "RV park near me" based on individual needs and preferences.

Joshua Springs Mobile Home Park Reviews
Home, I love it. Wish I had an Ocean View. We'll see the developments? But, I wouldn't give this place up. Stayed this last summer because on Covid-19, very hot record heat for record days in a row. But, hey, it's still the best for least. This isa Desert! Not all my posted photos from here. Motorhome travels with firends....
Feb 08, 2021 · Eric WomackWhile visiting with a friend as we prepared for our wedding our car broke down and the mgmnt gave him a lot of hassle over us being there, me being under 55, and you aren't allowed to let a dog walk anywhere in the park on leash or off period and they post signs in 3 different places telling you that. I feel like that is ridiculous. It's a resident owned property but seems like only 1 person runs the place.
Jun 25, 2024 · Lacie Renee CamachoI'm submitting this review only as a non-resident guest who has visited in both daytime and evenings. The community grounds are always very tidy and well kept. I've never interacted with the other residents except my friends who own there which indicates the majority of residents while having a watchful eye of who comes and goes; they apparently keep mostly to themselves. At night, the streets are very well lit.
Sep 10, 2021 · Dusty PérezWe recently were visiting mates at Joshua Springs MHP in the evening. It was quiet, well lit streets, units appeared to be orderly, grounds were tidy and the tenants we did see offered a simple, "Hello" or waved to us and went on minding their own business. It appeared to be an ideal community. We were very pleased with our visit to this park.
Dec 08, 2020 · Dustin Alexander-PérezThis is by far one of the best keep secrets in the Coachella Valley for a resident owned Mobile home parks. The residents all pitch in and volunteer to work in the park! It is very clean and quiet. Activities from water exercise, card games, shuffle board, pancake breakfasts, dinners, etc., etc.-Your neighbors help one another and look out for each other! What more could you ask for??
